Every Japanese box of any type that I've seen has been proven fake, and I've seen a lot of them.

The game isn't coming out in this incarnation, so what the heck??

It's pretty much confirmed that they're coming out with a third version with Giratina on the cover, but you're straight up lying by saying that the official box art has been released, because it hasn't.

Its not fake. your mind can't just understand the fact that it is true. Okay lets make a deal June 20 when it is suppose to come out, if its not out ill give you any item if im right you give me a darkrai

It is definitely convincing but just because it isn't more widely known makes me skeptical.
It does seem like it had some good concepts, name, and boxart, etc.
But believe me, when it is officially announced, everyone will know it.
Until then, chill and hope for true news.

That's the point of April Fools Jokes... to fool the reader into believing them, would you rather them have put a terrible looking picture of Giratina on the box instead and wrote "April Fools Version."?

On top of that, if Nintendo did release information on this, it'd be all over the Pokemon fan sites. On top of that, it looks just like the hoax from a "Japanese version of the game" same art, same box, just English text instead of Japanese text.
 
It is an April fools joke, but it doesn't hurt to think that the features it offer would be awesome and hope that maybe in the they will be on the game.

and the too profession to be a hoax thing...that does kinda make all who say that sound like they've never heard of photoshop and fanfiction. I mean didn't anyone see that fake Legend of Zelda Movie trailer? That there should be a sign to poeple just how far gamers will go to foll there comrades in the sake of humor.

the sad fact are; the third game is real, but the features that site released are just a dream/hope/wishes. Other site (ones I've actually heard of before this event) definitely wouldn't of over looked something this big if it was real, thats the real tell tale sign of this being BS (aside from the date).

Despite that, it doesn't hurt to dream/hope/wish that the features this site made up come true, even some of them be awesome..just don't hold your breathe...or do, actually yeah do...cause then we won't have to deal with you XD

AS OF RIGHT NOW, THERE ARE NO THIRD VERSIONS OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED FROM THE DIAMOND AND PEARL GENERATION OF POKEMON GAMES FOR THE NINTENDO DS. ANYTHING YOU HAVE HEARD IS ALL JUST FANBASED SPECULATION.

The version this topic was trying to announce was a fake, and there's still no announced Japanese release. Just get over it.

I want there to be a third game in the series, because the third game always seems to expand on the first 2 games' story, giving us as players something more to look forward to. It's going to happen eventually, yes, but at this point, it's only a possibility, and they haven't made anything concrete.

Just because you claim to have a friend with connections doesn't earn you the respect that you're trying to get, especially when you don't have the proof to back yourself up.

I'd take you up on that offer, but I know that you're the type of smartmouthed little prick who makes a wager on one thing (your friend having told you that he's seen official proof of it and that it's been announced, which is what your original arguement was about), but if something completely different happens (it does get announced, but isn't even the same thing that you were talking about) you'll claim that you meant the one that really happened, even if it's not what you were originally running your mouth about.

Then, when I call you out on it, you would change your original post.

Trust me, I'm a member of far too many forums, and I know how predictable little morons like you are; you're dime-a-dozen, and like to stir up attention in the community to try to make yourself look good, but then when you get called out on it, you just get huffy and say that it's not what you meant.

And if that was your only means of getting a Darkrai, keep searching, especially since you would've been handing over whatever item it was that I would've wanted.
 
*Phew* i sure have missed a good discussion! I still agree with darkcookie in saying this IS NOT fake. We believe in it, and if it is not mentioned in Coro coro, we'll have to wait till June or whatever.. Who would go to such extrodinary legnths for this "April Fools joke"? The article says things that i believe can be true. I can see voice command is very realistic, and i think it will be true. WHO would make an article so serious for an April Fools joke? Thats what i believe.

That's the thing, in order to have this sort of information, it would have had to be released in Coro coro first. And come on, get Lugia and Ho-oh out of the events, that B.
The reason because it's such a good April Fools joke, is because it's been done very well, why would you make an April Fools joke with "April Foold Joke" on it?
A person with a very good sense of humour, and somone who can trick people with a big imagination, that's who

And also, Serebii doesn't have anything, Pokemon.com doesn't have anything, there's been no word of it until now, and why would they give out the first amount of information, just under 3 months until it hits the shelves?

Seriously, it's a joke. There are far too many logical explainations as to why it is fake. No real references. No offical word from the makers. The fact that there is an english box art. The fact that all pokemon information sites has not made any mention of this The fact that it was made ON FRACKIN' APRIL 1st, as a way to exploit the ignorance of poke players.

Stop closing your ears, and get over the fact that IT IS FAKE. The overwhelming evidence should tell you otherwise. "It looks too serious to be fake" is NOT a real argument . In fact, if you go by that, prepared to get scammed alot in your lives. It is not hard for them to make a real looking fake box, the same way it is easy to make a fake "Folex" and sell it as a Rolex watch. The things included, sounds either "duh", or ludicros. Seriously, 3d battling on the DS? No time soon, at least not THIS soon.

I know we want this game that we are willing to believe anything. But that is a quick way to lose all your money in the future. Enough with the "it looks so real" crap, as Ryden & I already said, it is NOT hard to docture some fake photos. In fact, I have one of me kissing Hollie Berry (*sigh*). And a new form of stupidity was made when some fool actually tried the "my friend said it was true. He has connestions, but I can't show you, and I don't have proof, but my friend said so!".

Just go watch the Legend of Zelda movie trailer that was an April Fools joke. Then come back and tell me that people don't go to great lengths for an April Fools joke.

People, as has been repeated so many times in this thread by people who actually have sense, this is FAKE. I'm pretty sure that other sources such as Coro Coro and Serebii would have released some details about it by now. They don't release information about it on the day it is released... ._.

*Sigh* alright, i give up. I wondered how long i could try and believe it was true, but.. you guys hve seriously proved ya selves.. yeah i was a little stupid.. even though, i can't WAIT for a new remake!

I wouldn't say stupid (well, I would, but not to be mean). Just naive. Or, in a better word, blind. I know you want the game, we all do, and that is why youi were willing to jump at the first sign of release. But ya gotta draw the line somewhere. Just as bad as those "lose weight quick" pills. They will release a third game soon enough. Just not this soon.
 
Agreed. I became very naive, and i apologize. I still can't wait for the release of the remake. I should open my eyes in the future. Your right, i shouldn't jump at a sign of release.
 
i'm sorry but it looks fake IMO. And like skarmory said the person who made this did make a big mistake the name lol. Also why is the name english? Wouldn't it be Japanese? i'd like to see it happening but not right now. I don't think yet i mean also 3D battling? not yet Nintendo and also the the dates don't make sense i mean is it only gonnna take you one day to translate the whole thing? But Pokemon Opal could still have a chance in the in aabout one or two years.

So i think... FAKE for now...

I would agree that you may have been naive; I know that it's hard not to jump on the bandwagon first time a new game is hinted. Yes, we all want the game, but we just have to tell ourselves that, for the time being, it's not being released. It's obvious that it will, just... not yet.

Not naive - VERY naive! I should've thought about the possiblites of it being a fake - i instantly thought it was true. It will be released, just not.. in June, maybe later this year.
 
Yes exactly! and when it does i'll be dancin'! uh.. forget i said that :/ And don't get yourself down because when a new game for Opal does come out there will be threads all over pokecommunity. so sorry coro coro but your April Fools Joke has been Discovered! yeah that'sright by the great people of pokecommunity! :) But you weren't VERY NAIVE you were just hoping and i bet some people didn't think of it like that. At least your were able to admit you were wrong so be proud of it and also you wre not THAT NAIVE but if when i first got hinted about it i thought it was true but then i started thinking and kept checking back and then thought there was no way it could be true atleast not yet. But it will be here and we know it! :)
