"What do you think will happen if someone tries to take your flygon again?" I asked, standing up. "I need to be there if you can't get Flygon to keep scyther from going berserk" I said, grinning. "And it doesn't look like I'll be able to keep scyther from coming. Trust me, if I'm not here to keep him under control you'll regret it the moment you try to take them apart."

"Are you quite done yet?" I heard a voice say in my mind. i turned, and saw Girafarig, who seemed to be consentrating. it took me a moment to figure out that he was the one that said it, and i was a bit baffled by it, but I shook my head slightly and mentally responded with "apparently"

To Rauru, i said "fine, but be a hassle and I don't care what scyther thinks." As I hopped on Flygon's back and she took off into the air, and I said in a rush "we've got to see if Absol's okay.."

I looked over to Scyther, and he nodded. I clung to his soulders, and placed my feet on his back for support, and he took off after them, until we were right beside them. "Follow us, Scyther knows the last place we saw him." I said, as Scyther tried to take the lead.

"If you say so" I said, as Flygon moved aside, closer to the sand, which I knew was so she'd be able to move top speed but still be a bit slower then the Scyther. that, and she liked sand, being native to the region..

"Don't try any acrobatics now, you've got a passenger, as much as you want to show off." I muttered to Scyther, who grudgingly agreed. It wasn't too long before we were over the area where The absol had jumped off the bike to fight the flygon. "We last saw him over here." I yelled down to Eclipse.

flygon waised into the air a bit and flipped over, dropping me off it's back, and i managed to hit the ground on my feet, scanning the area. Immediatly, my eyes fell upon a trail of blood, about an hour old. I silently ordered Flygon down, and she affirmed that yes, it was Absol's blood. Unfortunatly, right then was when a minor sandstorm decided to start up, which made Flygon the automatic leader.

Scyther was no stranger to sandstorms, but he still douldn't navigate one that wel. He hovered down to the ground, and i hopped of. "What now?" I asked Eclipse, hoping she would have some idea of what we should do next.

"We wait." I said, as Flygon dissapeared into the sandstorm. A few moments later, I heard a high, drawn out cry. "She's found something." I said, as I headed towards the sound. Once i caught up, I saw Absol, his fur stained red, with blood all over the place. I but my lip, as Flygon quieted the storm, then landed. i could tell Absol was still alive, if just barely..

i could hear absol saying something, of course in pokemon language, but to me it was still english. "Eclipse.. I'm sorry... for not protecting you." I could feel a part of me die away as his breathing ceased, and without thinking, i had myself attatched to Rauru, burying my face into his coat, my tears immediatly soaking it..

I held her close, but I didn't say anything. I knew what it was like, to lose someone you cared for like that. Heck, i had lost just about everyone other than my pokemon, though seeing her like this hurt every bit as much as losing my family did back then, I couldn't stand it...

"First my family.. then my friends.. then my team.. and now my pokemon." I whispered through my tears. I felt like if somebody had stabbed me right then and there i wouldn't have minded much, in fact, I might have been eternally grateful.. I could hardly breathe, as every breath I tried to take was cut out thanks to my crying..

"I know, believe me, I know what you're going through." I said, trying to keep the memories from resurfacing. I held her close, and centered all my thoughts on her, leaving no room for my past...

My thoughts were inturrupted by a loud cry above, and I looked up to see a sudden flash of rainbow feathers before the legendary pokemon Ho-oh suddenly landed nearby, causing me to break away from Rauru and move slightly away. I knew of the power the bird held. Suddenly, he lowered his head to my Absol, and nudged the body, causing a blue fire to jump from the bird to the pokemon, and I realised that he was slowly breathing life into the Absol.

ooc:I'm Lost again, I see. Where are you guys at?

ic: I awoke slowly, realizing I must have dozed off while in the tunnel. I was annoyed to find the other two were not in sight. "Dang it, why is it so hard to keep up with these two?!" I shouted in frustration. Getting up, I headed down the tunnel, figuring that was teh only direction they could have gone since the chamber in the otherdirectoins was collapsed.

I was shocked at the bird's action, but no more shocked then I was when I saw Absol stumble to his feet, injured, but alive. Ho-oh gave a loud cry, performing an unmistakable bow in my direction, before flapping it's wings, taking to the air, scatting rainbow colored feathers. Finally, after a few moments, it left, causing a rainbow as it flew.

OOC: We're out in the middle of the desert, we didn't go all that far while you were gone pogi.

IC: I was amazed at the event, but my shock was held at bay by the cynicism that was as much of me as my eye color. As Ho-oh flew away, I bent down to the absol, and quickly sprayed a super potion on him, enough to keep him with us until we got to a pokemon center. In my other hand though, was a camera. "Just so I know I'm not crazy at least." I thought, tightly gripping it, as if I feared it would be taken away.

Absol didn't really notice, as he jumped onto me, licking my face, more overjoyed then I had ever seen him in a while. even though his blade was dangerously close to me, I didn't fear him. He was my closest friend, I knew he would never harm me...

I stood up, and looked over to the other guy and held up my hand. I didn't want to interupt this moment, and I felt that the absol was more than trustworthy, after all, he had bought us the time we needed to get to Eclipse...
