No one's on Wi fi

Whenever I go on Wi Fi no one is ever on. Are they really not there or do I have to do/get something first?

oh. yah, i skipped through all the posts to see what was going on lol.

Maybe his cartridge (GBA) has dust in it? or what, does it not how up on the Game Menu when he starts up the game? if thats it, the cartridge probably does have dust in it.
 
Why didn't they add the Hoenn region they should have I mean they added it to Kanto to GSC why didn't they do that here??
 
Johto had no cycling road, Pokemon burial ground, fossil Pokemon, Victory Road, Elite Four (and Champion), storage system developer, Safari Zone, or even their own villainous team. They had to "borrow" everything from Kanto. Johto's a pretty weak region on its own actually. The other regions, including Sinnoh, have no need for another region to supply these things to them. Adding Hoenn would just be remaking Ruby and Sapphire.

@ person below: Where have you been for the past 16 years of your own life?

Yes, I've seen every pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex and talked to Rowan.

Professor Oak upgraded your Pokedex to national correct?

If so then there is probably something wrong with the GBA cartridge you are trying to use.
I can't think of what else could be preventing it if you have the National dex.
Try blowing into the GBA cartridge to clean it, then blow into the GBA slot on your DS and try again.

It's worth a shot, considering it can clear dust from the inside, making it easier for the DS to read the cartridge.

just need it for my dex
, and i dont have wireless
network atm. so i wont be
able to trade one. so please
tell me if you know where to
battle a trainer with a Arcanine.
 
If I trade an egg to a brand new file, does the pokemon that hatches count as traded? If not, does it obey me no matter what, even though the egg was traded?

Unless it changed from Diamond/Pearl: Go into the victory road from the northern end, when you went past before you'd won the pokemon league, there was a man blocking a cavern. Go into that cavern, in there you team up with a trainer. She has an Arcanine
 
Hey Guys, I'm new here and this is my first post. What i would like to know, is how to get Pokemon from the Firered/Leafgreen onto platinum? I have a DSi... and dont really like all the new pokemon, as i started on Red/Blue and have left it for years. So... any ideas how to get pokemon from a GBA game onto my DSi? I dont mind spending money on a DS if i have to etc... Please help me!

Pal Park is an option, whenever you get a DS.
What you have to do is complete the Sinnoh Dex by seeing all 150 Pokemon in the Sinnoh Region [ You don't have to capture them, just see them ], then talk to Professor Rowan.
Professor Oak should show up and upgrade your Sinnoh Dex to the National Dex.
Once you have the National Dex, Pal Park is unlocked.

Then you must visit Pal Park by following this step :
To get there, go south of Sandgem and surf down then all the way to the right.
You have to go through grass and a lot of trainers so make sure to take a good team with you.
You will eventually see a building - Pal Park - and Professor Oak will present you with the PokeRadar counter/app.
Once you enter this building, you will be able to fly to and from there freely without having to surf again.

Then after that all you have to do is put your FR or LG into the GBA slot and turn on your Platinum, an option that says 'Migrate from FR/LG' should appear on the main menu where you start your game. Then you can choose Pokemon from your GBA game to send to Platinum, but keep in mind that once you migrate those Pokemon you can't migrate them back to FRLG.

Thanks for the answer мilкii, However, this isnt an option for me :(
I have a nintendo DSi, and there is no GBA slot in it. I can always buy an old DS to do this with and then carry on playing the game on my DSi, but, It would be nice not to have to spend out a load of money to get the pokemon i want! haha. If this is my only option then i will have to i guess, but there must be a way to get pokemon from LF/FR to Platinum using a DSi. At least im hoping there is. I heard a rumour that LF/FR was going to be made as a download option on the DSi store? Anybody heard about this?
Any ideas would be most welcome.

(oh, i also have a GBA, so if anyone can think of a solution with just a DSi + GBA that would be mega)
