I was wondering. I forgot how exactly you get the Regi's in Platnium. i Have the movie Regigigas, but not sure where to go to get to their caves.
 
if you're opponents leave in a match does it count like a win for you? and is there a record that peoples can see (1win-1loses-1draw) etc..
 
If they run from the battle, they lose.
Only you can see your record with them, I think.

On your trainer card, you can see the link battles record for yourself though. It shows how many times you battled and traded.

If you close your DS while battling, then it doesn't count as anything. I find this frustrating when battling people and they just turn their ds off. Time wasters -.-"
 
It a Wifi question, I'm trying to trade with someone, but when I go downstairs in the Pokemon Center, I dun see his Friend Code, nor when I try to seek participants for trade, nothing. The same is happening with him. We doubled checked both FCs, but still nothing :/

Help?
 
When a pokemon is infected with pokerus and is given 10 vitamins for a certain stat, do they gain 100 evs or 200 evs?
For example i give a garchomp with pkrs 10 carbos.

It's probably a connection problem. Do both of you have full bars? This has happened to me when I don't have a strong enough connection. If your wi-fi signal is strong, try resetting your router.

They will still only gain 100 EVs. Pokémon only receive EV multipliers from Pokérus when they fight a pokémon/are in a battle with a pokémon.
 
I recently EV trained a Scizor and counted all of the points myself, I used some of the vitamins, used pkrs, etc. But when I go to get the ribbon from the lady in Sunnyshore, she won't give it to me. Did I mess something up when I was training?

The lady in Sunyshore also counts the 2 EVs that most competitive movesets ignore as being irrelevant. Take the Scizor, remove any item it might be holding, fly to Sandgem, have it defeat a single Shinx, then try again. If she still refuses to give it a ribbon, then yes, you miscounted somewhere.
 
Can you custumize what you're saying in the wifi battle tower ? how do you do it ? thanks in advance
 
? You don't say anything in the Battle Tower, or anywhere else for that matter, unless you're doing an interview or saying like: "Go, Arceus!".
 
Well, when you battle people in the wifi battle tower they say something like "come fight please" for most of them, but others say funny stuff like you are my aunt or other things.
 
if i were to teach a mew attract, would it work against everything that isn't the same gender?(everything with a gender)

or would it be completely useless?
 
Well, from what I know, the fact that Ditto (through transformation) and Mew are the only genderless pokémon to learn Attract is a blessing more than a disappointment, I'd say that Attract would affect all pokémon with a gender.
 
Belly drum raises atk 12 stages ????? i tought only 6 stages existed ! i don't get it

Edit: Never mind i found the answer. But what about the sudstitute, how long does it last ?
 
A substitute lasts until an attack breaks it. A substitute takes a quarter of the pokémon's health, and it takes as much damage as HP is in the substitute to break it. For example, if a pokémon had 404 health (lol, Vaporeon), and it creates a substitute, the substitute will have 101 HP.
 
thanks Bruce, so that makes substitue Porygon Z kinda useless uuh ?
 
It really depends on the purpose. Porygon-Z doesn't really like status, and substitutes don't let statuses pass through to the pokémon. Basically, any non-damaging move will fail. Obviously substitute has its place, but it depends on what you are using Porygon-Z for.

Well since you need the national dex but i already got my member card
if i waited till lets say Sept 20 will i still be able to use my member card to go in the guys house or will it become useless??
