Prism League Discussion (Previously "Our own Pokemon X/Y League")

Leaders/E4 using Pokemon whose Megas change to a different type, yes or no?

Yep as long as I can get some help while I'm getting ready, I should be okay for Challenges for the beta at least. As for the typing I would really like Psychic/Fairy Doubles if you don't mind... out of the remaining i only liked Psychic and electric but there was already a gym in Showdown i think with the same types so I wanted to be different and i have access to 2 of my favorite pokemon for doubles...

For the loaning part is suppose we should do that Privately but since your a challenger it might not be 100% fair less we got other people to donate as well.
 
Psychic fairy you are then. :3

The list is now as such;

All with two selections among the group: (These types cannot be selected again in this division)
- Ground
- Ghost
- Dark
- Dragon
- Steel (1 in 3Ds division but 4 overall.)
- Fairy

This group all has a single selection each among members of the 3DS group: (these types can be selected again in this division)
- Fighting
- Flying
- Poison
- Fire
- Water
- Ice
- Grass
- Psychic

These types have no selections in the 3DS division (and therefore those that SHOULD be encouraged as selections)
- Normal (replaced here)
- Rock
- Bug
- Electric

I'll update the league OP tomorrow if Zekrom doesn't before I get off work, annnnd if you want any pokemon from me, I can trade you. Fairness on account of my having an advantage knowing what I'm trading you shouldn't be an issue too, since my team is locked in for my challenge and on display in the OP :P So I can't really react to what you need anyways hahah.

Also working on a sub team for Cobra's gym.
 
Cool my trying not to be too specific (if so then im asking for my staple Sylveon Draining kiss, calm mind, baton pass, wish with big root and crazy ev's) And stupid Electabuzz eating my pokeball stock... But im working with Polar at the moment and will look to you next if i need something

Unfortunately i have to get to bed to get enough sleep to function in the morning for work.

Ditto; I have to hit the hay now, but if anyone does need sub-teams or specifically bred pokemon to start creating a team on their own, anything in my trade shop here is free game to anyone in the league (within reason.. you can't have everything lol) should they want it. Glad we're getting some more active people and seeing substitute leaders come in handy.

MAYBE THE ELITES WILL FINALLY START SEEING SOME ACTION SOON, HUH

But seriously great job so far everybody, this is actually running fairly smoothly compared to the qualifiers and type drafts I think haha.

I added Kitsuki to the list of 3DS Gym Leaders as a Psychic/Fairy member, replacing Dialga812.

Ditto what Zekrom said, but I think that "only people we know" rule in this thread's OP is kind of antiquated. The rules for accepting new leaders and elites are in the challenge thread itself, in its OP. We don't have to know you - but you do have to be a reliable, active, and quality battler. So you can still be a leader, if you earn your way in.


And I have a question guys - the last spot on the 3DS division. Kitsuki is taking it, as soon as their team is ready. It's also the last badge I need, but before Kitsuki replaced Dialga812 (rip ghost member) I had been waiting on that challenge for what would be going on 5 days now. I don't want to rush Kitsuki to throw their team together, so is it reasonable someone who can use a Fairy / Psychic team to sub be my opponent for that badge?

If so - Kitsuki do you plan on doing singles or doubles mate :p

While I have Fairy types, I don't have Psychic types ready to go, so I wouldn't be an adequate sub. That said, if someone wanted to borrow oner of two of my Fairy types on a loaner basis and send them back afterwards (I need them for challenges too!), I could do that.

Or I could clone them. Same diff. {XD}
 
Hey guys just able to ost that i can't be on tonight I'm the late shift tonight, Grandpa is home and they need 2 people around the clock since im the night owl im slotted for it. There is no net there and little 3G, Sorry everyone that was looking forward to the gym but i'll be taking my Ds's to work on the captures and building BP. Polar if you could maybe try and get a list of loaners so i can know what i can work with for now would greatly be appreciated.

Heyyyy, no worries mate, you take your time. Your grandfather is a lot more important than some internet friends playing pokemon hahah. I'll PM you a list of all my ready to go Fairy and Psychic types, with some basic info.

You said your gym is going to be doubles, by the way - in PM's before I think? Is that right?

You're super nervous? You have access to everything. We are limited to Pokémon within two types (though any sub-types are allowed). We should be the nervous ones; every challenger will bring different challenges that our types might not be able to overcome.

But then, ideally, we should all lose to a well-made team anyway. In the end, we want to make you beat us. :)

I'm not a good trainer like you guys, I cant even make a perfect pokemon win a battle

I know how to breed competitive Pokémon. My weakness is using them. In-game, they kick butt, but online you tend to find more of them and using weird strategies, such as something bulky throwing out Stealth Rock or Spikes and then something coming in to force your weak member back into battle via Whirlwind, thus causing immediate fainting.

Mega Mawile ended up in that situation, in fact. Was dragged in, then fainted.
