Quick Question and Answer Thread / Breeding Questions

If i get the flower for Shaymin's Sky Form can any Shaymin i may have transform even from my Diamond/Pearl

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but you can transform any Shaymin to Sky form on Platinum with the Gracidea flower but when you go to trade it off of the game, I think even to another Platinum, it will revert back to its normal form.
 
Okay, I have a few, related questions, and answering any of them would help. The reason I ask has to do with catching latias in emerald, but I assume these rules haven't changed between games:

1. If the wild pokemon (latias) is level 40, and I use a repel, and my lead pokemon were level 41 and I ran around in the grass, is it true that latias would never appear?

2. If you stay in the exact same spot after saying "Red" after beating the elite four in Emerald and, say, bounce on the Acro Bike for 12 hours, would latias ever appear? I know that entering houses, changing routes, or flying resets Latias's position, but doesn't Latias move around and would eventually run into you?
 
If you evolve then breed it with a ditto, you can keep breeding until you get a female riolu.

BTW jpp8 quit doing that.

No, you won't see it with a level 41 pokemon as your lead with a repel. Your best bet is to lead with a 39. If you said red yes Latias will be the pokemon on the run but it only moves around when you change the area that you were in so just staying in one place won't help you find it.

Incidentally, Makuhita, Lucario, Magmar, and Croagunk can also pass both Cross Chop and Ice Punch to an Elekid, but it's a roundabout way of doing it.

Machop and Elekid can both also learn Ice Punch from the Platinum move tutor, so this breeding chain is sort of redundant.

Thanks - I kind of thought that from how it was going but wasn't sure if I was getting screwed by chance. lol

Edit: Do I actually need to change the area, or would it work to just go back and forth between routes, or in and out of a building like the bike path one?

Edit 2: lol just found it for the first time... though I'm trying to find one with good IVs so it could take a few months.

yes if you keep going back and forth between areas, and keep an eye on where the pokedex says it is, and once its in the same area as you, go in the grass

Nope, that's impossible since the Sky Forme, just like the Rotom Formes are not programmed into D/P, only Platinum and possibly the yet-to-come HG/SS

I know it's impossible to change Shaymins form in D/P but what about a Shaymin from my D/P that is traded to my Platinum, can that be transformed given iv'e activated the flower in Floaroma.

I have booth the event shaymin that I got from gamestop and a oaks letter one(probaly hacked) that I go on gts and the flower dosent work on the gts one only on the gamestop one

And another thing has anyone noticed that cubone/marowak l.ooks like hollows with masks from Bleach?, I just resently though of it, and I know pokemon came long before bleach and all its just a nice resemblems

Then it's very strange that you can't transform it... What does it say when you try, or is it just impossible to target it?
You know that it can't be in Sky Forme at Night or when it's inflicted with Freeze...
It could be a incorrectly hacked Pokémon, where someone has not hacked it correctly so that it's only almost a Shaymin; i once had a Garchomp that was just partially a Garchomp at all, since i hadn't specified where it was caught, and that caused major errors in the game i had it in. This can also be caused by incorrect Pokémon Modifier codes, that only changes some of the data in it.

You should try using the "Box Trick", just put in a box in the PC, save, Reset the game(either by L+R+Start+Select or the Power button), then withdraw it from the box and retry.

I wanted a Porygon egg and Porygon is genderless and in the mineral egg group, so I was wondering what should I breed it with to get a Porygon egg?

Two quick questions...

Ok i just have two questions:

1-Where do you find the stone to evolve kirlia into gallade?

2-To migrate pokemon do i have to be at a certain point in the GBA game? or does it just work at any time?

@ Charmander-

1. A Dawn stone is located in both Mt. Coronet and on Route 225
2. You have to have gotten the national dex and beaten the elite four for the pal park to work
