Do you watch the shows, play the games or do both?

I mostly play the games. I can'treally keep interested in the show anymore. Although sometimes I do watch them for a bit of nostalgia.

I do both, but I tend to watch the anime more. I've only just got back into playing the games after weeks of not playing on them.

I used to watch the show quite often, but the main thing Pokemon-related I do is play the games. I still watch the show, though.

I only play the games. I can't watch the anime anymore because Ash is such a poor main protagonist.

I don't particularly like the show as such - it's got a lack of character development, and the story is repetative. But if it's on, I'll watch it.

I used to watch the anime until Hoenn episodes started airing, and I started hating it, for it became stupid and repetitive.

So, I only play the games now and have been since I was a kid, and will keep on playing them.

Well back in the day I was quite the Pokemon fan. I collected cards and coins, watched the anime, had all different Pokemon toys, clothes, plushies, and played the games. Nowadays I only play the games and very rarely re-watch some old episodes. It's weird because in a lot of ways I've grown away from the franchise, but at the same time I'd say I'm almost just as big as a fan as I was in the past. My interests in certain aspects of Pokemon have just changed.

I play the games. Use to collect the cards but stopped after 7th grade (had no one to have card battles with). Use to watch the anime till CN decided to change its airtime to around 6 a.m. in my time zone!

I'll get back into the anime soon. Especially when Best Wishes comes out here in the US.

Here's my opinion.

My current State-I'm playing the games as the show starts airing.
My Reaction-"Oh Cool they're fighting Roark, I just beat him"

My Current State-"Alright 4 gym badges"
My Reaction-"Oh, I see their fighting Gardenia now

My Current State-"I won-I'm the champion"
My Reaction-"WHY DO YOU NEED TO GO TO A CONTEST IN A FAKE TOWN???? This is a waste of my time"

It would be cool if you could play along with the anime as it airs, but you can play 24 hours a day 7 days a week, doing less annoying stuff, while the anime is 1 hour a day, 1 day a week, with all the annoying stuff.

That is why I stopped watching.

I only play the games now. The last time I watched the show was a long while ago... I think it was during the Orange League arc/season? Not sure.

I play the games, I don't like the anime at all. I do have quite a card collection, but I don't collect them anymore.
Oh and the show doesn't air on my TV so lucky for me :P

I used to be really interested in watching the anime' but I slowly "grew out of it". I am more interested with playing the games now. I like how you can sort of create your own journey rather than watching ash and his never-ending one! I now only watch the important episodes like gym leader battles and eliete meetings ect.
