    =====Plot=====

Imagine a Pokemon world far darker than the one you know. The evils of the world are far more sinister and far more dangerous. In this world, the criminal entity known as Team Rocket was far more malevolent. Their endeavors in the fields of genetic manipulation far surpassed the creation of Mewtwo, though Mewtwo was perhaps their greatest achievement. Their manipulations of Pokemon and their genetic code were monstrous. They created terrible abominations, splicing together Pokemon and human DNA with often disastrous results. Luckily, several young trainers managed to uncover the identity of Team Rocket's boss, Giovanni the Viridian City Gym Leader, and were able to put a stop to his plans by destroying key Team Rocket facilities throughout Kanto with the help of the Kanto Police.

Team Rocket attempted a revival several years later in the Johto region. Their experiments at the Lake of Rage and Mahogany Town let loose an onslaught of attacks from rampaging Gyarados that destroyed Mahogany Town. A team of Pokemon trainers managed to deactivate the towers that broadcasted the experimental signal, and the Gyarados calmed down and returned to the lake. Team Rocket then attempted to capture Celebi and harness its power to traverse time, but they were thwarted by the Pokemon trainers before any real plans could come together and Celebi escaped into the timestream.

In the Hoenn, Team Aqua and Team Magma's ambitions resulted in the deaths of thousands due to droughts and floods. The battle between Groudon and Kyogre was tremendous. In the process, Mt. Chimney erupted and destroyed Lavaridge Town; Pacifidlog Town was wiped out by a title wave; and Sootopolis City was decimated in the final moments of the battle. Only the intervention of Rayquaza, who managed to defeat both Groudon and Kyogre and send them retreating back into hibernation. But Rayquaza was gripped by the heat of battle and flew to Mt. Pyre. There, Rayquaza obliterated the mountain in a fit of rage before calming and returning to the Sky Pillar.

In Sinnoh, the members of Team Galactic sought to harness the powers of Dialga and Palkia to remake the world in their image. They captured the three lake spirits--Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf--and used their life energies to create the Red Chain that they would use to control Palkia and Dialga, killing the lake spirits in the process. The spatial and temporal disturbances caused by Palkia and Dialga angered the renegade Giratina, who emerged from the Torn World and attacked Team Galactic. A battle between the three great dragons commenced. The battle decimated the nearby Celestic Town. The battle finally subsided when a young trainer summoned Arceus with the Azure Flute. The Alpha Pokemon quelled the three dragons with a flash of power and returned them to their own separate dimensions before vanishing.

Team Rocket. Team Aqua. Team Magma. Team Galactic. In the last decade, these criminal organizations have wreaked havoc upon the world of Pokemon. Their goals have varied from monetary gain, to global domination, to global geography manipulation, to the manipulation of time and space themselves. And they've very nearly succeeded in their goals; every time, it was but a twist of fate that a few random trainers were able to overcome the odds and foil their plans.

But for S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Hazard Intervention, Espionage Logistics Directorate), the global peace-keeping and counterterrorist organization, depending on a few, random, young Pokemon trainers was unacceptable. After Team Galactic's near-success in using the time-altering and space-altering Pokemon (Dialga and Palkia) to recreate the world, S.H.I.E.L.D. set the Ultimates Initiative into motion. In conjunction with the world's Pokemon Leagues, the Ultimates would be S.H.I.E.L.D.'s elite team dedicated to thwarting the plans of the above-mentioned teams, and any other teams that might emerge.

Now there are rumors that a new criminal organization has surfaced. While the name of this organization remains unknown (for now it is called Team X), S.H.I.E.L.D. intelligence suspects that the organization is seeking out a number of Legendary Pokemon. "Team X" has also stolen the Red and Blue orbs from the wreckage of Mt. Pyre, the Rainbow Wing and the Silver Wing from Ecruteak City, and several ancient scrolls from museums; these texts belonged to a long-lost civilization and pertain to an ancient prophecy. For what purpose, no one knows, but "Team X" is slowly growing in power and influence. It's time for the Ultimates to show their worth.

You're one of the Ultimates, elite agents and individuals that have been brought into S.H.I.E.L.D. to counter the efforts of criminal organizations like Team Rocket, Aqua, Magma, and Galactic. You've been assigned to S.H.I.E.L.D. by one branch of the Pokemon League (Kanto/Johto/Hoenn/Sinnoh) to serve in the Ultimates. Now it's you're job to handle the remnants of these criminal organizations while also searching for clues about "Team X".

    ======

    The Teams:

Team Rocket: The oldest and most well-organized of the known criminal organizations. Team Rocket has had their hands in almost every plot in Kanto and Johto. Their greatest accomplishment was the creation of Mewtwo from the DNA of Mew. But they lost control of Mewtwo he hasn't been seen since. Team Rocket also attempted to capture Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, the Legendary Birds, and the Legendary Beasts. After being foiled at every turn by a group of young trainers, the boss Giovanni disbanded Team Rocket and went into hiding.

Team Aqua and Team Magma: Team Aqua sought the super-ancient Kyogre to attempt to expand the seas and oceans, claiming that since life came from the waters, more water would be better for the planet. Team Magma sought the super-ancient Groudon to attempt to expand the landmasses, claiming that more land would allow for more places to live and more life to flourish. But both teams lost control of the super-ancient Pokemon, who fought each other in a titanic battle. It was Rayquaza who finally arrived to calm the two Pokemon and send them back to slumber. Aqua and Magma's leaders then retreated.

Team Galactic: The most recent of the criminal organizations, Team Galactic was run by a man named Cyrus who sought out Dialga and Palkia so that he could reorder time and space to make himself the supreme deity of Earth. Had it not been for the interference of a few young trainers, then Cyrus would have succeeded and we would be living in a vastly different world today. After being foiled, Cyrus vowed revenge.

    ======

S.H.I.E.L.D.: The Strategic Hazard Intervention, Espionage Logistics Directorate, is a global peacekeeping and counterterrorist organization that was formed many years ago to attempt to combat the threats of various criminal organizations. They met with great success until Giovanni took charge of Team Rocket. Giovanni was able to outwit and outmaneuver S.H.I.E.L.D. at every turn. However, when he disbanded Team Rocket, S.H.I.E.L.D. caught a break and managed to dismantle all that remained of Team Rocket. S.H.I.E.L.D. then sought out Steven Stone, the former Hoenn League Champion, to aid them against other criminal organizations. He began to improve S.H.I.E.L.D.'s capabilities and was then promoted to Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. It was Steven that first developed the Ultimates Initiative with the purpose of combating the various criminal organizations that exist throughout the world.

The Ultimates: The Ultimates are an elite team run by S.H.I.E.L.D. and advised in part by the Pokemon League. In a sense, they are superheroes to the public. They are dedicated to defending the world from organizations like Team Rocket, Aqua, Magma, and Galactic. The Ultimates are a unique group of individuals from all over the Pokemon world, and they each have their own unique abilities. Some of them are the unwitting end-results of Team Rocket's genetic experiments, granting them phenomenal or horrific powers and abilities: that of Pokemon themselves. Others have formed mystical bonds with powerful Pokemon and have been granted supernatural powers. Still others are regular human beings, but extraordinarily powerful Pokemon trainers and masters.

    Name: Phoenix Delacroix (Codename: Nova)

    Gender: Male

    Age: 25

Physical Description: Phoenix stands just over six feet tall. He has brown eyes and brown hair that reaches just past his shoulders and is usually tied back in a ponytail. He is in excellent physical condition. He has an incredible physique and toned musculature. Because of his experimentation by Team Rocket, Phoenix carries all the cuts and scars that go along with it. His entire body is a mural of scars that refuse to fade. Phoenix generally doesn't wear any one outfit all the time, but he is known to wear his SHIELD uniform on many occasions. The uniform consists of plain black boots and pants, a white shirt, and a black leather jacket with the SHIELD (a stylized golden-bird) emblem over the right breast. He seems to exude power, pure burning white-hot power, even when standing still or laying back. He exists with a supernatural intensity, as if a sun is burning just behind his eyes.

Personality: Phoenix comes of as an unfriendly, tough-as-nails type of person, but that is quite far from the truth. Phoenix simply knows what his job is and strives to do it well. He's friendly, but his former torture and experimentation has left him untrusting of most people, so he often prefers solitude to the company of strangers. Even so, once one has gained Phoenix's trust, he will stand by them until the end. Phoenix is powerful, he's among the most powerful of superhumans and he knows it. Phoenix isn't afraid to let enemies know that either. If it benefits a situation, he's perfectly happy to let an enemy hit him just to show how durable and unaffected he is. He also isn't above unnecessary shows of brute physical force, going so far as to purposely miss a punch in order to break something else and get into his opponent's head. Phoenix is intensity incarnate, always living as if there is a sun burning behind his eyes, yet there are times when he seems to be at peace with the world and the universe. He is perfectly happy to spend hours on end floating high in the sky basking in the warm glow of the sun, far above the noise of the earth below.

    Region From: Kanto

Region Currently In: Kanto, Indigo Plateau

History: Phoenix is believed to have been the illegitimate son of former Pokemon League Champion Felix Luther. However, there is no proof of this, as Phoenix's records were destroyed. He lived with his mother, but was orphaned at a young age when she died of ovarian cancer, and Phoenix was taken into an orphanage. He adjusted well and became very independent. He would roam around Celadon City (where the orphanage was) and get into all sorts of trouble. On one unfortunate occasion, Phoenix witnessed Team Rocket Grunts slipping into the basement of the Celadon Game Corner. He followed them and saw the entire operation. This brought him to the attention of Team Rocket Executives.

A short time later, he was taken by undercover Team Rocket agents posing as a married couple. He was wary of them at first, but didn't suspect them of any underhanded motives and went with them. Phoenix was brought to Team Rocket scientists. There, he was subjected to a battery of genetic tests and experiments that augmented Phoenix at the molecular level. He was experimented on for five years before Team Rocket was finally finished. The tests left his mind and memory in shambles. Phoenix was unable to truly decide his future course of action and was coerced into working for Team Rocket for several years. His involvement in Team Rocket's operations led to much success for the criminal organization, and Phoenix was even put on the force tasked with recovering Mewtwo.

However, after each mission, more of Phoenix's mind and personality began to emerge, and his memories slowly returned. When enough of his own personality emerged, Phoenix managed to break free and escape. He spent the next few years on the run, trying to evade Team Rocket's psychics and other monstrous creations. When Team Rocket finally disbanded, Phoenix caught a break and went into hiding. However, he was later located by S.H.I.E.L.D. and brought into the organization as part of the task force that would later become the Ultimates.

    Class: Scientific Experiment

Ability: Due to several highly dangerous experiments by Team Rocket scientists, Phoenix has been augmented at the molecular level. The scientists created a gene-altering serum derived from stem cells of several powerful Pokemon that creates a phase-shift in his molecules, causing each atom to step an instant ahead of the current time line. The serum induces a photosynthetic reaction, resulting in a hyper state of consciousness and bestowing him with a wide array of super-human abilities. Most of his powers and their limits are still unknown, but so far he has been shown to be capable of unassisted flight and has demonstrated a high level of superhuman durability. The full extent of his strength has yet to be determined, and his enhanced physiology generates far less bodily toxins, granting him much greater stamina. He is able to fly and run at speeds well exceeding the sound barrier. His hearing is highly acute and he possesses "Flash Vision" in which his eyes emit as yet unknown radiation which can see through solid objects and generate intense heat capable of vaporizing organic matter. Nova can also project energy fields, control light, and has limited psychic and mental abilities, that he uses for holding his physical powers together, though he is unable to use these mental powers the way other psychics could.

    =====

Name: Victoria "Vicki" Meyers (Codename: Scarlet Sword)

    Gender: Female

    Age: 24

Physical Description: Vicki is quite an attractive young woman. She stands at 5' 8" and has an athletic build, somewhat like a dancer or a swimsuit model: toned and lean, but retains a very feminine figure. Vicki has bright green eyes and long red hair that she'll most often tie back or put up in a messy bun. Vicki will sometimes wear glasses, though they're only needed for reading. She's not truly partial to any one particular style of clothes, and is equally comfortable in sweatpants and a tank-top as she is in jeans and a t-shirt, or a formal business suit.

Personality: Vicki is a very kind and outgoing person. She has little trouble meeting and interacting with new people and/or Pokemon. But she does have a competitive side and won't hesitate to accept a challenge. She believes primarily in watching out for her own self-interests, and puts the wellbeing of herself, her Pokemon, and her journey ahead of everything else. Due to her never knowing her father and being the product of a one night stand, Vicki has developed a need to prove herself, and can be upset when insulted about this. She also refuses to form romantic relationships with men, fearing that what happened to her mother will happen to her as well. However, she knows she's attractive and isn't above using her looks to influence people around her. She does have a certain level of respect for herself, though, and won't allow her manipulations to go to far. She draws a fine line between influencing a situation and acting...sl*ty.

    Region From: Johto, Olivine City

Region Currently In: Kanto, Lavender Town

History: Vicki grew up in Olivine City in Johto. Her mother was a well-known Pokemon scientist who specialized in Unown decoding and research. Vicki never knew her father, who was a sailor. The story goes that her father and mother met randomly and only long enough for him to get her pregnant. For much of her childhood, Vicki dreamed about one day meeting her father and of him returning to Olivine City to make them a real family. However, he never came back, and her mother never seemed to interested in finding him.

Because of this, Vicki formed a strong bond with her mother, and the two came to share a love of Pokemon. Vicki's mother would take her on many expeditions to the Ruins of Alph, the Tanoby Chambers, and the Solaceon Ruins. With this traveling, Vicki gained a great appreciation for the world and for Pokemon, as well as a burning desire to see more of it. After a great deal of effort to convince her mother, Vicki was allowed to set off on her own journey. She immediately headed for Goldenrod City where she obtained her Eevee from Bill.

With her new Pokemon, Vicki set off to conquer the Johto League and prove to herself that she was more than just the result of the loveless relationship between her parents. She did rather well. She breezed through the first seven Johto gyms before facing Clair in Blackthorne City. Vicki was absolutely crushed by the dragon master and was humiliated. Vowing to beat Clair the next time, Vicki spent close to a year in training with her Pokemon, and when she returned to Blackthorne City, she emerged victorious over Claire.

However, when Team Rocket attempted its revival in Johto, she was caught in Mahogany Town, but was unable to stop the town's destruction. She was defeated by Team Rocket Specialists and all her Pokemon--save for her Umbreon--were stolen. Vicki tracked Team Rocket to Goldenrod City and attempted to reacquire her Pokemon. However, she was caught up in Team Rocket's effort to capture Celebi. Together with several other Trainers, she managed to thwart their plans, but not before the Specialists who stole her Pokemon slipped away.

Vicki was then approached by a group of Pokemon called the "Four of Swords," who offered her great power. They tasked her with the continued protection of the world from Team Rocket and other such organizations. Vicki gladly accepted, knowing that she could use her powers to track down those her stolen Pokemon. She has spent the last several years traveling around Johto and Kanto investigating the various Team Rocket hideouts in hopes of finding some clue to her Pokemons' whereabouts. She's now in Lavender Town, investigating the Pokemon Tower…

    Class: Mystic Avatar

Ability: Vicki is the mystic avatar of a council of Pokemon warriors known as the "Four of Swords," consisting of a Scyther, Scizor, Skarmory, and Gallade. The council granted Vicki phenomenal powers. She is an expert martial artist, proficient in armed and unarmed combat. Vicki is incredibly fast and agile: able to move and fight at the same speed as the Pokemon that granted her her abilities. She also has a limited degree of superhuman strength. She has been given a set of mystical red armor (modeled after Scizor and Skarmory) that is lightweight and superbly durable. The armor also grants her the power of flight. The "Four of Swords" also bestowed Vicki with limited psychic abilities that she uses in conjunction with her other abilities to significantly raise the level of her fighting skills. Her mystic powers also allow her to manifest a pair of swords reminiscient of a Scyther's arm blades.

    Pokemon:

    Name/Nickname: Romulus
    Species: Umbreon
    Gender: Male
Description and Personality: Romulus was Vicki's first Pokemon. He is a fun-loving and gentle Pokemon, though in battle, he has a nearly unmatched level of ferocity. He spends his time traveling outside his Pokeball beside Vicki, and only enters his Pokeball when severely weakened. He is her only remaining battle-capable Pokemon, though since Vicki obtained her abilities Romulus has spent much less time in official Pokemon battles and serves more as Vicki's support.

    =====

    Name: Riley Abrams
    Gender: Male
    Age: 24
Physical Description: Riley stands 5'10" tall. He has deep blue hair and blue eyes. He is rather slender, though his Aura training has allowed him to develop a toned physique. His usual attire consists of black slacks, a black shirt, a blue suit jacket, and a blue hat. He also wears a gold necklace.
Personality: Riley is a focused but rather laid-back person. He has his own goals and desires and goes after them with great devotion. However, the pursuits of others are less urgent. He isn't lazy or exceptionally selfish, but because of his privileged upbringing, he likes to see to his own interests before he sees to the interests of others. However, he is fiercely loyal to his friends, especially his Lucario
    Region From: Sinnoh, Canalave City
    Region Currently In: Sinnoh, traveling
History: Riley was raised in a rather wealthy family from Canalave City. His father owned a shipping company and made his fortune there, shipping goods to and from Sinnoh. Riley and his family would often vacation in Celestic Town and Solaceon Town during the summer, and Riley and his Riolu would spend their days exploring the various ruins. Once, while visiting the Celestic Town Historical Research Center, Riley overheard a lecture on the mysterious phenomenon of "Aura." Riley was intrigued by this, and spent several years researching Aura in literature and ancient texts. During high school, he even got an internship at the Celestic Town Historical Research Center where he worked alongside Professor Rowan, who was trying to find a scientific application for Aura. During this internship, they learned that Riley's Riolu was especially in tune with Aura, and used this as a starting point to learn as much as they could.

In one experiment gone awry, Rowan, Riley, and Riolu actually managed to conjure up Riolu's Aura power, and amplify it with a special wave-enhancing machine so that they could study it further. However, while the machine worked perfectly, Riolu's control faltered, and his Aura raged out of control. His power exploded and destroyed the lab, but also sparked his evolution into Lucario. Riley, however, was infused with some of Lucario's abilities, allowing him to wield Aura energies as well. After this development, both Riley and Lucario continued to work with Rowan to better understand their abilities.

Riley began researching the ancient order of Aura Guardians at the Canalave Library and in the ancient ruins located throughout Sinnoh. He learned that the Aura Guardians were Aura-users who traveled throughout the land performing good deeds and passing on their skills to others who possessed the innate ability to manipulate Aura. Riley became determined to revive this mighty order and set out with Lucario to follow in their footsteps. He has since traveled across the world, studying with the greatest of martial arts masters: Koga, Kiyo, Bruno, Chuck, Brawly, and Maylene.

    Class: Mystic Avatar/Scientific Experiment
Ability: It isn't truly known whether Riley's abilities stem from a scientific accident, or originated from some innate ability that was unlocked during said accident. What is known is that Riley has the ability to manipulate "Aura," the essence of every living creature. With this power, Riley can manifest several abilities:
    - Ability to read memories and minds.
    - Ability to "sense" other Auras and view surroundings even with a blindfold, also allows users to view through some objects.
    - Projection of one's Aura; such as to create barriers or attacks, or to increase one's own physical abilities. It can also be used to transfer Aura to others but that method can be fatal to the user.
    - Limited telepathy (the ability to project one's thoughts or read some else's surface thoughts).
    - Because Riley and Lucario share the same Aura wavelength, they have the unique ability to merge their Auras and physical forms together. When using this technique, they share one body (either that of Riley or Lucario), though the physiology of the host body changes slightly to better accomidate the new presence within. In this new form their Aura manipulation abilities are twice as powerful, and their Aura is much stronger.
Both Riley and Lucario are extremely skilled martial artists, as Riley has studied under the greatest of martial arts masters in the world. The practice of martial arts helps to focus and expand their Aura.

    Pokemon:

    Name/Nickname: Caesar
    Species: Lucario
    Gender: Male
Description and Personality: Caesar is Riley's devoted friend and partner. He is a strong and capable fighter, fully focused on the task at hand. Caesar is very serious and driven, serving as a contrast to Riley's more relaxed nature. Caesar also recognizes when Riley is being too stubborn or self-absorbed, and is often quick to point this out and set Riley straight. In this way, while Riley is the "older brother" and caretaker, Caesar is the grounded voice of reason and logic. Even so, when it comes down to it, Caesar will sacrifice anything and everything for Riley. Caesar is rather unique amongst other Lucario: because of the extensive training of his Aura, he is capable of wielding the mythical "Aura Storm" attack.

    =====

    Name: Reuben McKnight (Codename: Omega)

    Gender: Male

    Age: 26

Physical Description: Omega is a physical powerhouse. He stands nearly seven feet tall and weighs approximately 285 pounds, all of which is pure muscle. Omega has stormy blue eyes, has long white hair. He appears to wear an ancient set of armor. The armor itself is themed after the legendary dragon Rayquaza, but is stark white instead of green, and electric blue instead of yellow. The armor covers his arms, chest and shoulders, feet, legs, thighs, and waist. At his joints, he is covered with what appears to be a super-advanced fabric: a very flexible and strong kevlar-like material that allows for protection and a wide range of movement.

Personality: Omega is a formidable personality. He is headstrong, stubborn, but focused to the extreme. He is a very proud person and has supreme confidence in himself and his abilities. He is believed to be mentally disturbed, thinking himself to be a Rayquaza, the son of the legendary Rayquaza that quelled the fighting between Groudon and Kyogre years ago. He has the utmost belief in this origin of himself, even when every other source shows this not to be true. He speaks strongly, in a somewhat archaic tone, often referencing the end of the world, and seems to know things about the world's mythology that would be otherwise unknown.

    Region From: Hoenn

Region Currently In: Hoenn, Sky Pillar

History: He claims he is Omega, the son of legendary sky deity, Rayquaza, who calmed the battle between Groudon and Kyogre thousands of years ago. He claims that he was sent to Earth by his father to protect the world from the evils of both humankind and Pokemon. Official records say he is Reuben McKnight, who stole his scientist brother's super-soldier technology after suffering a nervous breakdown…right before a white Rayquaza arrived and stopped Groudon and Kyogre's renewed battle.

Both accounts agree that he believed he was different from an early age, but only came to believe he was Omega after suffering a nervous breakdown just before turning 20, spending the next 18 months in an asylum. After discovering (or stealing, as the case may be) his powers, Omega began claiming that he was the son of the legendary Rayquaza that stopped Groudon and Kyogre thousands of years ago (making him a Rayquaza as well) and that he had taken human form and that he was here to "save the world" from its self-destruction.

He recently took up residence at the ruins of the Sky Pillar, where he waits and prays to his father for guidance. He has rebuilt much of the pillar, though it no longer stands at its former glory.

    Class: Mystic Avatar/Scientific Experiment--truth unknown

Ability: Omega possesses immense superhuman strength, endurance, reflexes, and resistance to injury along with the power of flight. Omega wields a mighty sword called Excalibur and he is very proficient in armed and unarmed combat. Much of his power seems to come from his armor, which is either powered by advanced technology or dragonic iconography. His power gives him control over the elements of the sky: he can summon lightning, rain, and storms. In addition, Omega holds control over a variety of dragonic energies, giving him access to dragon-type attacks.

    Name: N/A (Known as Psyke)
    Gender: Male
    Age: 17
    Physical Description:
Standing at six feet tall, Psyke is rarely seen without his trademark hat: a flat-rimmed, lavender cap worn backward at a 45° angle. The hat covers his dark brown hair, cut so that it falls just above his blue eyes at an angle. Psyke is partial to black and purple, which is mirrored in his clothing choices: typically a black undershirt with a zip-up hooded jacket that is the same color as his hat (worn half zipped). Baggy black pants with a silver belt are worn with his lone pokéball on the side. On his feet are black boots. His wrist bears a lavender wristband, designed to keep his psychic abilities in check. Fingerless black gloves are worn on his hands. A black backpack is worn on his back, holding his few possessions.

Psyke possesses the body of a person with a high metabolism: lean, but not buff. Whenever necessary, Psyke uses his psychic abilities to assist him in day-to-day activities; however, he hates questions and only makes use of them when no one is around.

    Personality:

Psyke is partial to dark humor and has a sarcastic wit. He is an avid thief and enjoys taking part in certain illegal, thrillseeking activities. Psyke, due to having been abandoned at birth, is a loner and prefers to be alone whenever possible (exception being when he is with his Alakazam).

    History:

Seventeen years ago, a prostitute wandering around Saffron City was abducted. The prostitute was taken to a local gang hideout and raped without mercy multiple times before being thrown out on the street again, to die. A kind old man took her in, nursing her back to health. Eight months later, she gave birth. Two months later, she killed the old man in a drug-induced rage and took off, leaving the baby alone.

After two days, the old man's son was worried after calling the old man multiple times and traveled up to Saffron to check up on him. Upon discovering his body, the man was horrified to find his father dead on the ground, with a baby only a few feet away. The man took the baby in, and traveled off to his home in Fuchsia to raise him.

Throughout the boy's childhood, signs of psychic prowess occurred often. Whenever the child was angry, a purple outline surrounded him and he passed out. In later childhood, this aura lead to the ability to read mind and perform telekinesis, with the effect of leaving the boy exhausted afterward.

On a particularly bad day, at thirteen, the boy found his way into the wine cellar and drank two bottles of an old and rare wine. After being caught and punished, the boy exerted the biggest aura they had seen, and his powers were out of control. Appliances went flying, and the dishwasher slammed into his adoptive mother, permanently disabling her. Unable to cope with the demands of a rowdy child, the man cast out the boy.

Not knowing where to go, the boy stumbled along, running from pokémon until he made his way to Saffron City. A public event caused him extreme embarassment and his psychic powers were unleashed in the middle of downtown. A scientist on break took notice and grabbed him up, running him to his laboratory where he ended up residing for a year. In this time, the scientist invented the Brain Band, a bracelet that kept the part of the brain responsible for his ESP in check. Eventually, the boy grew tired of the lab, and broke out and began wandering the streets.

Two years later, the boy still lives near Saffron City, in a cave a half mile outside city limits. His only friend is his Alakazam, who aides him in stealing from tourists to stay alive.

    Class: Trainer

    Ability:
Being a psychic, Psyke has the ability to read minds and use telekinesis to a limited extent. His ESP increases when his blood pressure rises, usually due to extreme anger or stress. If the protective bracelet is removed, Psyke loses all control over himself and is potentially deadly; however, expending so much power leaves him unconcious for periods of up to three days.

    Pokemon: One

    Pokemon Sheet

    Name/Nickname: Alakazam
    Species: Alakazam
    Gender: Male
    Description and Personality:
While making his way to Saffron City, Psyke came across a trainer attempting to catch a wild Abra. After the trainer threw the pokéball and successfully captured the pokémon, the boy telepathically spoke to the Abra causing the pokéball to return to his hand instead of the trainer that caught him. As the trainer turned to him, the Abra released itself and immediately evolved into a Kadabra, and used a psybeam attack on the trainer knocking him unconcious. Psyke called back his new pokémon and took the hat the trainer wore as a trophy.

Though his Alakazam aids him in his thievery, deep down the pokémon disagrees with the act but accepts it as necessary. During battles, the Alakazam speaks to Psyke telepathically, removing the need for commands.

It's a pretty solid signup. However, you'll have to explain and expand upon how he got his powers, ie. Where did they come from. He doesn't necessarily have to know where they come from, but as his creator, you need to let us know. Also, two points that need to be changed: 1. Age: I probably shoulda marked this officially, but since this is a big-time gov't-run opperation, anyone younger than 19 won't be involved (since SHIELD has to take responsibility for its opperatives, it can't exactly have kids running around causing mayhem). 2. Class: If you have powers, you're not a trainer. You can classify yourself under scientific experiment, or mystic avatar. Again the description of your abilities should also include how you got them.

EDIT: Also, since your character is rather...antisocial and anti-authority, let's say...how would you be able to play that role while still taking orders from someone like Steven Stone, the Director of SHIELD?

Oh. With all this in mind, I'm afraid I must withdraw from this RP. I have the urge to play this specific character. I apologize.

I'm sorry; I don't manipulate my characters to conform to an RP. The same outline is used in each one. If it's not what you're looking for, that's your prerogative.

Well, I'm not sure I quite understand your reasonings, since all RP's will ask something of your character that is a little different. All I was asking was for a character that was 2 years older and for you to go into further detail. However, if you don't want to that's your choice and I'll live with it. Take care.

Hi there, I'm also interested in auditioning for this role play, but unable to complete a sign-up tonight. Would it be possible for me to reserve a spot and have a sign-up submitted by tomorrow? :3

    Name: Keani and Keahi Lorenzo
Codename: Keani (Codename: Heart) and Keahi (Codename: Soul). Joint Codename (Doppelganger)
Gender: Female (Keani) and Male (Keahi)
    Age: 21 (Twins)

Physical Description: Standing at around 5'6.1, Keani is quite tall for a young woman of her age and has a body built for the countless activities she takes apart in. With her lithe frame and toned abdomen, she is perfectly suited for running great distances and striking fast in combat. Her eyes are a glistening emerald green colour and her hair is a brilliant shade of blood red which descends to her shoulders. Most confuse this as being her natural hair colour until they get up close and see odd streaks of light-ish brown peeking through the onslaught of red.

Being your (not so) average beach junkie, Keani wears a pair of dark blue, baggy jeans which flare at the bottom to cover a pair of brown and white vans. Her preferred choice of upper clothing normally consists of nothing but a black and white bikini top with a loose fitting , orange chequered button up shirt thrown across her shoulders. The shirt however is hardly ever done up as Keani claims it to 'limit her movement'. A pair of black sun glasses are worn atop her head to keep the unruly bangs of hair at bay.

A shark tooth necklace decorates the tanned patch of skin just above her bosom and a two brown belts are thrown half hazardly around her waist in order to keep the ill fitting jeans from falling down. An array of different coloured bangles and bracelets decorate her lower arms and upon closer inspection one would notice the multiple piercing's that she has tucked away on her being. For example the very tip of Keani's left ear is pierced with two golden hoops and bother her bellybutton and tongue are home to orange jewels that are embedded into the flesh.

    ------------------------------------

Keahi shares most of his sisters features, such as the petite nose and emerald coloured eyes, but unlike Keani, this twin has a smarter dress sense and though in most cases he is built to perfection he is slightly less concerned with showing off his being, though this doesn't mean he doesn't like the attention is charm and good looks bring his way.

Standing at the same height as his sister, Keani has a build just slightly bulkier than that of his sisters given his gender and instead of the blood red hair his sister has insisted on adopting, Keahi was quite happy to keep his original hair colour of dirty blonde and simply braid the long strands here and there with beads and shells he has collected on his travels.

He wears a pair of dark blue, three quarter length jeans and a blue and white button up shirt which is done up with the exception of the two highest buttons which remain undone to give the world a peak of his hair ridden, bronzed chest. A pair of brown leather sandals adorn his feet and one loan beaded anklet wraps itself securely around the right ankle. Like his sister he wears a shark tooth necklace around his neck and multiple bracelets around both forearms. But Unlike his sister, he does not like to mare his appearance with pointless piercing and so his skin is left un-punctured by the likes of hoops and gems.

Personality: Keani is hot headed, overly confident in herself and sarcastic. True enough she works hard and endlessly to gain top marks in what she does, but she can never resist rubbing her success into others faces. Of course with this personality comes the inability to accept loss and Keani looses her temper fairly easy when it comes to loosing and through she does well under stress for the most part, is has been know to get the better of her. She is likely to try and provoke her opponents into lashing out at her, driving them into a fury which she can then take advantage of, though sometimes she succeeds in doing this without trying and ends up in countless fights.

Keani is also know for her flirtatious nature with both sexes, though she never really means to she cannot help but use her charm to wiggle her way passed security or even gain herself a free drink or two at the bar. All in all Keani is quite talented in getting her own way and manages to get them whether it means through her charm or through her fighting skills. Another thing to note about Keani's personality is her natural ability to lead and her hate for those who try to tell her what to do if they are not qualified. Keani has no problem taking orders from those who she deems worthy or evidently more skilled than her, but that person normally has to prove themselves time and time again to her before she falls into the pattern of taking orders from said person. In other words, trust and respect is something Keani favours highly.

All in all Keani is an idealist with a rather complex personality, caring for those close to her and keeping them safe even if it means jeopardising her own life.

    ------------------------------------

Keahi on the other hand is a little more calm and assertive compared to his sister. Where as Keani's outlook is to take things as they come, Keahi likes to think things through and understand the working of a mission and its dangers before setting out. He prides himself on the fact that he is possibly the only one that can keep Keani out of trouble and sometimes even change her opinion and perspective on things. Though he shares most of his sisters flirtatious characteristics he is more likely to keep them in check and avoid hurting someone in the process, though as hard as he tries he has never been able to stop Keani on any of her advancements.

Even though it is fact that Keahi is the more natural leader out of the two and by far the one with the most common sense, he prefers to stay in the background and allow his sister to take control of situations, knowing full well that she is the more passionate and the more protective over her fellow team members, where as if it were up to Keahi he would pay the other no heed and concentrate on keeping his sister safe as she is the only one of importance to him…though he does not stop himself from slipping Keani the odd idea or two.

Overall, Keahi is the more strategic and logical of the two, relishing in the fact that if something goes wrong he is more than likely to have a back up plan.

History: Having had a mother who was all the rage in the fashion world, Keani and Keahi were subjected to lights and camera from a young age, even though it was not they're intention to be caught by the public eye. As children they were used many times in they're mothers photo shoots to advertise her new kids wear, normally accompanied by they're two adored Pokemon in order to also advertise her range of Poke clothing. After the age of ten, the twins grew wise of they're popularity and grew tired of the constant prodding they received from fashion magazines and tv. They decided to fade into the background and stay indoors where they enjoyed each others company, not letting anyone else into they're world.

By the fifteen the twins had decided that they're life of confinement could not carry on, for years they had been forced to sneak out of the house in the dead of night to go play outside in order to avoid the camera's who were rumoured to believe that they're mother had killed them off, which was completely unrealistic and uncharacteristic of they're mother, but what else were they to believe when the twins had suddenly stopped appearing on the front of the magazine covers? They packed they're belongings and left with they're Pokemon to embark on they're own adventure.

By the time they had left Johto at the age of seventeen after fighting they're way through the gym battles to the league which they had ultimately failed at with they're un-evolved group of Pokemon, they began a new adventure in Kanto where they're goal was ultimately the same as what they had had in Johto: To fight through and gain entry into the Pokemon league. Unfortunately in they're travels they were met with a complication…

It seems Team Rocket had taken an interest in the twins and knew they're faces from recent pictures taken by paparazzi in Johto, who's head lines read: "Twin's Ahoy!" as they were caught catching the boat from Johto to Kanto only a week or so ago. At first the twins thought nothing of the unexpected attention they were receiving from 'adoring fans' but they soon grew weary of the two when the girls wig popped slightly out of place to reveal a shocking green hair colour beneath, upon noticing her fault the woman sprang a canister of gas upon the two twins and hauled them back to they're base where they conducted multiple scientific experiments upon the two.

Such experiments included the merging of the twins' minds with the psychic abilities of an Alakazam and then the agonizing separation of the link before re-establishing it again. All in all the experiments were agonizing for the two and once again they found solace in each others company. All was going according to Team Rockets plans until they went a step too far and tried to separate the two physically from each other. All was nothing but a mixture of fire, ice, tears and despair as the twins made they're escape through what looked like a brutal slaughtering of the scientists that had been performing experiments that day.

From that day onwards the pair decided to call off they're days of battling and settled into a beach like community where young people were often found wasting they're days away until they were approached by an offer they could not refuse: S.H.E.I.L.D.

    Class: Scientific Experiment

Ability: Keani and Keahi were linked in Team Rockets experiments through the psychic powers of an Alakazam. In other words they can hear each others thoughts and always know where the other is, the down side of this ability is that the two can hardly stand being apart, this is something which S.H.E.I.L.D have dedicated they're time in helping them with. It seems that they're merging with the Psychic Pokemon also meant that they gained a slight boost to they're intelligence, Keani in the form of mechanics and general knowledge and Keahi in the form of strategy and general knowledge.

It seems that as well as this experiment they were also subjected to multiple others. Keani's D.N.A was merged with that of her Pokemon Arcanine and through this she gain a speed boost and the ability to conjure and control fire. Keahi on the other hand was merged with his Pokemon Weavile and gain the power of ice.

When together they're strength is doubled by the mere presence of the other twin, but this also has a counter effect when they are not in close quarters. All in all, the twins are able to function when apart but are not at they're full potential.

    Pokemon:

    Name/Nickname: Jake
    Species: Arcanine
    Gender: Male
Description and Personality: Jake has been with Keani since she was a baby, her mother bought the young Growlithe for her not only because it was a necessity for her range of Poke clothing but also because Keani was too dependant on her brother and vice versa. The Growlithe was noted for the black patch that obscured its left eye giving in the most adorable look for the front cover of a Magazine.

Whilst travelling through Johto Keani decided that she would leave it up to Jake to evolve or not and it was at the doors of the Pokemon league that he nudged her backpack where the warm glow of the fire stone was shining through. The young Growlithe was worthy of the front cover no more, but earned its place fighting at his owners side in the Pokemon league as a fully grown Arcanine.

Jake is what all Arcanine tend to be, fierce and loyal. When Keahi is not near he is the one that give Keani strength and will fight for her until the very end. Though not a nasty Pokemon, he does tend to get edgy around those he has never met before and consciously places himself between the stranger and his charge.

    Name/Nickname: Aura
    Species: Weavile
    Gender: Female
Description and Personality: Aura, like Jake has been with her owner since the boy was a baby. Ever the little prankster, Aura would take great interest in picking on both Keani and Jake to amuse Keahi in his boredom. One would always thing that the Pokemon were given to the wrong owners and Keani was always the one that would laugh as Aura's attempts and picking on her. The Weavile is noted for the jagged crown atop her head, where as normal Weavile's have a smooth pink crown, Aura's is jagged.

In her evolving from a Sneasel, Aura has grown up a little but still keeps her mischievous streak. It seems playing pranks and picking on her owners sister and her Pokemon has not diminished with age and certainly does not disappear in battle where is sly sense of fighting comes in most handy.

(You know what; you're right. There's no reason I can't manipulate my character a little bit. Inside I've changed both age and an explanation on his powers. Also, the anti-authoritarian nature is a crucial flaw in a character who takes orders... it's pushing past his instincts for the greater good that results in a better story.)

    Name: N/A (Known as Psyke)
    Gender: Male

This ability was apparently granted to the boy after stumbling upon a deep purple stone that was kept as a collectible by the old man he first lived with. This stone was in fact a prototype Psystone, designed to emit radiation meant to evolve Eevee into Espeon instantly. The radiation manipulated nerves in the cerebellum resulting in psychic mutations.

RP Sample (for the hell of it):

    Crunch, crunch.

"Ah. The delightful sound of tourist footsteps. The very emission of the sound waves causes my stomach to roar. What has it been, two days now since I have had ample sustenance? Then I suppose I had better make my move", the boy spoke to himself, holding back a malicious chuckle.

In a sneaky motion, the boy tiptoed over to the far end of his cave, behind a wall, and released his trusted pokémon.

"Alakazam. How nice to see you. Today, we eat. Beyond our cave are more tourists, wearing their gaudy fashions. I find that this is a sure sign of their obsession with material goods. In other words, they are sure to have some money with them."

    "...Delicious."

"I thought you would feel that way". the boy said, telepathically. "Here's the plan. By this time, the tourists should be far enough down the path that we can initiate a rock slide with telekinesis, hopefully angering some zubat into attacking our new friends."

    "...As you command, master."

The boy and his Alakazam quietly moved outside the cave, glancing up at a cliff that towered over the two fat tourists. Both telepathically synchronizing a location on the cliff, they telekinetically moved a few key boulders out of the way causing a large amount of rubble to fall off the cliff and land nearby the tourists. Instantly, three geodude and two zubat were up and agitated, circling around the two people menacingly.

The fat man reached for his belt and called forth his pokémon, a graveler. Likewise, his female companion let loose her vulpix. However, in doing this, she placed her purse on the ground.

"Perfect opportunity. This is almost too easy".

A lavender aura appeared around the psychic pokémon, and the same aura appeared around the purse. Mysteriously, the purse floated through the air gracefully, landing in the boy's open arms. They both turned around and ran back to the cave, victorious. Upon searching through the bag, they locate a wallet containing $1200.

"Alakazam; what are you in the mood for tonight? I'm buying."

Good. Accepted. Glad I was able to twist your arm. The anti-authority thing isn't a problem, I just needed to make sure you would be able to play that anti-authority character personality while still contributing to the mission/story/whatever. From what you posted in red, it seems you're aware of this and can pull it off.

((Thanks a bunch for putting up with me. XD I hope this concept is okay- if it's not, don't worry, I have another idea that can be used.))

Name: Peri (short for Experiment #2XXXXXX7) Tréyes (Codename: Cyberria)

    Gender: Female

    Age: 19 years

Physical Description: Peri stands out from the crowd in a way that does not pertain to her stature (her height is nothing remarkable; a mere five feet and one inch), nor her body type, despite the latter being somewhat curvaceous due to the hourglass figure she possesses. A large metal visor conceals her eyes and much of her nose, only revealing a small pair of lips and the lower half of a heart-shaped face. Wild, honey blonde hair sprouts from her scalp at various angles, some sections falling into her face with the ends that conform to gravity cascading just past her chin. Peri rarely brushes it due to the fact that it always rebels against whichever style she puts it in, therefore avoids attempting to tame her scruffy locks altogether.

Beneath the visor, which is rarely removed from her pallid face lies a pair of long lashed, cobalt blue eyes which, despite their brightness, allude to her blindness by their glazed stoicism from failure to react to external stimuli.

The woman does not sport any style of clothing in particular, and will parade about in anything from formal attire to Lolita fashions depending on what she finds comfortable. However, the ensemble exhibited most often is that which Peri wears to work: a green, military-style jacket over a crisp white shirt and black tie, with many-pocketed cargo pants, boots and an array of wristbands up her arm. Peri's penchant for such accessories is a subject of amusement for her colleagues, but the young woman is unphased by their jests.

Personality: The product of a revolutionary series of experiments, Peri lacked a definitive persona until she was released from captivity, manipulated by Silph Co. workers and allowed to develop emotions. Whilst not an emotional person herself, she recognises those within others and knows how to deal with certain situations thanks to the immense knowledge she possesses. However, there is no limit to one's sagacity, especially not Peri's, who as a result is extremely curious of things she has not experienced or only has OED definitions of in her mind. This sense of curiosity also renders her rather naïve and almost child-like despite the formal manner in which she conducts herself and in a sense, she is very simple minded; her goal in life is to understand what it means to be human beyond encyclopaedic babble.

Her high level of intelligence also brings out arrogance in the young woman, criticising those who do not share her sense of logic and ability to comprehend intricate matters. Having conformed to a program for most of her life, Peri is reluctant to go out of her way to disobey laws and the word of superiors, but there is a fragment of her that ponders what the rush of adrenaline she has read about feels like. However, she has a love-hate relationship with spontaneity, becoming enthralled with random happenings outside of and extremely agitated when an unforeseen occurrence appears within her own plans.
Despite the treatment she endured whilst in the Team Rocket laboratories (which admittedly was not as harsh as that of other experiments), Peri is very friendly- most likely due to her highly inquisitive nature- and unafraid of people. She is perhaps an anti-social person's worst nightmare, for rejection merely encourages her to try harder.

Region From: Kanto -> Saffron City

Region Currently In: Hoenn -> Rustboro City

History: Peri's first memory is that of waking up in a large glass chamber with various electrodes affixed to her limbs, abdomen and temple, whilst being observed by a gaggle of strangely-clad men intent on pressing their faces against the tank and making a lot of noise. The female does not suffer from amnesia- in fact, her mind stores many, if not all of the images, sounds and experiences that her senses are subjected to. Peri's origins lie within Team Rocket's acquisition of technology that enabled them to create their own version of the Pokemon Porygon.

The weapons department within the laboratories were intrigued by the functions of the new Pokemon, and were inspired to create something of their own that would impress Giovanni (an increasingly difficult feat due to the experiment that was Mewtwo). An artificial child was created utilising similar technology used to birth a Porygon, thus Peri was born. As strange as it would seem for Rockets, they affectionately dubbed her '27'- though perhaps this was mostly due to the fact that no one could ever recall her identification number without referring to her documents, other than the first and last digits.

Peri was liberated upon the collapse of the Rocket empire, though exposure to the world beyond the laboratory she had been developed in caused her a great deal of stress. Peri was arrested, sectioned, and then dispatched to a psychiatric unit in Celadon City after the shock caused her to malfunction and thus display erratic behaviour in public. At the hospital, she became acquainted with a middle-aged doctor who later sanctioned her release upon gaining her trust and learning of her plight. Peri was sent to Silph Co., who ran several tests and created programs that would alter Peri's personality so as to enable her to reside in the normal world and gave her a name and a job in order to establish an identity.

She has since traversed to many technologically advanced cities as part of a Silph approved project to collate data pertaining to experiments such as herself.

    Class: Scientific Experiment

Ability: Designed to be used as a weapon for Team Rocket's schemes, Peri's genetic make-up is composed of codes originating from both human DNA and computer data, which therefore grant her abilities which differ from your typical experiment. The woman does not require oxygen or food to sustain her life, rather she depends on excess energies in the atmosphere and the odd electrical current. The variety of programs 'installed' within Peri allow her to alter certain aspects of herself such as hair, eye and skin colour, though she is currently unable to augment her entire physical form. Her ability to enter cyberspace and the fourth dimension due to various encryptions within her DNA is frequently abused via teleportation- she is capable of vanishing from one spot and appearing in another in seemingly milliseconds due to the difference in time between the two dimensions.

The addition of an 'Up-Grade' to her system has enabled her body to harness various energies and convert them into three elemental forms; fire, ice and electricity, each of which can be emitted by the appendages at the ends of her limbs. Further advances in her technologies mean that cannon-like weapons can be summoned from sections of her program and Peri can shoot blasts of concentrated energy from her hands. Typically, she stores ice in her right arm, electricity in her left and fire in her legs- the benefit of 'fire' energy is that it enables Peri to gain altitude whilst hovering, similar to rocket boosts, though the three can be rotated if she wishes so. Peri can also perform her own version of Tri-Attack, by which she curls herself into a ball and unleashes all three energies at once.

When the 'Dubious Disc' was implanted within Peri's molecular structure, parts of her code became corrupted and rendered the experiment blind, as well as bestowing upon her the peculiar skill of being able to separate her limbs from the rest of her body, much like the qualities exhibited by a Porygon-Z. To combat the blindness, Peri sports a visor which actually functions as a camera, taking thousands of pictures a second and 'uploading' them to Peri's mind and granting her sight. The visor has secondary capabilities, such as thermal and night 'vision'.

Peri is also a skilled hacker- even without uploading herself into cyberspace.

Pokémon: One Pokémon is all she needs.

    Name/Nickname: Mahtoh
    Species: Magneton
    Gender: N/A
Description and Personality: Originally a duo of Magnemite that became attracted to the energy within Peri whilst on a trip to Mauville City, Mahtoh has since evolved, and now provides Peri with electrical power on the odd occasion that she needs it to charge her visor. When not within its Pokéball, Mahtoh has a penchant for destroying nearby electrical appliances, but will mostly obey its 'trainer's' commands.

Kiarra: Very nice signup. Love the detail you put into it! 5 stars! Bueno! Anyway...denied...

just kidding...Accepted. Had you going there, didn't I? I will warn you that one of the NPCs in the story is another sort of "Porygon" experiment type (the porygon line mixed with Rotom), but he's an NPC and pretty much stays hooked up to SHIELD's computers. His abilities are similar, but he's more of a "ghost in the machine" type of cyber-tech. Your character's abilities are different enough that it shouldn't be an issue.
