I guess to beat everyone you just have to use a water pokemon and a ground pokemon.:laugh:

I will definitely start with Chikorita. It was my first Pokemon in any game that was actually mine. As for the rest of my team, that depends on what they make available. I'll probably use Togepi, maybe Jigglypuff or Clefairy if it's available and if not then Furret. Butterfree helped me several times in GSC so I may use that.. plus I'll want to have at least one Water-type to help me Surf, so maybe Azumarill. I don't know, like I said, I'll choose from what's available at a decent point in the game =P

I have to go with chikorita. It is the underdog. It gives you a challenge when playing. that and I have other waters I like better than totodile.

The problem with Gold and Silver is all the starters are so great, it's almost impossible to choose. I think I'll go for Cyndaquil though.
