Predictions of new features?

Over the years, each generation has had some sort of new feature added to it, whether it'd stuck around or not. Features such as the running shoes, Pokétch, C-Gear, or even roller skates were added as time went on.

What are some features you think Game Freak would put into the new upcoming release? Or is there a handy feature you'd like to see?

Just as long as it's not the hoverboards that catch fire, but the hoverboards that were in BTTF XD

With those concept art of different vehicles I wonder if transportation will play a bigger role. Not just for the overworld but for the player character as well. While the Bike has been a mainstay forever, with how technologically advanced each generation was in terms of their games I wouldn't mind seeing some kind of hoverboard/additional travel options.

Yeah it is pretty intriguing. You've got the fire truck (with a Blastoise), the ambulance (I'm calling it now, in these games an ambulance drives up to us when we've passed out on the road :p) and the other truck/van carrying the Furfrou and Wobbufett. (this actually gave me safari/africa vibes when I first saw it.

I wonder if there will be story related reasons for ambulances to be driving around. Maybe we'll be able to call an ambulance to bring us to a Pokemon Center. (or maybe when all our Pokemon faint there'll be an ambulance animation)

Depends on the age of the protagonist tbh. If they are the usual 10 year old I don't really see this happening but if they use an older protagonist again, like in XY, then this could be a very strong possibility. Idk how I feel about it though.

The age was something I was unsure of. If they are older then it could happen.

But perhaps that guy with the Machamp could be a friend to the main character and work as transport throughout the region if they can't drive?

I would like to see a more improved version of what the DexNav had in ORAS. Like, go into more detail in regards to IVs, and also displaying the nature would be great since I'm sure that wasn't present in ORAS.

But in terms of original concepts, maybe I'm hoping for a new way to transport instead of using the bicycle, but I tend to take it with a grain of salt.

A 360 camera view would be a cool feature. The concept art for the Pokemon Centres had the front, side and back which could mean they're planning on adding some sort of all-around camera view which could be controlled by the circle pad.

Maybe that would be an excusive feature to the New Nintendo 3DS?
