FireRed hack: Pokemon - Ultra Violet Version

So it should save as 128kb... Don't understand why it defaults to 64kb :/

I joined this site to be able to comment! First, I must say great hack! I have been playing for about 2 weeks. Took a minute to get to work on my Xperia Play.

Now, I did find something odd. The egg I got from the Meteor Site had a Pichu in it, without Volt Tackle. When I went to Berry Forrest to get Lostelle, I saw the Celebi mirage, then when I went around the corner, the egg was there. Took a long time to hatch, and when it did, Jirachi popped out...
I have yet to beat the Elite Four, in fact, I haven't went through Victory Road, still leveling up before hand.

Again, great game! I even downloaded it on a friends computer to get him to play along.

holy crap thats weird... i think i know why people are finding the egg without fighting celebi... and you should still be able to fight celebi after fighting the e4... but i have no idea why jirachi popped out... thats nutty... oh well lol enjoy your jirachi...

in theory after you beat celebi you should have another shot at getting pichu with volt tackle... after beating the e4... if not... let me know...

I did not write the script for making the egg... altho i did write the celebi...

and im very glad you are enjoying the hack ;)

Thank you for the swift reply! What was supposed to be in the egg at the Meteor Site? I felt it odd that a normal Pichu came out. Looking at the guide, I think that egg was supposed to be Jirachi. Maybe I do have them mixed up now that I think about it....lol.

jirachi should be at the meteor site...

it seems the people who get pichu without fighting celebi dont get volt tackle... which is reasonable i suppose...

Hi, i know this is old, sorry for revvies. I jusr came across this hack and squeed over it jumping to play. And so i did. Dratini was my starter, moveset is learned late, other than that the only glitch i'm having is a problem with viewing status menus and skills. When 4skills are known and a new one can be learned, it freezes and crashes same thing upon viewing "summary" of Pokemon. I'm not sure if this was reported, or fixed, my ultra violet version is 1.21(i believe) but i thought you should know i'd really love to complete this game, i'd love to play through, thoroughly.
 
that has never been reported... or expierienced by me... has anyone else had this issue...

PM me your email address so I can get your files (.sav and rom) and see if I cant figure out the problem...

does this happen with EVERY pokemon or just dratini? so no pokemon can learn anything past the 4 first moves? or just dratini?

If it helps at all, I've never had this issue, and I've had many pokemon (including a dratini, though it was not a starter) learn moves past the first 4. I also haven't had any pokemon learn moves at the wrong level.

Second, is it possible to catch a shiny at the beginning as a starter?

well i dont even know what Cydia is... so probably not

second... NO... I tried and they kept coming out as bad eggs... something about the starter makes it so the shinyizer wont work... sorry
 
Does anyone have Ultra Violet on their iPhone/iPod touch and be able to give me a walkthrough on how to get it?? I would greatly appreciate the help. I've spent about 5 hours now exploring ways to get it and I can't find anything that works :/

Obviously you probably shouldn't be jailbreaking if you can't figure this out, but I'll tell you anyways. This is only if you have your emulator already. Download and use iFunBox to navigate down to Var->Mobile->Media->Roms->GBA. Now, download a clean FR rom and patch it with the Ultra Violet patch and then drag and drop it into iFunBox. Done.

Well a good friend of mine did it for me, no need for hostility :p
I don't know a lot about it yet, I'm still learning as I just had it jailbroken maybe a month ago. But thank you!
 
Alright I'll look up how to do that on my phone's emulator. But one quick question. When do you think Fire Red Plus will be released and fully done?

lol that should prolly be asked in the firered plus thread... but it will be awhile... I have recently been ill (i believe its tonsilitus) and just have not felt like doing anything but watching youtube videos... (mostly of a ginormous man making slingshots that shoot through cars...)

on a happier note... FireRed Plus does has an optional skip for the end of game reset... so you phone emulator users (including gameboid) can play the after game content with no issues ;) and no one will need to worry about the m1 sub-circuit ever again. just your your save states and be happy
 
I bought a syther from the "casino" and when it was evolving, it suddenly stopped and the text was "....?".
I dont have the national Pokedex and dont know how to get it. what seems to be the problem? I just got my 4th badge and at the ghost tower. Help pls :)

Yes, that is the problem. You are required to have the national dex in order to evolve a Pokemon past #151.
