Pokemon PWT (Black 2 ROM Hack) [Complete]

So awhile back, I made a ROM Hack for Black 2 with a simple premise: make a game that is essentially a boss rush of all the boss trainers I could think up of throughout the entire series. That's where the name comes from, because the playthrough of this game is essentially one large Pokemon World Tournament. This is the result of that premise come to life. Some notes regarding the ROM Hack:

    - You can catch every single non-legendary Pokemon before Gym 6 and you can even catch all the legendaries post-Gym 6 in the mountain.
    - Every single TM can be obtained in this game through either overworld or Marts and you can have them all by the time you get to Lentimas Town right after Gym 6.
    - You can also buy Shards and Heart Scales in Driftveil, which is where the Move Relearner and first of the Shard Tutors is (Sadly I couldn't think of a way to integrate the fourth post-game shard tutor into this, but the other 3 are available throughout the game as per usual).
    - Some Pokemon now have access to their Hidden Abilities as normal abilities; you can see every Pokemon's first and (if applicable) second abilities in a list in the Docs.
    - Some Pokemon have changed evolutions. The most noteworthy are Friendship evolutions and Trade evolutions have been changed. Also, every Pokemon has been made so that it can reach its final evolution by Lv40. You also have access to every evolutionary stone in the normal shop once 3 badges have been obtained. The list of changed evolutions is in a list in the Docs.
    - There is a Doc that lets you know which trainers represent what boss so that you can know what fights you're going into. If you're wanting to know moves, abilities, and items, they are the same as their original fights (I typically used the original games as references rather than remakes), so looking up the data from the fight the game came from should suffice (I did have to make some changes from post Gen 5 fights, but I tried to keep it as accurate as possible; one note that for replacement Fairy type moves on bosses, I often made them Dragon moves since Fairy is a hard counter to dragon and Dragon is also good against Dragon. Sometimes I made them Psychic or Normal moves if I didn't think Dragon fit).
    - While this may seem unconventional, I would highly recommend plugging in both an all medicine cheat and a max money cheat. I would have just found some way to give both of those to the player in-game, but I am not actually that good at ROM Hacking and only know it on a basic level, so I couldn't really find a way to implement such. You'll want the medicine because, especially in later fights, you might find yourself getting pretty roughed up after each fight, so it will save you plenty of trips to the Pokemon Center! Also it gives you Rare Candies if you need them. Max Money is mainly for TMs and anything else you'll want to buy. Finding these cheats online isn't typically too difficult, just searching for Black 2 cheats should give you a couple webpages that should have the codes necessary. While it's not necessary to do this, I would highly recommend it for a more enjoyable experience.
    - This is a game I would highly recommend not to nuzlocke and is not designed with nuzlocking in mind. Not to say that you couldn't do it, but it is not recommended.
    - I sadly could not think of a way to implement Egg moves into the game since the daycare isn't until post-game (for some reason) and I don't have the coding knowledge to make an Egg Move Tutor. If I did, I would've.
    - This is a game that is designed with team building and battling being the focus, with as many resources as early as I could get them in for having whatever Pokemon team comp you want with as easy access to teaching them TM and Tutor moves as I could get. I will note that, with this game being one big boss gauntlet, this is a game that I would recommend taking slowly, as it will take you quite awhile to beat it. You start consistently hitting 5-6 Pokemon trainers by the mid-game and it doesn't really stop from there. When I play tested it, I would do maybe 2-3 routes in the early game and 1-2 routes in the mid-late game at a time.
    - I want to make note (I've mentioned it a couple times up to this point, but wanted to make special note of it on its own) that I am by no means good with ROM Hacking. I know next to nothing about things like Hex code, Binary, etc. I basically just used various programs that I found to be able to alter wild encounters, trainer teams, marts, etc., and even some of those had me at my wits end trying to get them to work (not because the programs were bad, but because of my general ineptitude with this sort of thing). I'm sure there are plenty of complaints people could find that I could've done better, like implementing a Yellow Shard Tutor, Egg Move Tutor, Rare Candy Distributor, etc., but I just don't have the knowledge for that sort of thing. I did try to look into that sort of stuff, but it was just beyond my comprehension. I really did try my best with this though and I did manage to create an end product that still generally fits with what I was going for and I hope that my best was enough.
    - I would highly recommend to go in the trainer order listed in the Trainer Doc. There are some optional areas like the Desert Resort, Lostlorn Forest, Relic Castle, etc. plus it will help make sure you didn't miss any relevant trainers. Also, the trainers scale level in the order that is within the Doc.

The Patch was made using xDelta, and you should be able to use xDelta to apply the patch.

Credits: RobbieRaymond69420 (Everything); this was a one man project. I did all the ROM Hacking myself as well as the play testing.

The Patch for the ROM and all of the Docs are in a folder HERE! If anyone gives this a try, I really hope that you have fun with this! I wasn't even sure if I wanted to release this at first and actually held off on releasing it for a long time (I made this in mid Spring and am finally deciding to publicly release it in late Fall). This was a huge passion project for me; if even one person got enjoyment out of this, then my efforts would not be for nothing. Thank you guys for reading, and enjoy!

Update: I did an experiment with someone and they were able to successfully patch it with the version of the ROM I own. However, when they found a ROM of the same name on the internet and downloaded it, it was not able to be patched. The CRC-32 identity of the ROM I used is the following: F8485310
From what I've been told, that could possibly help people find the correct version of the ROM. Also to note that the title of the ROM is Pokemon Black 2 Version (USA, Europe) (NDSi Enhanced) [Like mentioned before, someone had a ROM file of that same name and it didn't work, but it should lead in the right direction alongside the CRC-32]. Hopefully this helps people to be able to find the version of the ROM that is patchable.

Looks cool! Would it be possible to replace the NPC names of the characters they are supposed to e? Or even switching out the NPC sprites for the real trainer's sprites?

I wanted to change the trainer names, but the program I was using for trainer editing didn't allow for it, nor do I know how to change the NPC sprites. I would've done both if I had the knowledge to do so. However, the doc that details all the trainers does show which trainer on which route corresponds to which boss trainer they're supposed to represent, so as long as you use that doc as a sort of guide, you should be able to get by okay. They are also ordered typically in the order they appear on the more linear routes. Though on less linear routes that have multiple of the same trainer type it gets a bit confusing, but if you run into that, you could just save state before you start the fight to make sure you prepped for the right trainer.

I'd love to play this but the rom you used is hard to find. I have tried multiple and given up. I know I can't be the only one. I have patched other roms no problem with delta.

can you post your rom in the post, since i cannot find any rom that can use the patch..

you can post the CRC hash of the rom you used at least

i believe the quickest way to find it is using say, 7zip or NanaZip
Is that the string of numbers and letters that appears after checking the ROM's CRC-64 via 7zip? Also if so, how would that be able to help anyone?
