But yeah, I'm on University internet right now. And it fluctuate's a lot, during peak off hours I'll hit 80's down, but say at like 10 at night, I'll only get as much as say 20-35 down.

Honestly, those high speeds are one of the few reasons I would've considered springing another $5000 for room & board to go to a public 4 year school like the U of Minnesota.

gotta love that dsl, we had cable internet but the cable company's too unreliable in my neighborhood

Well, I use a 3G Modem, since I only have one cable to link up with my computer (since this is my netbook).
It can't even load YouTube properly... :<

yep, Cox Communications; supposedly the fastest internet in Las Vegas, pffft. Whatever though. This is all I can afford and it's better than that cereal box connection I used to rely on when I was living with my mom.

I could have sworn I already did this. It gets the job done, but my god I wish I had a better service. Parents...

This is at minimal network traffic during non-peak hours. When torrenting or uploading, that speed can slow to a crawl both up and down.
