I wonder if I can transfer my team from platinum to this new game....
My team had already been beaten the elite four in platinum with my ace pokemon pikachu, haha^^

Houndoom/Arcanine/Typhlosion(cant decide) I WILL be getting both games,but Im gonna buy Soul Silver then after I beat the game I will buy Heart Gold...It all depends..
Dragonite (My Charizard from FR might change this)

and Umbreon
Its probably going to change though because of where i will encounter the pokemon...
 
My first handheld game was pokemon silver, when I was 7 (I am 15 now), so I am going to go with the team I originally had in silver (YES I REMEMBER IT LOL!!)

- Magmar (WeezSneeze)
- Tangela/Tangrowth (Spgtimnstr)

Pokemon To Follow Me: I could have dunsparce slither behind me, and I could be a hippie and have trees follow me everywhere, but I think I will go with a giant blue gator following me...man I hope he doesnt get hungry...

If you are thinking my team is weird, you are correct it is "weird" in a way.
When I first played, along with my friends, I would go with the pokemon I liked, not the strong or easy to catch pokemon.
My friends always thought I was weird, but every one of my friends had an Ampharos, Noctowl, and Typhlosion...
(BTW, the last 4 on my list is the reason I do not finish i game fast, those 4 are freaking rare, it takes forever to find them all! I was playing on an rom sped up 1000x and it took me an hour to find dunsparce, nearly 2 hours to find heracross, about 20 minutes to find magmar, and 10 minutes to find tangela.)

oh and quick reply? NO, it took me 10 minutes!!!

also, everyone shuns the blue gator, they just choose the stupid owl, sheep, rat monster thing (cyndaquil), or that weird green dinosaur!!

Typhlosion-The others are NEVER the option. If it was female, I'd name it Cindy
Feraligatr-I'll find a way... or Gyarados
Pikachu-FTW and I wont even evolve it. Ampharos is another option I'm considering
Umbreon-If I can get it =_= or Espeon or Alakazam
Tyrannitar-hope I can catch Larvitar before E4, if not, Scizor
Togetic- No Togekiss, just Togetic. Keeping my teams Johto/Kanto only.

Quilava (Typhlosion is truely powerful but I love Quilava and it'll make the game more challenging.)
Pikachu/Raichu (I hope you still get a second egg like you did in Crystal. If not I'll just trade from Pt and breed in HG or if they let the Notched-ear Pichu evolve I'll make her evolve. ^_^)
Togetic (Favorite Flying type eva! Its great now that it's moveset is better. Though he gave one heck of a heabutt in G/S/C.)
Umbreon (My team just wouldn't be the same without him. I'm hoping to get a shiny one!)
Wartortle/Politoed (Not sure about these two. I love Wartortle he's like the water version of Quilava to me, but I also have a love for Politoed since he was in my original team and was my first shiny.)
Alakazam/Leafeon (I really hope Leafeon and Glaceon will be obtainable before the E4. Having Leafeon on the team would be the icing on the cake. But if things don't go that way I'll settle for Alakazam until Leafeon's avaliable.)

Totodile
Eevee
Heracross
Sneasel
Pikachu
Swinub

And no, I don't evolve them, ever since I started playing Gold and my brother started playing Silver, we've always had a contest to see who's team would win, his team of beefy evolved Pokemon or my awesome first stages and I'm proud to say he's only managed to beat me once outta the load of battles we've had hahaha. Now I always stick with the first stagers, which also makes the game last longer with the extra training you have to put in, but it's worth it, much more satisfaction beating down a league champion with little Pokemon against their huge champion Pokemon haha.
It's all about teaching them the right moves and balncing the team.

Shouldn't you use Pichu then, or am I too picky, as he's a baby...
Yeah, first stage Pokémon are the best. I mean, there is something wonderful about thrashing the gym leaders with something cute and fluffy!

Anyways, I'm going to complete the game with one Pokémon and HM slaves. I haven't decided what, something really weak - if the odd egg exists I may persue with that, if not, I'll rustle up something.
 
I would have posted my line-up from when I played G/S/C, but that was so long ago. So I'll just make one up. I'm probably going to have more than 6 Pokémon as my potential line-up. Some of the Pokémon in the list may be impossible or difficult to get, but I'll add them anyway.

Meganium or Feraligatr
Donphan or Skarmory
Dragonite or Tyranitar
Electabuzz or Magmar
Espeon or Umbreon
Heracross or Scizor
Misdreavus or Mismagius
Piloswine or Mamoswine
Kingdra or Lapras
Slowking or Slowbro

Hopefully, you can get an Egg from the Day-Care Center and something good hatches out of it. :D
 
So, I pick up Cyndaquil and my team would be:

Typhlosion!!! (My favorite pokémon)
Pidgeot (Always in R/B/Y/G/S/C)
Poliwrath/Quagsire/Whiscash (don't know yet can I catch it in this game) or Corsola (because I trained my Corsola to lvl 92 in my first save game, then my Typhlosion dissapeared somehow from box 8, it was 96lvl and I started new game)
Graveler (Usually with me, it can use HMs, I can't get Golem because I play with No$gba...)
Ampharos (good electric type pokémon)
Jumpluff (or another grass type pokémon)

I think I have something like this with me.

Yeah I would've had Pichu but back then I was knew to breeding and stuff and so went along with my pikachu that I traded off my Yellow.
 
My team will definitely include Typhlosion, at least in the first game I play. I will probably also use Pidgeot.
Then I have to decide what water type to use, Lanturn or Lapras. Depending on which one I choose, I'll have either Ampharos, or, uhh, not Ampharos?
I'll probably use Lanturn. Then there'll be Donphan, something like Hitmonchan, and an HM Pokemon. So:

Typhlosion
Pidgeot
Lanturn
Donphan
Hitmonchan
HM Pokemon.
And I'll use a Scyther and maybe a Hoppip to catch pokemon.
 
Feraligatr, Umbreon, Ampharos, Heracross, Houndoom, and something that can fly.
 
Cydnaquil , Murkrow, Sentrent,Psyduck,Golbat & Ratata Is Gonna Be My Team.
 
I don't really know what Pokemon I'm going to get because I haven't really played my Gold barely at all, but I do know that I'm getting a Feraligatr and Furret.
 
What!? No love for Meganium!?

Meganium(which I'll nickname Megumi)
Ambipom
Donphan/Ninetales/Thyplosion(through trade, of course!)
Togetic/Kiss
Kingdra
Vapor/Leaf/Esp/eon

Huge ice disadvantage, right? Pryce will be troublesome. It's still subject to change though.
