So I defeated Charizard_Man:
MMBG-WWWW-WWW8-PMA7
Actually Polar, since we're already added to each other...
What are the rules for this? Are we doing 6x6 for this? Seems excessive for qualification for Gym spots.
I just evolved a couple I might consider for a 6-on-6 team. I really have to figure out what I feel comfortable going into battle with.
I already know I won't be the Elite Four, and at best might be that Lv.10 leader you find at the first Gym in a game. {XD}
Next weekend might be too long to settle, maybe have the results by thursday and start announcing who is what friday to have everything running by Friday night/saturday.
Just a suggestion/thought. To be discussed?

4 leaders, 2 elites, and 1 champ.
*scratches head*
8 leaders 4 elites 1 champ?
Or is it because we dont have enough people? :(
The temptation to use my challenge team from GC11 is there. That got me through the challenge in roughly 33 hours, including time to sleep and other stuff. First one through the challenge. I may swap out a couple of members, but they were all in their 70s.
Also, I will insist that any battles I do for this be rounded to Lv.50. I don't usually spend time getting everything to Lv.100. I have a few there, but so far they are the ones that are not EV trained or IV bred. Turns out that Blastoise isn't the strongest Squirtle the Professor could have given me, and I have a nice traded one to replace it one day (maybe after breeding another Egg Move onto it). Going into battle against Lv.100 would not be ideal and would not be a challenge for the other player.
Haha, don't worry about it. And yes, it's expected that there will be challengers for both parts of the league, hence having them both. Either would be useless if there were no challengers. I would like someone to take over the Showdown part though, just because I have very limited knowledge and experience with it. And, I also don't really have a means of distinguishing a fair and effective setup for it. I'm just unfamiliar with it really, and don't want to bungle up that part of the league since doubtlessly it will receive a fair amount of challengers.
I should have said GT11.Ooo, I don't know anything about this GC11 challenge, but hey - if they can throw down with other pokes, shoot. All battles WILL be rounded / set at 50 on X/Y though ^^ We're going by Normal Wifi rules for qualifiers, as we will be for Challenges once the league's started. The reasons for this have also popped up on a few previous pages in here. (don't blame you for not reading them all, it's grown quickly.)
But yes, just so everyone's on the same page, Normal Wifi ruleset means all pokemon are set to level 50, wether they're under or over-levelled.
Beats me bro, i didnt even heard of showdown until this thread.
I should have said GT11.
But yeah, they are Champions. Not that Diantha is THAT hard...the Steelworks Chamber was harder. I picked my challenge team around Diantha's team (so that's why she was easy to defeat...). I even got a huge chuckle when I got Tyranitum down to half its strength in one hit and she had it use a OHKO recoil attack...that turned around and knocked itself out! {XD}
