Pokemon you like more than their evolved form

Mankey > Primeape

Haunter > Gengar

Dragonair > Dragonite

Sunkern > Sunflora

Scyther > Scizor

Teddiursa > Ursaring

Nuzleaf > Shiftry

Swadloon > Leavanny

Litwick > Lampent/Chandelure

Managed these off the top of my head; I know for sure I've missed some. All reasons remain completely subjective. =p

Grovyle > Sceptile

Lillipup > Herdier

Rhydon > Rhyperior

Dragonair > Dragonite

Magneton > Magnezone

Mime Jr. > Mr. Mime

Smoochum > Jynx

Teddiursa > Ursaring

Combee > Vepisquen

Cherubi > Cherrim (unsunny forme)

Chinchou's my favorite pokemon. I was disappointed with what its evolution ended up like.
Dewott>Samurott
It has been said already, but why does it need to look like that?
Wartotle>Blastoise.
Wartotle seemed so cute until it turned into Blastoise...
Snorunt>Glalie
Don't get me wrong. I like Frosslass, but Glalie scares me.
Lampent>Chandelure
I just like Lampent's design better.
 
Definitely like Haunter more than Gengar. Way better design in my opinion. And also Electabuzz over Electivire
 
Eevee > all eeveelutions
Servine > Serperior
Rhydon > Rhyperior
 
Zubat > Golbat
Golbat has always looked really goofy to me, and I never liked him
Porygon2 > Porygon-Z
Same reason as Porygon-Z, though I already liked Porygon2's design
Omanyte > Omastar
Omastar's mouth and tentacles just make him look absurd
Dragonair > Dragonite
Another case like the ones above, Dragonite just looks really derpy to me as compared to Dragonair's elegant body
Ledyba > Ledian
Ledyba is really cute, ok? And then he turns into Ledian, who looks like an alien Power Ranger
Whismur > Loudred
There is something about big Pokemon mouths that just ruin it for me
Electrike > Manectric
I just really can't stand Manectric's color scheme. It might be because I live in Ohio

These are all the ones that really stand out for me, I'm sure there are more.
 
Oshawatt and Dewott >> Samurott

Vulipix >> Ninetails
Growlithe >> Arcanine
~~~ I actually like the both of their first formstoo, but their final form is just a little better.

Sneasel > Weaville (Weaville looks weird and Sneasel looked good to begin with)

Lickitung > Lickilicky (This thing is ugly)
Rhydon > Rhyperior (If it's not broke don't fix it because adding on to this evolution line ruined it for me.)
Chansey > Blissey (Probably because Chansey was often in PokeCenters in the Anime)
Togetic > Togekiss (See previous reason)
**Corphish > Crawdawt
Nosepass > Probopass (Okay Nosepass isn't a looker but Probopass is ridiculous to me)

Cubone > Marowak (Cuboen just looks better to me)
 
Hears my list im gust listing by looks because i dont have the games on the DS.

Piplup > Prinplup, Empoleon. I gust find piplup cuter than the others plus Empoleon looks scary.
Azurill > Marill, Azumarill.All of them are cute but i would have to pick Azuril and Azumarill gust looks like a blue rabit.
Cubone > Marowak. I dont know I think Marowak looks creepy.
Aron > Lairon,Aggron. Aron looks so cute unlike the other ones that look creepy.
Charmander > Charmeleon,Charizard. Charmander looks like a cute orange lizard.

Trubbish > Garbordor
I'm probably one of the few people who likes Garbordor but there's no denying that Trubbish is adorable and all-around superior in terms of design.

Wartortle > Blastoise
Blastoise, y u no have kawaii wing-ears?!

Machoke > Machamp
Machamp has four arms and that scares me.

Rhydon > Rhyperior
I loved Lickilicky, I loved Magmortar(!!), I loved Electivire...Rhyperior, not so much.
...speaking of which...
Elekid > Electabuzz + Electivire

Smoochum > Jynx
Because Smoochum is super cute <3
 
Piplup to Prinplup to Empoleon. I looooooooove Piplup, and I think the other two evolutions are ugly. That came out harsh.
 
Quilava > Typhlosion
My favorite gen 2 Pokémon is Quilava. I'm not really a fan of the "constantly enraged" look on Typhlosion's face.

Koffing > Weezing
In general, I find the concept of growing another head while evolving a bit disturbing, but here it takes the cake, because the second head does not look like an actual head, more like a tumor. And in some games, Weezing's sprite has a face like if it was begging "Please....kill me".

Trubbish > Garbodor
Trubbish is kinda cute. Gabodor? Not so much.

And you can throw in most of Gen 4's evolutions of old Pokémon. Most of them (maybe except branching evolutions like Gallade or Froslass, and with another exception that is Weavile) look... forced to me.
 
Meowth > Persian absolutely

Pikachu > Raichu

Togetic > Togekiss

Magby > Magmar

Totodile > Croconaw

Elekid > Electrabuzz

Magneton > Magnezone

Diglet > Dugtrio

 
Oshawott > Dewott - Oshawott is more adorable and cute. =)
Zigzagoon > Linoone - Linoone is somewhat weird.
Nosepass > Probopass - Probopass, I'd like to say what's that weird thingy?
 
I might make some enemies with this statement but:

Axew & Fraxure > Haxorus

Axew and Fraxure are just so dang cute. And Haxorus... it doesn't even look Pokemon-like... It looks like a monster you would see in some other anime/ cartoon show.
 
My main one is Kadabra over Alakazam.

I never had anyone to trade with when I was younger, therefore couldn't evolve Haunter, Machoke etc (thankfully I prefer their designs anyways), so I just grew to like them a lot more than their traded evos :)
 
Buizel! I honestly think it would've been fine as a non-evolving Pokemon, with Floatzel's stats. I love its design, it looks so cool, 10x cooler than Floatzel.
