A very brief update:

-Did all the stuff in Petalburg City.
-Caught a Taillow, nicknamed her Vogel, the German word for "bird" C:
-Went through Petalburg Woods, beat the Magma Grunt quite easily with Wasser.
-Battled all the Trainers on the way to Rustboro. Trained my team to lvl 10. Fliege evolved into Beautifly! :D
-Saved in Rustboro

So right now my team is:
Taillow (Vogel)
Wingull (Wasser)
Beautifly (Fliege)

Roxanne will be pretty easy with Wasser, plus Fliege knows Absorb which will only make things easier. Now to catch a Nincada to evolve into a Ninjask! :D

big big update:

-Defeated Archie. Cera learned Iron Tail
-Defeated Flannery and got Tm50, which went Straight to rupture.(now level 24 :3)
-Made my way along Routes 111/3/4 picking up a claw fossil(slash).
-Headed through Meteor falls. Notably added Zangoose (<3) to my Pokedex.
-gave claw fossil to man, walked out of room and back in and recieved slash (anorith)
-Defeated Norman with Slash, which gained 6 levels at that gym, and taught it Metal Claw.
-Rupture gained another Level (:3)
-Got Hm03 and Withdrew Marshtomp to get me back to mauville City.
-Psi Learned cosmic Power
-Zappy Learned rockslide
-Walked up route 118/9 and Defeated Aqua there. (didnt recieve castform due to full party.)
-Got the Devon Scope from stevo and defeated winona. (again a Pushover)

Timbjerr's Poison Monotype Challenge - Hoenn Edition

Sorry for lack of updates, computer problems kept me away from messing with my file, and losing to Norman three times kinda discouraged me. XD

-finally beat Norman (the challenge coming from the fact that ALL his pokemon know Facade, and all of my pokemon depend on status ailments like poison to win. XD)
-acquired HM03 and taught it to Tentacool
-surfed across to Mauville City
-received Basement Key
-made it through New Mauville
-received TM24 for my efforts
-surfed across to Rt.118
-traveled north towards the Weather Institute defeating every trainer along the way.
-taught Secret Power to Koffing just to play around with the Secret Base locations in this route
-Tentacool evolved in Tentacruel. :D
-saved game inside the Weather Institute..

Lots of progress today...I was bored and stayed up late. XD

-cleared the Aqua grunts out of the Weather Institute
-received a gift Castform and deposited it into the PC
-fought and defeated May
-arrived in Fortree City
-received the Devon Scope from Steven
-fought and defeated Winona on my first attempt. ^_^
-traveled south on rt.120 and rt.121, clearing the area of trainers
-played around in the Safari Zone for fun. Caught a Pikachu and a Doduo
-arrived in Lilycove City
-fought and defeated May
-bought a couple of TMs from the department store
-traveled to Mt. Pyre and cleared the interior of trainers
-defeated Team Aqua at the summit
-Blue Orb get
-flew to Slateport to intercept Archie only to watch him steal a submarine
-flew back to Lilycove to clear out the Aqua hideout
-grabbed the Master Ball while I was in the area
-surfed through rt.124 fighting all the swimmers along the way
-Koffing evolved into Weezing :D

You've miss-spelt Psychic and left out Dragon. Which brings me to another question: is it okay to trade a pokemon over if it isn't obtainable early-game? Such as Ghost and Dragon types.

I've already started a Normal Monotype on Emerald, so I'll report here.

I beat Roxanne with much, much difficulty. In the end I had to grind Slakoth (yes, Slakoth! Do you know how hard that thing is to raise?) to lvl. 19 so it would learn Faint Attack and evolve. She finally went down, I headed to Dewford. Winona (ie. Taillow) took care of most of the Fighting gym, Skitty having an excellent turn at the end with a nice Sing/Tail Whip/Doubleslap combo to take down his Makuhita. I've made my way to Mauville, doing all the usual Aqua stuff on the way, Zigzagoon and Whimsur have evolved, and now I'm preparing for Wattson's gym. His Magneton will be fun, considering that I don't have a single attack that hits Steel-types neutrally, and my entire team was almost wiped out by an NPC's Aron on the way to Mauville. This is gonna be almost as fun as Roxanne's gym....

Challenge​

'The Beginning'
​

• Picked the Male character, and named him –Super-
• Arrived at Littleroot, and set the clock.
• Visited May, who rushed of. >_>
• Investigated someone crying for help, who turned out to be the regions Pokémon Professor, Birch. Picked Torchic and defeated the Wild Poochyena.
• Nicknamed it Kiki (don't ask, something do with kicking, I think. :P)
• Ventured to Route 102, then arrived at Oldale town, where I received a Potion from a friendly shopkeeper.
• Arrived at Route 103, where Kiki levelled up to level 7. Fainted (surprisingly, not against May, but a Wingull. >_< Had to travel to Route 103, again, where I battled May.
• Beat her quite easily, and my Kiki rose to level 8. Stalked May to Oldale, and then went to the Lab.
• Got the Pokedex, and may kindly gave me 5 Poke Balls.
• Saved the game.
Next, I have to go to Petalburg, and then Rustboro. :P
