What device are you using to play/emulate? Use VBA-m for PC and John GBA (Lite) for Mobile devices.

I switched to John GBA and it works now. Why does this happen on other emulators?

Yeah there is a prob with other emulators. IDK why tho

But essentially use the latest version of VBA-M for PC and john gba(lite) for android,
those are tested to work.

I downloaded it to try the game. It's in a .gba file instead of an .ips file. Isn't sharing of gba files illegal?

I don't know if it's only me having this bug but everytime I try to play the game, my character's name defaults to Crimson for Male and Scarlet for Female...

ASDBuddy you should insert some Gen4 Pokes , Like , the pre-evos and the post-evos , I personally like them :D .

Will possibly do that much later into the game as I wanted to keep the battle mechanics as close to gen 3 as possible. :)

Great hack, i'm playing it right now. Hope it'll get fairy type, special/physical splits, more moves and pokemon.

definitely PSS will be there in future releases.
considering adding pre and post evos from later gen
I did consider fairy type
I may add it later but it's highly unlikely (wanna stay true to the mechanics and pokes till gen 3 :) )

ALSO which pokemon in particular has the position in battle seem not right? Please tell me so I could fix it ASAP :)

Weedle's position and the purple battle background (i dont remember) is not right
And I had some bugs:
1. The game usually frozen when player go from route 4 to Cerulean City
2. And i'm stuck at Bill's house. When you talk to Nidoran, the game frozen
