Yeah, true. Thanks. This coming issue would be the perfect time to release the details on whatever the game is, theres only about a week left to see if it'll be in this months Coro Coro. If not, December should be the very latest.

Im trying not to get my hopes up too much since whenever they say theres a 'new game' I always get excited thinking it may be the RS remakes but I just get disappointed when its something else lol.
 
Well the fact that they have revealed the information of a new game being released in Spring, that's not all they are going to give, they need to give a name, screenshots, videos etc.
If anyone is going to do that it's going to be Corocoro, they did with HGSS & BW. Don't get your hopes up though because like I say it easily could be a spin-off.

Maybe this hint tells that it will be released in summer (Which I totally hope not!).
 
If anything Hoenn will be released in the Fall (around November) that marks its 10 year anniversary that's assuming Nintendo are sticking to that pattern.

Well we can't really base a pattern off of one release(HGSS) with the whole 10 year anniversary, as FrLg were released after 8 years, but I guess we can hope that they'll use the 10 year mark now with any remakes.

I still wonder if they plan on using the remixed Lilycove version from your Villa in Platinum, it's really nice.

That's what I'm thinking... it would make much more sense to do it like that but then that would mean we'd be getting D/P remakes in 2016. However I think they will stop at Ruby & Sapphire, the graphics for DPPT are fine for me.

I think they will use that but give it more of an upbeat BW mix into it.

But then the graphics would be not fine.
 
But I don't really see graphics evolving much further, not for at least a good few years, besides it's just taking it too far remake after remake after remake after remake.. it would be good to stop at RS because the graphics are in need of a revamp.
 
Some people grew up in the sinnoh region, they would love to see remakes, like some
of us who grew up in the hoenn region.

But now I guess it's too early to talk about the D/P remakes.
 
I just wanna find out what this new game is already so I can stop getting my hopes up if its not the RS remakes. If it isnt them, at least theres still a chance they'll be released in 2012 since Spring is an early release.

You realise that in the best case scenario they're not going to revist D/P for at least another five years?

Five years is an incredibly long time in portable electronics.
 
When Generation VI finally starts, the graphics in Sinnoh will most likely pale in comparison and will need a remake. It's easy to say that they look fine now, but you have no idea what graphics the next generation will have so they could easily outpace D/P/Pt to the point that they look as old as R/S look now.
 
That's true, granted that Sinnoh will be 8 years old (wow) they may be in need of a revamp depending on how advanced the graphics are in Gen VI.
 
I wonder if they'll keep the same animations for the sprites, or make new ones. Or make new sprites altogether. It'd be interesting to see what they do as far as sprites with the sprites now being fully animated.
 
B/W's animated sprites were too much work for very little payoff. I imagine they've been thinking hard about how they're going to approach graphics from now on.
 
i remember in black and white you had 2 rivals (cheren and bianca) just like in ruby and sapphire you had 2 rivals (wally and may)
coincidentally, one is a boy and the other is a girl
