Eh, WWE is going downhill in my opinion. I still watch it every so often, but personally I see TNA rising up in the buisness soon. :P

I actually kind of see where you're coming from. The WWE doesn't really have those stroy lines that really drag you in that much anymore. I mean, I got back into watching TNA a week or two ago and I really enjoyed it. I liked the whole gang rivalry thing but it seems somewhat more fake than the WWE. They both have good point and bad points to me.

Yah, the WWF was way better. I like the old wreslters as well. Bock Lener, The Rock.
XD, im still thinking about when lesner did a superplex to big show of the top turnbuckle and the whole thing broke!

Horrible writing if you ask me. They probably didn't have anything else to carry SmackDown at the time. Now we have naked pictures of tubsy wubsy. :(

-- Former referee Tim White was let go by WWE today. He had been working backstage in a producer role in recent years since retiring from the ring due to an injury that occurred while refereeing a Hell in the Cell bout between Triple H and Chris Jericho at the 2002 Judgment Day pay-per-view. White had been with the company since the 1980s. The decision to release White was said to be a stunner, who by all accounts was well liked by the wrestlers.

WWE has finally parted ways with former ECW wrestler Kevin Thorn (Kevin Fertig).

As recently as a few weeks ago, Fertig was scheduled to return to the main roster as part of the SmackDown brand as a member of a faction led by WWE developmental wrestler Vade Hansen. Officials had plans for group to feud with Undertaker leading into Wrestlemania this year, but Vince McMahon pulled the plug after a single Hansen promo aired on Smackdown a few weeks ago.

WWE Cuts Long-Time Referee, Backstage Heat On Fired Wrestler

source: PWInsider.com

-- WWE has released a third referee in SmackDown referee Jimmy Korderas, who the company cut ties with earlier today. Korderas joins Mike Posey and Kevin Keenan (Keenan Quinn) as referees the company let go this week. Korderas had been with WWE since 1987.

-- As reported this afternoon, WWE released Bam Neely (Justin LaRouche). He was recently sent back down to WWE's developmental promotion as the company did not have a spot for him on the main roster. There was some heat on Neely after he missed catching Evan Bourne in a high spot several weeks ago on an episode of ECW. Bourne landed on his right ankle and dislocated it as a result. From that injury, Bourne also suffered a torn deltoid ligament. Neely had been with the company for quite some time, which included a stint as Ohio Valley Wrestling Southern Tag Team champion with Charles "The Hammer" Evans (who was also let go this past August). He was brought up to the main roster last spring as the bodyguard of Chavo Guerrero and given the name "Bam Neely" name as a takeoff of NHL star Cam Neely.

SmackDown! is probably my least favorite of the three brands these days. I just wished Finlay and Hornswaggle would go to SmackDown! so I wouldn't see them on ECW.

Updated List Of WWE's 60+ Releases This Week

Sources: PWTorch.com, WrestlingObserver.com

In the latest effort to cut upto $20 million from WWE's budget, there were massive layoffs this week in Stanford, Connecticut. In a press release issued this week, Linda McMahon explained the layoffs (or as she called them, "efficiencies") would help WWE in the longterm by putting them in a "stronger, more flexible position."

Here's an updated list of this week's casualties:

- 10% of WWE's 600 person office staff, including several longtime managers as well as members of WWE's television production and WWE.com divisions.

- Superstars D-Lo Brown, Bam Neely, Val Venis and Kevin Fertig.

- Agent and former referee Tim White

- Referees Jimmy Korderas, Mike Posey and Kevin Keenan

- Developmental stars Gavin Spears and Mike Kruel

- Vince McMahon's 2 limo drivers

Yeah. ECW's my least favorite.

RAW right now has the best story out of the three right now. I also think that it beats the TNA story line as well. But the TNA storyline beats ECW's and SmackDown!'s IMO.

EDIT:

I laughed a little when I read this. Of course. it's not funny that they got fired though.

- Superstars D-Lo Brown, Bam Neely, Val Venis and Kevin Fertig.

Don't you just hate it when they release injured Superstars? (Val Venis)

- Vince McMahon's 2 limo drivers

Oh good, now he won't explode again.

Spoiler:

TNA Main Eventer Hospitalized With Severe Staph Infection

Source: PWInsider.com

During tonight's TNA Genesis Pay-Per-View, it was announced that Main Event Mafia star Kevin Nash would be unable to compete in his scheduled match because he was hospitalized earlier today.

For those wondering whether Nash's absense was part of a storyline or a legit injury - it's legit. Nash was hospitalized earlier today in Charlotte, North Carolina with a severe staph infection in his elbow. There is a lot of concern backstage at Genesis regarding Nash's condition and there is fear he may have blood poisoning.
