wow this is a fun game! when i went in to the forest i found a pikachu and it said something about bolt?
Yeah i just saw that. Darkmage, um, When i met the pikachu, it bombed out with the error we all been through:

The file bolt1 could not be opened.

Crap, yet another file to add? Alright... alright...
After I resolve the virus thing... *sighs*
So much to do...

It would be easy to isolate weather events to seasons, as well as increasing chances of say, rain in spring. That's going to be my next persuit (after bolt1, virus, and major battle glitch thingy)

I just tried to upload the image, but the dimensions are too big. I guess you'll just habve to wait for the next update *sighs*

The file bolt is in the RM2k3 RTP folder under Battle, just copy paste it into the games Battle folder

RMk3 doesnt really work without the RTP though, but the RTP is usually linked at the same site you get RM2k3, unless the link is broken or you bought the actual program

2k or 2k3 don't work without RTP. However, if you're just playing the game, my goal is that you shouldn't need to download that huge RTP file. I posted how to do that on the help thread. It has to do with the harmony.dll file and adding an extra line of script to RPG_RT.ini, not to meniton including all the files.

Yes you could do that, but some people tend to sometimes forget 1 file, and that can cause the game to crash, i tried this on an RM2k game last year.. the creator didnt put in all of the files, and they werent RTP files.. so in the end i just gave up trying to add all of the files

I missed one file in my installer, but when i added it in and tried to start up, it said something about vehicles and died.. i didnt even use vehicles.. oO wierd

It doesn't matter what is actually used in the game... if it is mentioned in your database, it's used. The most perfectly convenient example is the vehichles. They are in the database with sprites, but just 'cause you don't use them in the game itself doesn't mean the game won't look for them. If you want to save memory for this make a blank charset and use it for all the things you don't need.

i was goin to check out your game but i really dont have time to download that cuz its like 14.6 mb's and
i have a slow dial up and it would take all day... i am new to the forums and stuff like this so i am just getting used to posting messages and stuff.
