Cool (to both of you). I tried to run this on another site and it hardly got past the real exposition before people started falling out and whatever, and I had such hopes for it so I said to myself, "why not try pokecommunity?" so I'm hoping this will fare better here. Looks promising.

Physical Description: Malic at a first impression is impressive, but only to a point. Standing at about 5"10, Malic sports a muscular body developed over the course of of nearly two decades of training. However, his muscles are more toned than bulky allowing him to have a high level of agility and speed on-top of his strength.
Examining his physical features, Malic's face is distinct for having almost child-like features. He has bright blue eyes that hide behind shaggy wholesome brown hair. His skin is fair with rosy cheeks that only small child would actually have. He remains clean-shaven to the best of his ability and his actual face has no real physical impurities other than a few cuts and bruises due to the natural environment and his intense training and a single scar running down from his forehead across his left eye down halfway through his cheek. This scar is a personal symbol for him and he sports it with a strange combination of pride and shame.
Malic's choice of clothing is what you would expect in a standard trainer, meaning they are piratical, functional and far from pretty. First and foremost, his torso is covered by a black slim fit t-shirt with a dragon design on the front and back. For further protection from the elements, Malic wears a Volkneresque jacket with a black base color and red accents on the sleeves and shoulders adding some character to the coat. The symbol of the Blackthorn Gym Bade is placed in the mid-back of the jacket. Fingerless worn leather gloves protect his hands however they are partially ripped and are reaching the end of their days. His jeans are the the standard denim color with some fading, however they retain their blue luster. They are kept in position by a black leather belt with a Blackthorn Gym Badge custom made buckle. Malic's shoes are of the Vans design complete with a black and red design to match his famed jacket.
Malic, of course, wears his own share of accessories to further decorate his already custom design. The most distinct accessory is his sliver chain necklace with the Blackthorn City badge acting as a pendant. To compliment the necklace, Malic has a sliver loop earring on his right ear and a sliver ring on his left hand. Underneath his clothing, Malic invested in body art. He has a series of tribal tattoos running down from his neck to the his hands on both arms. His back contains a design featuring two dragons combating each other and his chest as a Phoenix roughly where his heart is.
Personality: Malic is practically the definition of laid back, preferring to hold on to his "go with the flow" view on life which allows him to take on obstacles one by one. For the most part, Malic only has a few cares and concerns which allows him to remain focused on the one thing that matters to him: Pride. Malic takes great pride in his position as an elite Pokemon trainer and even greater pride in the history of Blackthorn and the trainers from it. Malic's pride stems from a long career mostly defined by success in Pokemon Battling. For the better part of his career, Malic has grew accustomed to success and as a result, he is confident in his abilities to succeed, and shockingly has not developed a massive ego.
In terms of social interaction, Malic acts on the border of being immature. He packs childish energy and is extremely talkative and outgoing. He almost always speaks his mind and is honest to a fault, typically annoying people in the process. Malic lacks raw intelligence as his only education was how to raise and battle Pokemon and lacks basic common sense at the same time. However, he is an expert on the aspects of Pokemon and is typically up to date on the latest events in the world due to his tendency to constantly check his iPhone. He is fiercely loyal to his comrades however and is capable of rising to the occasion if need be crediting the culture of Blackthorn for his heart and determination in times of need. At the age of 7, Malic begged his father for a Pokemon to help jump-start his quest. Normally these trainers either leave the town to receive their Pokemon from a licensed professional or go through a painful process to receive one from the higher ups of Blackthorn. These attainments of Pokemon usually occur between the ages of 10 to 14, however Malic's father found a loophole and immediately seized the opportunity. For Malic's 8th birthday, his father gave him a Pokemon from the distant region of "Hoenn". A Bagon to be precise. That gift was the beginning of a long history united by a shared passion.
For the next 6 years, Malic trained with Bagon in the most difficult of environments until they believed themselves to be ready for the outside world. Including epic rock climbs, survival contests and raw combat, the training brought these two to their limits. Upon Bagon's evolution into Shelgon, Malic believed himself ready for a continuation of their long journey. With a party set on the day before his departure, Malic left on a good note receiving many gifts and wishes. As a result of his confidence, Malic vowed not to return until he was proud of the man he became.
His first obstacle was the Johto and Kanto Leagues which became recently unified. While he only required 8 badges to enter the league, Malic with his typical youthful energy and optimisim decided that the full 16 would be more challenging and serve as a better mark of his strength. For the next 2 years, Malic traveled the regions, taking his time and making sure to cover every last bit of the regions for training and experience. At the age of 16, Malic entered the league with a team similar to his current one (Salamence, Charizard, Seadra, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, and Dewgong). He placed fairly well, losing out in the final round to an up and coming trainer from Pallet Town. The defeat however hit Malic hard and he decided a quick escape would calm his nerves.
The new destination was Sinnoh, where we spent the next 6 years of his life. The 6 years were full of intense training and hunting for the next components of his team. It was Sinnoh that his final team was constructed and it was in Sinnoh that he attained his highest levels of success. The diverse landscape served as his own personal gym and the competitive atmosphere fueled his training regime. In due time, he returned to the Pokemon League leaving as the victor of the tournament rounds only to combat the Elite Four and leave in defeat. While his second failure was not as surprising, it left a bad taste in his mouth.
Hoenn was the only region left the unconquered and much like Sinnoh, Malic spent the 6 most recent years in the heart of it. This is seen with the power level his dragons contain within their bodies and the unity they have in battle.

Description and Personality: Mavis is known to have a certain level of intensity, much more than his lax master. Mavis is far more reckless, running headfirst into battles and improvising his every move and in a strange twist often leaves will a startling level of success. However, Mavis is always known for unwavering loyalty and obedience in situations that call for it. This makes Mavis not only a powerful but reliable member of Malic's team. In terms of appearance, Mavis is no different than a standard Salamence other than his larger build, standing at almost 6 feet and a distinct scar across his face, similar in form to Malic's.

Description and Personality: Then only member of Malic's team without a name, Kingdra is the most generic and bland member of the team. Kingdra listens when called upon and has proven to be a consistent fighter with a solid win/loss record due to its ability to plan and predict the moves of the opponent. Kingdra has quickly become the most quiet member of the team to the point of freaking out the others, however Malic strongly favors Kingdra due to her strong mind and defensive type that allows for no weakness. Description and Personality: Quite possible the most brutal and evil member of the time, Skeletor is one of the most ferocious members of the team having a deep contest with Garchomp for holding onto the title of scariest member. A Pokemon notable for its close combat, up close style Skeletor became a fan favorite amongst Malic's team as its style brings lots of "Holy Sh@!" moments in competitions, as well for its deadly speed and strength at the cost of defense. Skeletor's physical features are distinct due to its heavy battles with cuts, scrapes and scars all over its body.

Description and Personality: Argos is one of the most recent additions and he has quickly established himself as a mainstay. Much like Skeletor, Argos is a deadly combatant known for epic, drawn out battles. Unlike his rival, Argos favors longer battles as it allows him to analyze the combat and use tactics within the battle using a combination of melee and ranged combat in order to systematically dismantle his foe. Garchomp has his share of battle damage however it is far less in amount and more concentrated on his fins.

Description and Personality: The youngest and most recent member of the team, Atlantia is also the most affectionate and docile member. Having a major crush on Malic, Atlantia is known for her desire for attention and to please Malic. She is also extremely protective and her battle prowess backs up her "bark." Atantia strongly favors long range combat and takes defensive maneuvers whenever the battle gets too close, making her a tactical, intelligent battler much like Kingdra. Her physical features are no different than other well groomed Milotics.

Okay, I know this is a bit of a differant aproach, but could I be on the Team X, I'd be able to try to outhink the SHIELD and give them a worthy ennemy.

If someone isn't affraid of him by the time they see his build and height, they will run from him with one gaze into his frightening green eyes.

No can't be on Team X. First, I've got a pretty comprehensive plan. Second, it turns everything into pvp. Finally, your character sheet is way way skinny. It's all bones. Look at the other examples on this page. Those are good, meaty signups. That's what I'm looking for: commitment.

Name: Hailey Heartgold

Physical Description: Hailey is nothing much to look at upon first impression; standing in at around 5"5 with a slim frame. Though she does have some muscles and is fairly flexible due to years of being a gymnast, she no where near as good as most people in that field. Though what she lacks in brawn she makes up for in brain.

It was during this time that she met other people of the same interests of her. It was on a trip to the Cave of Origins with these friends that she met Prof. Rowan. Hailey was astounded by his knowledge on the subject on evolution and myth, and found his theories fascinating. They soon got to know each other and became good friends. Rowan then invited Hailey to come to study with in Sinnoh, which she accepted whole heartily.
Hailey has spent the last 7 years traveling around Sinnoh, learning about its myths and doing jobs for Prof. Rowan. She did go through the Pokemon League (due to Rowan saying that she was a good trainer and should try it) and actually got to the finals with her current team before being defeated. After that she devoted nearly all her time to learning, taking only a couple days off at a time for training or resting. Hailey is currently on top of Mt. Coronet where the three dragons appeared, trying to see if there is any more clues as to how they are or if they had left anything behind…

He is also quite tempered and usually has a lot of energy to burn off. Hailey rescued Skull from a trainer that was using him in illegal Pokemon battling and still has numerous of scars from that time, which includes only having one horn. This has led to Skull hating his appearance, not even being able to drink from clear, still water with out closing his eyes first. But despite what he may think of himself, Skull knows that Hailey will like him and look at him like she would at a Milotic. This has earned the Houndoom's deepest loyalties. Skull has mostly fire and dark, pure attacking attacks.

Description and Personality: Technically, Hailey doesn't own Destiny for she has never caught her. Destiny was a wild Togepi who fell into a pond and would had drowned if Hailey had not saved her. The young Togepi then started to follow Hailey…and hasn't stopped doing so since. Hailey tried to get the Togepi in a Pokeball, but the Spike Ball Pokemon turned out to be afraid of them. So, Destiny has come to be Hailey's Pokemon in all but the actual capture. Due to this, she is always somewhere near the female trainer. Over all, Destiny is a shy Pokemon who hides from people or things she doesn't know. But if a person or Pokemon is sad then she will immediately go and try to make them happy, be it to make them laugh or comfort them or to give them a shoulder to cry on. This has led to a close relationship between her and Skull, who she often tries to make him see pasted his scars and missing horn. On the team, she acts as a kind of supporter with moves like Wish and the two Screens.

Sting used to be owned by a cruel breeder who had a kind of Pokemill operation going on. He escaped from the mill and was found by Hailey on the shore of Lilycove City, just as his old owner caught up to him. Hailey quickly took Sting into her own party and she, along with the police, shut down the Pokemill. Sting has always been grateful for that day. Battling wise, he has varied attacks that both match his typing and can be used on different Pokemon (such as Surf and Ice Beam) and even knows Toxic Spikes for when they are needed.

Description and Personality: Luca is the newest and youngest member of the party. Hailey obtained him as an egg after helping out a man named Riley when she first reached Sinnoh. Despite his young age, he has proven to be the most intelligent member, being able to come up with battle strategies on his own. When he evolved into a Lucario, he learned how to use to Aura to speak telepathically in the human tongue, and often has intelligent conversations with those who would talk to him. From an early misconception, Luca has always called Hailey 'Mother', since she was the only one there at the time (late one night) when he hatched. Though he knows that she is of a completely different species and that she didn't actually give birth to him, he has always thought of her as his 'unofficial' mother. Luca goes to Hailey when he is scared of something or doesn't understand, and she comforts him as best she can. Though he tries to hide it, sometimes Luca's true age comes out. Luca is a kind of mix-attacker on the team, preferring to use Special Attacks like Aura Sphere and Psychic, but also has Close Combat and Earthquake for when Physical Attacks are needed.

Nice Signup. Accepted. Just a note, but I edited my signup posts to include my last two characters. One (Omega) will serve as more of a part-time member, while the other is very very very strongly based of the Riley character from the anime and games (or what I could learn of him from bulbapedia), so Charzeon, we can work that meeting you described into the story. Adds some character interaction and whatnot.

Sign-up: Pokemon: The Ultimates
Name: Marina Fisher (Codename: Firestorm)
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Physical Description: When Marina stands up straight, she is a bit more than five feet tall. Her hair is a tawny brown. Marina likes to keep her hair straight and long, a bit past her shoulders. Marina's eyes are a deep aqua blue, and usually tend to be narrowed with either anger or analyzation. Overall, Marina has a lean build, with long legs and arms. She doesn't usually wear long clothes, due to being used to living in a warm climate. Her normal clothes that she alternates between are two outfits. Outfit one contains a pair of somewhat loose pants and a T-shirt. The pants are a dark purple, while the T-shirt is indigo and has a Quick Ball pattern in the middle of the chest. Outfit two is for slightly colder days, which contains a pair of plain sweat pants, a long-sleeved shirt and a sweatshirt. The sweat pants are an ordinary gray, and not really much, although they do keep Marina warm. Her shirt is usually under her sweatshirt and thus is often concealed, but is colored a dark but dull green. Marina's cold weather sweatshirt consists of tawny red and odd stripes of black, making Marina look like a Growlithe when she wears it. This is what gives her the ironic codename Firestorm.
Personality: Overall, Marina is bright in personality, and friendly to those she's met before. Marina is always willing to help out with those who need it, and will do the best she can. Although Marina is generally happy, she's also a little serious, so you can probably never get her to laugh hysterically. She prefers to analyze things before jumping into them, opposite of her Poliwrath, Maggie, so it usually takes control to hold Maggie back. Easily suspicious, Marina often jumps to conclusions when it comes to judging others. For example, she always sees the grunts on enemy teams as theives who don't know what they're doing, although that's not always necessarily true. Because of this, it's not easy to get her to trust you, but once you do, you have a loyal friend who will stick by your side. History: Marina was born in Fuchsia City, and lived there until she was 18. But let's back up to her childhood. She had a pet Growlithe named Sky, starting from when she was four. Sky helped her learn how to take good care of her Pokemon for when she became a trainer. Marina, like most young kids, had become a trainer at age ten, but since she lives far away from Pallet town, she took too long to get there, so when she arrived, there were no starters left. Professor Oak apologized and gave her five Poke Balls and a PokeDex anway, so that Marina could start with a Pokemon hse caught on her own. That was when she and her mother went to shop in Saffron city for a change, and they passed through Vermilion city. The only interesting Pokemon that Marina saw there was a psychic-type Pokemon called Drowzee. She liked the way it looked, with its funny elephant nose and pattern that was half yellow and half brown. Marina threw her PokeBalls at it, and was down to her last one when she caught the Drowzee, and was also somewhat tired. She and her mother rested in Vermilion City before heading north to Saffron.
At age twelve, after training Stella for a while, and evolving her into Hypno, she had noticed a timid figure in the water when gazing off the beach in Fuchsia. It was a Seadra, trying to avoid any trainers -- any trainers that it could see. Quickly, Marina had thrown a Great Ball, with the help of Stella's psychic powers to hold the Seadra down. Named Infern for the way he thrashed around and his somewhat demon-like personality, he was the last Pokémon Marina ever caught.
At age 18, having almost fully trained her Pokémon, Marina moved to Lavender town, taking Skye as well. She entered Lavender Tower upon entering Lavender Town. Marina had seen Gastly before, but these were not Gastly. It was as if they were things with no form, just.... ghosts. With the protection of Stella's psychic power, Marina headed upstairs, eventually reaching the top. On the shrine-like area at the back of the tower, there was a mysterious... thing. Marina never discovered what it was. But it reacted to psychic power, so Stella destroyed it and began to rest. A group of two Gengar appeared and asked Marina to stay the night. Seeing nothing wrong with it, Marina accepted, but it was a mistake. While she slumbered, the Gengar tried to sap her energy until there was nothing left. Luckily, however, Stella awakened the Trainer, and Marina sent out Infern, and a double battle commenced.
When the Gengar were defeated, they were impressed and practically saw Marina as a deity. They rewarded her with a small power that allowed herself to go undetected.

Ability: The Gengar granted the ability to bend light and become invisible, but she remains solid. It saps a lot of Marina's energy though.

The Seadra had been exploring among rocks, trying to take care to avoid Trainers. He had caught Marina's eye, and as he surfaced at one point to look around, Marina threw a Great Ball, with Stella's help to hold the Seadra still. Infern was powerful, but Stella was stronger, and the Seadra was barely caught.
Infern has a distinctive short-temper trait. However, he is timid in battle, and not that confident of himself. When angered, he often rampages and destroys any small object in his way. However, he is inwardly artistic and often likes spitting bubbles for his amusement.

Stella often prefers to analyze enemies' techniques before she attacks. She prefers special attacks over physical ones, and often uses her psychic powers to use attacks of other elements as well. She is calm and it's not easy to annoy her. Also, Stella is brave and stands up for what she thinks is right. If Marina did something bad, Stella would probably be rebellious due to her leader-like nature.

Physical Description: When Marina stands up straight, she is a bit more than five feet tall. Her hair is a tawny brown. Marina likes to keep her hair straight and long, a bit past her shoulders. Marina's eyes are a deep aqua blue, and usually tend to be narrowed with either anger or analyzation. Overall, Marina has a lean build, with long legs and arms. She doesn't usually wear long clothes, due to being used to living in a warm climate. Her normal clothes that she alternates between are two outfits. Outfit one contains a pair of somewhat loose pants and a T-shirt. The pants are a dark purple, while the T-shirt is indigo and has a Quick Ball pattern in the middle of the chest. Outfit two is for slightly colder days, which contains a pair of plain sweat pants, a long-sleeved shirt and a sweatshirt. The sweat pants are an ordinary gray, and not really much, although they do keep Marina warm. Her shirt is usually under her sweatshirt and thus is often concealed, but is colored a dark but dull green. Marina's cold weather sweatshirt consists of tawny red and odd stripes of black, making Marina look like a Growlithe when she wears it. This is what gives her the ironic codename Firestorm.
Personality: Overall, Marina is bright in personality, and friendly to those she's met before. Marina is always willing to help out with those who need it, and will do the best she can. Although Marina is generally happy, she's also a little serious, so you can probably never get her to laugh hysterically. She prefers to analyze things before jumping into them, opposite of her Poliwrath, Maggie, so it usually takes control to hold Maggie back. Easily suspicious, Marina often jumps to conclusions when it comes to judging others. For example, she always sees the grunts on enemy teams as theives who don't know what they're doing, although that's not always necessarily true. Because of this, it's not easy to get her to trust you, but once you do, you have a loyal friend who will stick by your side. Okay, thanks for letting me know, I didn't read the whole topic ^^' I edited the history, took away a few Pokémon and added an ability, so I should be good now for a Mystic Avatar.
