Not sure which is the active topic at the moment so I'll go with the favourite one :3

Favourite fossil pokemon is Armaldo because it's sooo cool and cute and scary and everything all at once! Plus it has a great name! Although it still doesn't beat the ancient beast that is Mamoswine ;p

Does anyone use many of the listed pokemon on their teams? :) I use Armaldo and Mamoswine (incase you couldn't tell!) on most teams personally.

I think these should be considered:

Cool ! A dinosaur Pokemon FanClub ! *JOINS*

Name: AnGeaLLeN455
Partner: Aerodactyl
Partner's name: Sky killer
Password: Fossil

Aside from your partner, which is your favorite Dinosaur Pokemon?

-Hmm ... Hard to choose ! They're all cool and different ... Some are fossils that have been regenerated, others are legendaries or rare Pokemon ... I'm going to choose ... Haxorus :)

Make up a Dinosaur Related move for your Partner

For Aerodactyl ? Let's see ... If we combine its types and see its attacks ... He's speedy ... Oh ! I know ! I'll do an attack named OUTRAGED PREDATOR

Power: 200
Accuracy: --
PP: 1/1

Description: Known as the most powerful dragon-type move, this attack makes the Pokemon use OUTRAGE five times a round for five rounds, then it faints.

Which Dinosaur Pokemon do you think has the best design?
-I'm going with my partner (*image removed*). It's Epic x)

Do you think there should be more Dinosaur-like Pokemon?

Yes, because they are symbol of the past. I think that they should be more in the wild than in fossils !

It's all I've got. Let's all enjoy this thread ;)

P.S: I'll do my best to make this club better ;)

Welcome

Welcome

Explain why please..

Ninjask, Parasect and Scolipede: You've already got Yanmega and there were some pretty big bugs running around millions of years ago
[PokeCommunity.com] ~Prehistoric~Pokemon~Club~
Screehshot from a TV programme called "prehistoric Park"

Huntail: I could just picture this thing stalking the prehistoric oceans.

Nidoking and Nidoqueen: Well they look more prehistoric that Dialga and Palkia

Torcoal: Tortoises have been around for millions of years and well you do already have Torterra :)

Sandslash: Well i'm not exactly sure :\ seem a good idea at the time XD

for one, torterra is there not because it is a tortoise, but because it has ankylosaurus(mis spell?) attributes.. The Nido's have been discussed already.. parasect is based off of a mushroom? Huntail is an eel i believe, Ninjask is based off of Cicadas, sandslash as yourself has not made an explanation, Perhaps adding Scolipede would be considered

it shall be debated then...

Should Huntail be considered a prehistoric Pokemon?

Hmm... It certainly looks like it should be counted, but I don't think looks alone is enough. Other than its appearance there's nothing remotely pre-historic about it. I don't personally know about any kind of pre-historic eel but to be fair, if there was one then it'd probably be similar to Huntail.

To be fair there isn't much else that could qualify a pokemon to be prehistoric than looks. For example Sceptile only has its looks to qualify it :)

Could be, but some of them are definitely pre-historic based on what the pokemon were designed around. Torterra for example is an ankylosaurus I think and the fossil pokemon are pretty self-explanatory :L ... Sceptile I have no idea about, haha.

Sceptile is there because of its similarities to the Dilophosaurus

Ahh, fair enough! But yeah, on that basis I reckon Huntail should probably be a no unless its origins are revealed to be pre-historic.

Ooo, actually now I see your point!

Based on the picture here, I reckon you're right. It probably should be counted. :)

ok well let us see the other's input

I disagree with Huntail. It's based on a gulper eel, and not a shark eel. Just because there's an eel that's prehistoric doesn't mean it should be added.
Now you ask "what about Sharpedo and Sandile/Totodile family?" Now we don't exactly know which shark Sharpedo is based on, could be a prehistoric shark really, and honestly there's a lot of prehistoric sharks. That's why Gabite family isn't in, because we know which shark it's based on. Sandile and Totodile family all got resemblance to a Spinosaur, save maybe just Sandile.

I agreew tih spiny, there were moths and ants back then but we dont add mothim and durant to the list. Just because the animals was there dosent mean thats what the pokemon is based on.

when Spiny speaks.. all is fixed =P anyway... anyone wanna come up with a new topic?

Favourite generation for fossils...? ^^

Mine's Gen IV, although my favourites are Omastar and Armaldo, their partners are pretty poor. But both Bastiodon and Rampardos are pretty darn cool! :D

Going with Gen 3. I really looove Cradily and Armaldo. Cradily was my first fossil Pokemon and Armaldo is my favorite. (Not counting Aerodactyl.) <3

I honestly love all the fossil Pokemon haha.
