If you trade a SG pokemon to an unedited version of the game, its going to replace its location of the area that you met the pokemon, remember zel is doing off the islands, so lake rage didnt really exist in FR, so he would used *whatever* for Lake Rage. Also if you traded your starter you would noticed that is saids "met on Island1" so its pretty obvious.

EDIT: Thats good example of what your said, it might be Water Path that replaces Lake Rage.

You misunderstood me. I meant that the Lighthouse in Johto should keep that RSE battle music in the background, whilst the trainers there would have the FR default track playing during battle. Then in Kanto, any normal trainer battle should have the RSE track, too. In the original Gold it was the same IIRC, Kanto and Johto had different trainer battle music.

True, the kanto theme in Gold had a different remix, so maybe zel should used your idea. Or why not the other way around, so in Johto, RSE music, then in kanto its regular, idk. I think your idea is great though! then again the RSE music in the Lighthouse

Alright, I caught a Magikarp at Lake of Rage, and while trading, I noticed some weird things, but I don't need to mention that.

Anyway, he was right, and I will post a screeny. (Even if he was right, I got the Bulbasaur I wanted from Fire Red, :P)

Just when ever using vbalink with the SG with FR, dont use the union room wireless club thing, i had bad experiences with it, and it screwed my save once.
 
About the shiny script, at serebii forums, they have a hack walk through going. I just now remembered it, it got mostly ideas for hacks and how to get some of the scripting done faster. I dunno if it'll tell how to do it, i didn't read it all the way, but if it's in there it'll be worth reading a few pages.
 
Alright, about the weird thingy, which Deokishisu explained the reason behind this. While trading, the sprites were the same but different. Look at the screens.

Now, as you can see, they do something similar as if you were trading from Fire Red to Ruby or Sapphire. But like Deokishisu said, it's because Zel replaced the hero sprite, so it shows it as that.
 
If thats going to fix the shiny gyarados problem, then hey, why not PM the link to zel so he can see it.

Well yah zel killed the main FR boy to replace it with a gold overworld sprite.

3.5 has been out for a while. And 3.5 and 3.5 X are the only two attachements there, that's what you want to dowload.
 
First off I gotta give MAD props to Zel for making this game. Such dedication and hard work is something we are all very thankful for.

This game is pretty fun and I enjoy it a lot as it brings back fond memories of when I played it. There are a few lil glitches that I thought was fun to mention.

-GLITCHES-
1. The Ho-Oh sprite doesnt disappear even after u beat it. AND if u use the WALK THRU WALL CODE and go up to it, a funny thing happens. HO OH will act as Nurse Joy and HEAL your POKEMON. Ahahaha man did I get a laugh outta that one! :p

2. The Dark Cave has ONE exit (near the top) which when u exit, u pop up on the upper floor of the PC in Violet Town.

=Questions=
1. Once Zel figures out how to activate SHINY Pokemon, I think it would be good to have SHINY Trainers. I have a whole bunch in my sig (all legit) and thought it be cool to battle someone with strong SHinies in either the Battle Tower or some HIDDEN trainer at MT Silver or something. Although it would be cool if I could be some Legendary Shiny trainer, it doesnt have to be me and thought the idea of fighting ANY shiny trainers would be coool. How FRICKIN SWEET would it be to fight someone with a shiny team of ALL EVEELUTIONS, or Lugia, Groundon, Kyo, Ray, Mew, Mewtwo (I have the lv 100 stats too obviously)

p.s This is my first post so HI! Im a big fan of Pokemon obviously and even make them outta clay in my Deviantart XD
