FireRed hack: Pokemon: WARPED

Hmm...I find this veary intresting..Intruiging concept, good execution, can't wait for Beta 3.
 
I can't wait for summer time! Actually that has nothing to do with anything, OI! Does Brock make an appearance in Beta 3 along with Koga and Bill?
 
just finished playing a hour. after reading thou some of the posts i started at stage 6 and up. T_T LOL no wonder the wild pokemons and trainers were so high lvl'd, i thought that's part of the challenge of the game. :x

nice hack, more please :D
 
Well, I finally managed to play through the beta and it was awesome so far!^^ I loved all the dialogues and the fantastic concept, my favourite speech is from a Hiker in Revelant Asylum, something with Raquazzer (I rofled almost 5 minutes straight after I read that!^^), such a noob! xD Well, but I really, really HATED the fact that almost EVERY Pokemon in your hack knows Sludge (Pidgeotto, Nidorina, Pinsir and some more)... Please, please fix that it's already hard enough to train a Lombre...

Almost all pokemon in this hack know sludge you say? That's, weird to say the least. Could it have been a problem with your ROM before you patched the game? If not, has anyone else noticed this?

Anyways, erm, hello. I return after a prolonged period of inactivity. Essentially I stopped receiving subscription emails for this thread, so kind of just presumed that people had simply stopped caring. Anyways, I hope you are all pleased with the updates, and more will follow I am sure.

Oh, and in case it hasn't already been posted here, a new warp room (yes, another one) is being worked on for Beta 3. Much more streamlined and, well, Crash-Bandicoot-esque. If that doesn't make any sense, then you will see in due course.
 
No, Andy, it happened to me too.
Maybe you should check the Trainers via A-Trainer, and change the Pokemon's Moves.
 
I don't know much about Crash Bandicoot, but I know he is Australian I think. Will there be a Dragon Temple where Lance is met? It could be like Dragon's Den, but better! It will make the cake jealous! Good Luck@POKEMON WARPED.

It's been a while.

Straight to the updates: Work on stages 13 and 15 have begun! WHOA! Working on stages out of coherent narrative order?! MADNESS!

So yeah, Beta 3.0. One step closer. Goody-gumdrops.


P.S: I recall while flicking through all the comments, that someone asked whether Brock will be in the hack. Yes, Brock does indeed appear, in stage 12, in the cave part. Hooray for life!
 
So Brock appears in the cave part? That's cool, are the levels gonna be over level 30 in Stages 11-15? This is a good Rom Hack and I enjoy playing it.

Yes, the levels are over lv.30, the third Lord has pokemon reaching up to, as of now, lv.42. God knows what levels 21-25 are gonna be like!
 
Level 60 I guess for stages 21-25? I was the person who talked about if Brock is gonna be in beta 3. Oh, and here's a list of Septo Conquest characters that I suddenly know of:

Paul,Team Vine/ Solar,Josh and Andy,Magneto,Carl Phasno,The Showman,Hurel,Prof. Oak, Brock,Bill,Koga,Brendan,May,Lance,Team Magma& Team Aqua, Charlie, Greg, Lisa, Joey, Enrique, Craig, Doppleganger, King of Septo, etc.

I also know some characters mentioned from Lance Adventures are the 4 Lords and Pat Pending.

You should update the first post with photos of other stages rather than Stage 11.

We should go to an area where the deceased bodies of the Barons are in a Hurel-esque building and we can poke them. He he... *Goes to Lunatic Asylum in Adair Lake*
 
Just a quick update for you guys, progress at the moment is slow, as me and AndyP159 (real name Errol) have a ton of other stuff on at the moment, so we're looking at more of a Summer release for Beta 3.0.

Too bad... I really looked forward to playing the new beta cuz it was pretty enjoyable and a great new idea...^^ Oh well, I guess I just gotta wait!^^

And a question: What have you imagined for Stage 14 and 15 to look like?^^

Stage 14 is essentially a giant swamp, with plenty of Grimers and Koffings! And possibly the return of the chavs from Stage 8.
Stage 15 is an ice cavern, and is mostly a puzzle based stage. There are a few trainers dotted around but most have, er, rather unfortunately frozen to death. I'm looking forward to doing those sprites :)
Oh, and the Water Chamber, guys, is going to be pretty evil. Mwahahaha.

Will you have new tiles (or at least a pallete change) for the swamp or will you do it like Nintendo did in Mother (they just used the water tiles and made a sea maze, not pretty swampish...^^)?^^ The chavs are back again? interesting!^^ Pwing them was very funny!^^ Do they have a boss, too?

What is Stage 13 going to be like? What level does Farfetch'd learn Aerial Ace again? I like ROM Hacks made from England, I like that country, you are from England since you mention Chavs right. I like the Swamp idea, since the only other ROM Hack to have a Swamp was Pokemon Quartz by Baro.(He's From Spain also in Europe) I can't wait to poke a dead body in a frozen cave! :)

Edit: On the first post you need to update Warp House #3 with screenshots of other levels such as level 12.

Ice puzzles will be pretty hard I hope. Hard puzzles make a rom hack interesting, and although frustrating can make the game somewhat rewarding. Remember the ice cave in the original gold/silver, and how hard that was? Well imagine it being 2/3 times as hard.

Yes, we are from England. England rules!
We will update the screenshots and give a progress report in the future, but we are really busy with other really really important stuff right now, but hopefully will return with a whole truck load of updates sooner rather than later.
And... what will level 13 be like? Well that would be telling... :P
 
How much work did you get done on the next three stages? I haven't seen an update in while and when I do I'll have $30! Do Carl Phasno and the Showman appear again in later levels? I know the Showman has a garden center.
 
My first impressions of this hack:
"lol the dialogue is funny"
and then
"omg some guy with a level 16 rhyhorn just stomped my level 10 farfetch'd to death I have no idea what's going on D:"
and then
"so many Final Fantasy references..."
 
Wait, this thing is still around? And there's a Beta? *Downloading*
Keep on trucking guys, I feel inspired after seeing this hack again. Knowing you could keep working for over a year makes me think that there are still people who care (besides the ones who get attention).
