Because I anticipated that Zoroark's name would be romanized as "Zoloarc", I still pronounce it as such even though my theory didn't hold up. XD

Groudon- Grouw-don (Like "ground" without the "d" sound followed by "don".)

    Kyogre- Kai-Oh-Gur

Arceus- Ar-See-Us (I hate how the official pronunciation is apparently Ar-Kee-Us)

    Linoone- Lie-Noon

Dusknoir- Dusk-Nu-Our (Never was sure how to pronounce this one, I just pronounce the last part like you would with the variety of wine.)

There have probably been a lot of Pokemon I didn't pronounce right, I just can't remember them at the time.

At first, my brain switched the letters in "Ariados" so I pronounced it uh-RY-dos. Then there's Dusknoir and Gardevoir, which I used to pronounce Dusk-NWAH and Gar-duh-VWAH, but now I say them Dusk-NOR and Gar-duh-VOR. Of course, there was a time when I said Dusk-NOY-er, which is even worse. I still don't know how to pronounce those two.
With Xatu I sometimes try to pronounce the X as an X, so it comes out "KSATU." Other times I say "ZATU".
Suicune has always been a challenge for me, so I just say it the way it's spelled: SOO-i-coon.

I had some pretty bad pronunciations when it came down to pokemon, I'll list some of them:

    Suicune-Sci-coone
    Linoone-Lie-noown
    Kyogre-Kie-rogue
    Arceus-Ar-Zeus
    Unown-Oo-noun

Also, I called Striaton city Stration, but that was because I wasn't really paying attention.

I pronounce "Houndour" like hound-our. Just the way it looks. =/

Some of my pronunciations are so weird that I can't even describe the phonetics of them. Ugh, they're certainly different, thanks to being around my friends who are utterly clueless on pronouncing them. >_>

Since I don't think I ever watched the anime, I really don't know how to pronounce most the names. But here are my gut reactions on some of the weird ones:

    *Rayquaza = Ray-KAH-za, Groudon = GROU-don as in ground , and Kyogre = Key-OH-gur

*Arceus = AR-kee-us, as in arcane. (Apparently this is right. Huh.)

*Gardevoir = GAR-de-wahr, as in some weird combination of Latin and French pronunciations, or something.

*Hydreigon = Hi-DREE-jun, which I'm like 99% sure is wrong but I don't know what to change it to.

When I watched that movie with Giratina, they pronounced it as 'ji-ra-tee-na' so your pronunciation is probably correct. I'm not that sure, though. I never watch the Pokemon anime anymore. I just caught a glimpse of that Giratina movie on Cartoon Network when I was switching channels.

    I thowgt Hydreigon = Hy-dro-gen

    That makes me laugh XD

    I pronounce there this way:

    Groudon as Gr-ow-don
    Alomomola as Alo-momo-la
    Rayquaza as Ray-kway-za
    Entei as En-tay
    Raikou as Rai-koo
    Suicune as Swee-coon

I do believe that Audino could be pronounced either way irrespective of the way it's pronounced in the anime:

    Audino as Awdeenoe
    or as Aw-deenoe

Can't think of any others XD

Pronunciation mistakes I used to make:

Pidgeot: PID-jit (that's what the Official Pokemon Handbook said--I guess it was wrong)
    Chinchou: chin-CHOO
    Xatu: EX-ah-too
    Misdreavus: mis-DREE-vus
    Mismagius: mis-MAGE-ee-us
    Houndour: houn-DOO-er
    Raikou: rai-KOO
    Entei: EN-tie
    Suicune: SOO-ih-koon
    Celebi: sell-EB-ee
    Sceptile: SKEP-tie-ull
    Manectric: ma-NECK-trick
    Rayquaza: ray-KWAH-za
    Milotic: mill-AH-tick
    Sewaddle: SEE-wad-dull
    Uxie: OOK-see
    Plusle: PLUS-lee
    Gallade: GAL-aid

    Names I deliberately mispronounce:

    Illumise
    My way: ILL-oo-mise
    Their way: ill-oo-MEE-zay

    Arceus
    My way: ar-SAY-us
    Their way: ARK-ee-us

This is an on-going problem for me. XD I usually pronounce names based on spellings, such as for Buneary, Gliscor, etc. Also:

    Sableye: Sab-lai
    Girafarig: Gee-raf-rig
    Kyogre: Kee-yo-gre
    Rayquaza: Rai-qua-za
    Chinchou: Chin-choo

    ...and so much more.

You know you're Canadian/French when you first see Herdier and pronounce it as Herd-ee-yay :P

Edit: Oops, my bad on the necro post, my apologies
