Quick Question and Answer Thread / Breeding Questions

The game automatically saves when you get the Wonder Card, so you shouldn't have to.
 
Okay, I have a question:

I need to finish my PokeDex in Diamond, but to do so I have to have seen Azelf and Mesprit. [Already caught Uxie] I'm too lazy to catch the other two, so would it be fine if I just ran from battle, even though they disappear into the cavern? I can catch them in Platinum, so it wouldn't be like I'd lose them or anything.

As long as you were in the battle with them and you just chose to run, it still counts as seeing them. So technically, once you just get into the battle with those two and run away, it will still be added as a seen pokémon in your Pokédex.

Oak's Letter: I have beaten the Elite Four, gotten the National Dex, and activated the Mystery Gift... but it still says there are no gifts to be found. What am I doing wrong and why won't my DS pick up the Oak's Letter signal? My Wi-Fi Connection is strong, but it doesn't seem to be working. ;__;

You can download the Oak's Letter currently only with an American Platinum.

(If you have an American Platinum, I don't know what is wrong.)

Does it have to be Platinum? I'm using Diamond, but I thought the letter could be received with all three 4th Generation games.
 
No, it's an American or PAL (UK, Australia, etc.) Platinum. I'm Australian and I've already got a Shaymin in my PC.

It says it's from Hoenn and that it arrived at lv.55.
I'm guessing it is.
 
i finally got the oaks letter mystery gift & caught shaymin & he came with lum berry i went to to the flower shop & talk to all 4 girls but no graceidea flower, help please
 
Does anyone know if they are every going to release the shaymin event for pokemon diamond and pearl?
 
Do you think its worth it to get platinum then considering they are probably not going to release the arceus event (when they do) for diamond and pearl but only for platinum just like shaymin?
