    If someone in your family killed themself, and they left you a note and said that you contributed to their downward spiral, do you think you'd consider killing yourself on a daily basis?
     
    Wow that is awfully deep and would be horrifying, I think I might, but I am a very sensitive person which would contribute to that...
    Not sure though...
     
    I'd feel extremely guilty; pretty much no doubt about that. Would I go suicidal? Not in my current state of mind, I don't think.
     
    My uncle took his own life before I was born, it's tragic, but no, I wouldn't consider killing myself
     
    No, I wouldn't. As much as I would hate myself, I wouldn't do it. I don't think a family member would kill themselves over me either. I'm not that bad to live with. :/ I just don't see myself... well, killing myself.
     
    I prefer not to think about stuff like that. There's no point imagining that your behavior contributed to a family member's suicide just to imagine if you'd kill yourself because of it. I never think about close family members are friends dying, because it can only make you feel horrible.

    But for the sake of the poll, I can't imagine myself ever getting suicidal, so no.
     
    Now THAT'S a good thread, interesting question.

    Still, no, killing my self over that would probably not cross my mind until I remember when I posted here; the family unit is simply one that I value to a lesser extent than so many others do. I'd endeavour to find out what I did to contribute to the killing.
     
    no, regardless of the mistake and if it was intended or not I would continue to live and learn from it, no good would come from following such a path.
     
    That situation would never happen to me, I'm sure.

    I would never kill myself, being Catholic, we see that as a sin. Plus I want to live. :)
     
    Well, this question is very moribid... To answer the topic question; No I would not consider to kill myself. It would be ridiculously stupid to do something of that sort for something I did not do.

    But like he said, I cant take responsibility if person decides to commit suicide. I'd definitely try my hardest to stop someone from committing such a foolish act. Even if they were my mortal enemy.

    That being said, I still would really feel bad if they did it anyways. If I couldn't stop them...I'd probably be sad for a long time.


    However, I personally don't see killing myself as an option. And neither should you, or anyone for that matter. Besides, no matter what the note says, It's not really your fault. They foolishly chose their own end.
    Those who are willing to commit suicide, for any reason, are not of sound mind.
     
    No way. Unless its someone who I truly care for (which is nearly non-existant in my family). In fact, I'll actually hoped that the note states what I've done, so I can indirectly kill off more of my family.
     
    It depends on what happened that then I may feel or not feel responsible for their death.
     
    The morning to yesterday, my closest cousin's granpa shot himself in the head (I am not kidding). So, no. I don't like suicide. I wouldn't never even consider it, even if he'd have left such a note to us all. My cousin is my best friend, and he is just heartbroken. What a Christmas present, huh?

    It came as a shock to all of us that he would do such a thing, and we still haven't understood it yet

    We don't know why he did it, and we'll probably never find out. He was a great granpa who often partied and lived in a beautiful place with his family. But... now he's in the morgue being autopsied. Not much we can do

    I think, even if he had left such a note... it would actually be better than to let us know nothing like we do now

    I guess... Talking about someone I really loved and cared for, I probably would have a breakdown and think like that. I'm not known as the most emotionally stable person in the family, so I'd probably go down the wrong road if, say, my mother or my sister died like that.

    It's not really nice to think about though. :x
