    Hoenn2Kanto
It's my first open project to sketch all maps from Hoenn (R/S/E) to Kanto (FR/LG), is a slow project and accepted aid from anyone.
Notice that does not have the same quality of Hoenn, but you can change everything by your way so that it is equal to Hoenn. Remembering that it is a sketch and not a port.

Wait, why are you doing this?

First of all, ALL of your maps have tree shadow errors, Route 102's lake isn't using the right tiles on the lower portion, and you're not porting the houses and translating them over to the FR style, so the towns just look ridiculously out of place. Your choice of houses is strange, and you're not using any windows. When is the last time you saw a house without windows?

Maybe you should learn how to map effectively and without errors before almost porting things.

It's also strange that you're asking for credit, when these maps (both the tiles you're using and the layout) are not made by you. I mean, are simple and incomplete ports like these really something credit-able?

It's a little project for everyone, you can adapt every map to your way. Thanks to warn me the shadows in trees, I'll fix it. I won't go into details on the windows and all the map errors called by you, because I just want to take a "adaptation" on the maps for those who want maps Hoenn in Kanto. You can change the way you want, this is just an outline (I forgot to mention this in the topic).
Sorry, there was an error in translation, it was supposed to be a sketch and not a port, I thought I'd have the same meaning... Really sorry!
I'll remove the credits and edit the topic, I realized that it makes no sense to have them on topic, thanks.
Really, Thanks for harsh criticism! I hope you can answer my answer too.

I think it's a pretty cool idea. I did this same thing except the other way around (Kanto to Hoenn) for a hack idea where you'd go to both regions. I finished almost all of them and ended up scrapping it because the Emerald tiles looked so crappy to me. With the Kanto tiles, these maps look a lot better. Maybe I'll slap together a multi-region hack soon if you finish these and I'd be down to give you the credit.

I think it's hard to make this for me, since I can not manipulate the tiles to be with the same indexed number of R/S/E to FR/LG is not easy and it takes me a lot because I have many obligations beyond the forum.
All help is appreciated here if you want to work with me...
    Thanks :)

I also dont get it, why you do this? If someone wants to hack hoenn, he can use sapphire or ruby, and if he wants to do it on a firered rom, using better lokking tiles would be a better option.

You should try using a custom, but still FR tileset.
Like using the Hoenn Buildings, but in an FR style.
Also, you need to edit blocks, and use tilesets accordingly, you're just using random tilesets, it seems.

If you'd like help with this, I'd gladly give it a shot, and help you.

A neat idea, I just hope the (in my opinion) ugly RSE tiles mesh with the Kanto region's look/feel. Best of luck!
