Quick Question and Answer Thread / Breeding Questions

To access the Pal Park, which allows you to transfer 6 Pokemon a day per GBA game, you must do the following.

Defeat the Elite Four at least once.

View all Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex, this will allow you to talk to Prof. Rowan with a event popping up with Prof Oak walking in, giving you the Nation Dex upgrade.

I suggest you battle EVERY trainer you see. This helps you view more Pokemon.

Battle every trainer even in the optional places or you might miss some out and definitely battle every trainer after Sunnyshore City, since most of the trainers are sole owners to about 20 pokemon

And yes, you can do it with one DS. That's what the GBA slot is for :P
However, once you transfer a Pokémon, it cannot return to the GBA games. So only transfer ones that you're sure you're finished with on the GBA.

I have a question.

When I check the summary for a few of my PKMN, they have a smilie face thats real small in the corner of the picture of the PKMN.

Is that the Pokerus symbol, or what is it?

That's a pokerus symbol.
If it's smiling or has a face like :| then yes your pokémon has pokerus.

Sure, you can transfer pokemon from generation 3 to 4. You can gain access to Pal Park after you beat the Pokemon League. ^^

I thought so, but I also always thought the the Pokerus symbol was like a purple box, and in it it had PKVS or something like that. Lolz
The purple box means that the Pokerus is active and it is able to infect other Pokemon. The smiley means it has been cured, is no longer contagious, but the affects still remain.

Okay, so I have a TRU Regigigas to unlock the other Regi's in Platinum; where will I find them?
Registeel is at the end of Iron Island. In the last room before you exit, there will be a new cavern in the right side of the room.

Regice is in Mt. Coronet just inside the entrance from the Snowpoint City side.

Regirock is in Rt 228 in the most Northern part of it.

You're correct.
The smiley face means that it has Pokerus (and works) but it can't spread it. The Purple Box with "PKRS" means that it can spread Pokerus.

Now that you know my team please help me find a place to train.Thank you for the help!

Thats easy. Train them where the Pokemon have the highest levels.

For your seventh badge? In my opinion it's the easiest gym battle in the game. All the Pokemon the gym leader has can be found in the Acuity Lakefront (except Abomasnow, who is the evolved form of Snorunt anyway). So just train there and you'll be well prepared.

Polkop, no, sorry. If you can't level up, you can't EV.
