Well with a system (DS) that has over 10 Million sells worldwide (that was back in Jan of this year) I'd say it really is dead.

The Sony PSP isn't everything, IMO the PSP isn't worth it. It costs an arm and a leg, the price of a good memory stick adds on to that. And most of all, I never found a good game for my PSP.
So when I say "But if you don't see any games you want then you might not want to buy it (goes the same for all systems)." it comes from me buying the PSP without looking into any good games for it.
For both me and my brother (yes, he has a $250 dollar PSP and I have a $250 dollar PSP) the DS gets played and the PSP sits there doing nothing (I haven't even turned it on in months).
 
I got mines a while back. My mom didn't see a problem in me getting one since I didn't get a GBA when that seemed to be the craze. I was able to play GBA games on it anyways, so it was like a 2 for 1 deal. ^^
 
my precious Ds is over a year old now, cause the UK got it on march eleventh 05 and I got it the day it came out :P and its my favourite console (yes I play it more then my Gamecube) The wifi is simple and free, the games are fun and keep you coming back for more
(still haven't stopped playing Mario kart DS, Sonic Rush and Animal Crossing, despite just getting Metroid Prime Hunters on friday)
 
why have some of you like got 3 or 4 DS's you only need 2 at the most for trading but even thats pointless because it never works and my friends have DS's
 
Good question, I think its because they are confused...they don't know why they bought a DS in the first place...so in turn that scared them so they just kept on buying more and more of them.
 
i dont want one! i rather want the new iPod .. i dont like pokemon games!
 
I dont personally own one, but I play my sister's more than she does, so I guess I have one. I dont think I'll be getting my own unless there's a price drop before my b-day, or a major price drop by Xmas.

Was that sarcasm? It seems that people in here are misinformed about the DS. The DS has sold 16 million units worldwide as of May 1st. In Japan, the DS is selling a quarter of a million per week, thanks to the DS Lite, MPH, Ndogs, & Brain Age. The high sales of the DS already broke the PS2's record, but whatever.

I already have a DS, so I'm ready for Di/Pe when it comes out.

No I was telling the truth, Nintendo is so dead that it'll go like Sega. <_<
YES it's sarcasm, come on. I'm the founder of the Nintendo Club on PC I wouldn't say something like "Nintendo is dead" and mean it.

And after just watching the Press Conference (I had to download it on sucky Dial-up) I saw that Nintendo did top out at 16 Mil worldwide.
 
Im gonna get one. Real soon...I cant wait, at first I wasnt sure whether I wanted one or not..but my friend has one and its real kool, I luv the games, and such...so I will be getting one as well.
 
I don't have a DS because I have this funny little quirk about not wasting my money.
 
i haven't got a nds yet, but i be getting one later on this year, i'm waiting for the nds lite to be releashed in europe.
