    BLEH!

Beat the crap out of Wallace, but...now one road block.

    The Elite Four.

I was lazy and didnt use a persim berry on kyogre, led to my demise and died against the dark guy in the elite four. One more try, fail? Go back to training >.<

Ok, now I'm mad, Glacia's Walrein OHKO'd my kyogre with sheer cold, guess I'ma go train later lol,

Ay-ay-ay-I just realized how much grinding a Dark-only game would take. Brawly would be a nightmare..and Wattson after that...

So I'm gonna take the wuss route-Fighting.

So far I have a Level 12 Careful Torchic and a Level 8 Rash Shroomish, which will become a Breloom, of course. It was hard enough to find a Shroomish, and its Defenses suck anyways, so I'm not too concerned.

I am at the entrance of Petalburg Woods, and am ready to grind trainers to get both Pokemon to at least level 14 before fighting Roxane. If I come across a Slakoth, I'll trade it for a Makuhita in game, or catch a Maku myself in the cave.

I will make a formal writeup after defeating Brawly.

Thanks. But remember, Solrock and Lunatone aren't the fastest of pokemon, and speed is the most important stat. I don't have a plan yet, but I'm confident that a few quick strikes can take them down. Also, Hariyama's monstrous HP should allow him to fire off 1 or 2 Fighting moves, which don't take a penalty against the pokes because they are also Rock.

As for Winona, I'm not worried. Blaziken can sweep w/ Slash and a Fire move for the Skarm. Its defense should allow it to take 2 hits if necessary, and there are always Revives.

    LOLOLOL. xD

Anyway, I have a question: Do any of you know where an EV / IV / Hidden Power calculator is on the internet? I've heard of PsyPoke, but can someone give me a link? I tried searching Google but it gave me something else the whole way through.

I need one to help me figure out Kurabatto's and Nayru's Hidden Power once I get to Slateport.

IV calculator is here on Serebii:

    http:**//serebii.net/games/iv-calc.shtml

    take out the red '*'

And you better not beat me on this challenge. :(

    -Saphira's Rider,

Actually, Fighting has to go on hold right now: if someone else wants it, I relinquish it to them...my game is turning into a monospecies challenge with Combusken, and its getting rather annoying to work with Maku and Shroomish.

...with only about seven lines to pick from to make a team of six in the end with, the Electric run sounds like a great challenge. I'm starting an Electric run. Ohhhh, this is going to be one long haul...

Oooh, I was wondering if I was going to have to do that one. xD I plan on doing them all, eventually. ;3 Nice pick, however, I highly recommend transferring over a pokemon so you have something to start with. Otherwise, you won't have an electric pokemon until Slateport. O_o

Sorry I can't update tonight, not only did I have a few things to do (namely grocery shopping), but I also had to run a defragment thingy on the computer, which bogged it down today, so I wasn't able to play today. ;-; Sorry, guys.

    I promise I'll make a delicious update tomorrow. ;D

Seeing that mtr12 has stopped the Dark only run, I think I'll give it a try

It is fighting and if you wanted to do his, then its fighting otherwise, may the shadows look over you.

As Rock said, trade one over. It is not compulsary but recomended you do. Also good luck.

    R/S Monotype Challenge
    Day Two Update

I reset Ruby, and the adventure began...
Well, I chose against transferring 'cause it would be too easy, so I canned my Marshtomp at the Trick House and got myself a Minun, MADISON, and an Electrike, CALEB. I spent a bit training them and looking for a Plusle, but I tossed that pursuit (and therefore chose my final lineup...all Hoenn Electric lines 'cept Plusle).
Wattson was easy; never has Encore been so useful...letting it paralyse me followed by Encore worked for Magneton. The Hikers I've had to strategically avoid...Maxie was hard until I learned that Camerupt knew Focus Energy. Encore...
Flannery isn't worth any details, and Norman was abnormally difficult (two single-stages versus Slaking? Yeah...)
Next stop: Mew Mauville...I meed t' grab a Voltorb and Magnemite before advancing.

At five badges, here's where I'm at:
    Lv. 35
    R/S Monotype Challenge
    MADISON

    -Spark
    -Charge
    -Quick Attack
    -Encore

    Lv. 27
    R/S Monotype Challenge
    CALEB

    -Spark
    -Thunder Wave
    -Quick Attack
    -Howl

    Lv. 8
    R/S Monotype Challenge
    LUCASA

    -Tackle
    -Rock Smash
    -Tail Whip
    -Cut

    Yes, I wrote in yellow.

    - Saved Mt. Chimney after defeating Archie, the Team Aqua Leader.
    - Climbed down Mt. Chimney and ventured into Lavaridge Town.
    - After some minor preparation, I stepped into the gym doors.
    - Challenged the Lavaridge Town Gym; summary of the entire gym: "Tentacool used Bubblebeam!" I defeated Flannery and got the Heat Badge.
    - Did some final training, clearing out as many trainers as I could find before making my way back to Petalburg City.
    - Challenged the Petalburg City Gym. Nothing too difficult. I defeated my father, Norman, and received the Balance Badge.
    - Did as many of the Trick Master's challenges as I could for training and the items he gives me after besting him.
    - Made my way back to Mauville City.

Currently: Heading toward New Mauville to turn off the generator hidden inside.
