4th Gen Possible Pokégear features

If they make motion pic videos on it, that'll take up some space, and will require a lot of work. It would be cool nonetheless.
 
The new menu bar might be switchable for the PokéGear on the touchscreen.
 
all that's needed is the phone, radio, map, clock, and maybe a notepad and a calculator,
 
well, i remember seeing this one video on youtube which showed you a screen from the pokegear..
and guess what? it looks exactly the same as the poketch except with ds-i features implemented..

i say screw the DSI functions and have a camera....... here it comes....... WHERE YOU CAN TAKE 1st PERSON PICTURES! (sorta like a pokemon SNAP mini game)

That would be nice, but what would you take pics of?

"Great work Gold! There could be Pokemon in that 'Patch Of Grass' there. 1,000,000 Points!"

Also, that would take a lot of time and effort. GameFreak is notorious for only meeting the status quo.

Well Elm is very big on Pokemon Egg research...
You can take pictures of your hatched Pokemon and send it to him. As you send him pictures of your discoveries, he'll give you some goodies in return for helping with his egg research. This could come in play if the whole thing about bred pokemon having different appearances is real.

"This is a breathtaking discover on POKeMON EGGs! I continue this reasearch more! And if you have time, GOLD, stop by my lab soon! I've got something that will help you on your journey!"

hahaha, i find it funny how you worded that..... but ya...... it would be a cool feature, but it's nevar gonna happen
 
The camera feature for the pokégear does have some questions to it. You've brought up a good point, on exactly what we'll be able to take pics of. I mean yes we may be able to store real pics we have, but then what can we do with them after?

I like this idea,Too bad it dosnt gunna happen.
It would be nice to Take pictures of A rare Pokemon then send it and have A reward for that.
 
What are your ideas?

Well, I've had a few ideas for this, both Pokégear related, and I wanted to see your ideas. Both my ideas seem like something Nintendo might do, and both of them are very plausible :3

- Phone on Pokégear -
Basically, no matter where you were, you could set your Pokégear's Phone to "Roaming" mode, and it would search for all your registered friends that'd be in roaming mode too. When it finds one, they'd be added to a list, and if you select him/her, you can start voice chatting with him :3

- Radio on Pokégear - DSi Exclusive!
Well, Nintendo said they'd start making DSi Enhanced games. When better than to start with HG/SS? The Radio on the Pokégear would have a special channel in which it'd start playing music off of the SD card itself :3 I'm not sure how possible it is, since the games use MIDIs, and the SD card uses AAC, so... Yeah. Maybe they'll make a workaround.
 
Well this is a Poke-gear thread so I don't see why it cannot be acceptable.And your ideas have been said many times but i doubt em. Anyway the poke-gear will most likely just have some apps added and thats it.
 
Yeah, there's always that chance. And I'm not saying this thread is all pokégear; both my ideas were pokégear.

Theres no DSI fetaures in The game.
Beside its not posibble,Even if it is the music will go weird.


Well I dont think I have an Idea.
The game is Perfectly fine.Most People well get a very weird idea like"They could have done a First Person view to the TV screen".

And beside,We already have the Speculation Thread. Like what Todoroki said.
 
Actually we're not sure if there is any DSi features in the game so it's still possible for the camera to be there, possibly the sound card being used for the radio, and maybe just maybe might they ise the WiFi to communicate with friends through the phone as well.
 
A lot of the poketch apps weren't exactly useful...

All the Pokegear needs is : Radio, Clock/Calendar, Cell Phone, and the Map.

However, if we were to add to that, I wouldn't mind...:
-Day Care Checker
-Happiness Checker
-Type Checker
-Berry Checker (only if there are berries, but if there aren't... it's not needed)

Then again. Pokegear doesn't need that many apps. The poketch had too many and not all were useful.
