Wow! I'm surprised we're seeing pictures of the B/W Arc so soon. I thought it would take longer than this to get started.... But I'm not complaining!

They're still working on Platinum and HG/SS, though. They'll be doing three arcs now, practically all at the same time. O.O

I have a feeling N will become a Lance clone of some sort, seeing as they have almost the same beliefs. Wait. I haven't been too up-to-date with the HG/SS arc, but isn't Lance missing? And Giovanni, too? Maybe they've all teamed up to create their own evil force! xD

Very good point. I hope they don't reuse the plotline...and I'd like it if Cheren and Belle were bad guys...so stole the 'dex, cloned it so they both won.

Although I guess they could link Lance into it somehow...like how at the end of Emerald arc, Sird mentioned Galactic indirectly.....

I guess they're continuing the starter pattern, Black gets Porkabu. I'm assuming White would get Smugleaf (THEIR LEGEND DATES BACK TO THE 12TH CENTURY /Soul Eater reference) and...I dunno who'd get Mijumaru.

But urrrrgh. Kusaka and Yamamoto (I'll prolly be calling them Kusakamoto from now on) are already working on two arcs (HGSS and Platinum). Speaking of, I can't wait 'til their next update. =w=

i hope HGSS ends soon is boring compare to the other remake where NEW THINGS WHERE THAT NEW THINGS the only new thing HGSS has is the Pokelaton stadium and the Safari Zone. other then that is the same game with new CG.Now I want to see Platina battle oh and for those that didn't know Lady Catlin is one of the elite four in Isshu so you can't be surprise if we see Platina there.

^u^ Well, you can participate in the discussion we are having in the spoilers, but I have to warn you, they have ALOT of information that may spoil alot of things for future arcs, so please discuss them in spoilers as well. If you don't want to look under the spoilers, that's fine. We have some members who don't like being spoiled.

It was kinda the same with the Fr/Lg arc, the only new things in the remakes were the Sevvi Islands and the resurgence of Team Rocket. Although, I don't think the HG/SS arc would take a long time. It will probably be a 3 book long arc.

1. hm, my favorite character is without a doubt blue. I don't have a pure reason, but I just like him.

2. I hope I dont die if i say this, but I don't have a favorite paring in the story. It just doesn't seem to match in the story. (I have died on many forums due to saying this .-.)

3. Um, yea, I haven't read most arc...so I don't have a great variety. Probably yellow, (figured out that I am in gold/silver arc). I do need to catch up a lot, but I don't mind much spoilers, it doesn't affect me.

4. Yes, I love the manga, I can only read it during my spare time (If I have any), or when I am bored.

More like rivals.
I know in game, both of them are your rivals, except that Cheren chooses the starter with the type advantage, while Belle chooses the starter with the type disadvantage.

I can't tell how old they are though... To me, they look between 11-13 ish.

also, about Blue, she looked more like she was about 12 in the RGB arc (not including the pokeb00bs)

I really don't want to have to skip spoilers, but since BW is apparently really good and I'd like to not cram my head full of plot before I get the game (like I usually do, coughcough), I'm...gonna have to read between the lines, aren't I? With my eyes crossed. While I tap dance, on the ceiling.

...I'm blaming the sugar high.

Oh, but that young man with the wavy brown hair does look like a good boy to ship pair off fangirl over take over as protagonist for Gen V. :>

HGSS: I'd like to see Manaphy. I'm still holding to my theory that it is important for something, and it being an egg and Gold being the Breeder seems as good a plot hook as any.

She probably gained Elite 4 status with the Isshu region this generation, or she already was one and it was never known at the time. Caitlin is not a Frontier Brain, however--her butler Darach is--she's only the owner (princess) of the Battle Castle.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that! Everyone keeps saying it's the original Gameboy, but I think that's a bunch of nonsense. For some reason Game Freak (and Nintendo) is imitating their competition--but then, who isn't. ;)

I think it's just seeing the new Pokemon and characters. The style to me has been changing from RS to FRLG to E to DPPtHGSS and now BW. Right now it looks similar to DPPtHGSS.

Hello, everyone! I do believe that I'm new to this group, but rest assured I do know a lot about Adventures!

All right, before I say anything, I'm actually not a regular reader of the manga, mostly because it isn't released where I live/is too expensive for me to buy, so all the reading I have done of it I have done via scanlations. As well, I have mostly skipped certain arcs and parts without reading them, and simply read the plot synopsis of those parts -- so I won't know exactly what you guys are talking about some of the time, lol. Rest assured, though, I am genuinely interested in the whole club and manga although I haven't read all of it (and I haven't read anything past Volume 32).

With that being said, I'm going to answer the questions that another member previously answered, lol.

1. Who is your favorite character in the manga?
Red. No one else even comes close. I kinda like Green (male), too. Gold is also awesome, and I really like Kris, even if she is mostly a side character.

2. Favorite pairing?
Red x Green (male), closely followed by Ruby x Sapphire. I elaborated on why I like it in the pairing discussion thread, if you're curious.

3. Favorite arc (so far)?
FR/LG.

4. Any fond memories of the manga?
Mostly my avatar. ;D That and right before that lady makes them battle each other in the FR/LG arc. I also liked any Ruby x Sapphire moments back when I was reading that arc, and the league battle between Red and Green.

Anyway, I might just be a lurker in here, but ya know, consider me a member! XD

You've got a point...but I personally think it may actually be supposed to be an original GameBoy, as due to this feature on the 3DS where you can download and play older games...it would be appropriate, as no doubt R/B/Y/G/S/C will be among the featured games...
