3rd Gen R/S Monotype Challenge

Rules
-This is NOT a race.

-If you want to do a Dragon or Ice monotype you have to either trade a Dragon or Ice type over from another game or not do that type, considering those to types take a while to find.
-You may use your starter up until you get a the Pokemon of your type.
-If your starter is your type then you may use it.
-The chalenge is over when you beat the Elite Four for the second time.
-Now anyone can join anytime you want even if all types are picked.

If I think of more rules I'll post them. Please try to update as much as possible.

Its in the rules that multiple people can have one type. And whats the difference between R/S/E? There isn't much and since it isn't a race, its not like I would gain an advantage.
 
Seeing as the rock dude won handily (I think) can I do the next one? I'll use Ruby BTW (Solrock FTW!).
If not I'll try fire(there arent that many fire pokemon though to be honest)

Trained mudkip to level 16 and evolved it into marshtomp

I'm going to participate in the Dark-Type Monotype Challenge. I've got most of this planned out. ;D Going by the rules, I should be allowed to, right?
 
I started a Bug challenge a long time ago but didn't start working on it until yesterday.

My current team is:
Volbeat Lvl. 13
Illumise Lvl. 14
Nincada Lvl. 15
Surskit Lvl. 16
Beautifly Lvl. 22

Trying to get them all to the same level so they are equal. Need to evolve both Nincada and Surskit.
 
I think I'll take a break from hunting for shiny mudkip and do another monotype challenge.
I'll be attempting either fire or fighting, but most likely fire, because I want to use the banner I will now edit into my signature!
I plan to use blaziken, charizard (I have one on Emerald I can breed), ninetales (If I can find a fire stone), flareon (another trade from Emerald, which will have priority for the fire stone), and maybe camerupt. I really like numel's cry. Wakuguak!

I've been soft resetting for a good IV'ed, female torchic. So far they've all had only 19 hit points and one or two were bold. Ugh. No luck so far.

- Started game.
- Character: Male, Name: LEE.
- Selected TREECKO as my starter.
- Beat May, my rival.
- Obtained a Pokedex and some pokeballs.
- Caught 2 Zigzagoon, my Poochyena, and another Zigzagoon.
- Trained / battled my way through to Rustboro.
- Trained up a little before I challenged the first gym.
- Challenged Rustboro City Gym, beating Roxanne (Treecko saved the day. Poor Poochyena. x.x) and obtaining the Stone Badge.
- Battled my way through to Rusturf Tunnel, where I defeated the Team Aqua Grunt, and Saved Peeko for Mr. Briney.
- Traveled to Dewford Town.
- Went to Granite Cave.
- After making it to B2 of Granite Cave (Repel abuse ftw), I caught Sableye.
- Delivered Mr. Stone's letter to Steven, got the Steel Wing TM, and exited Granite Cave.
- Trained Sableye to almost catch up to my new Mightyena.
- Challenged the Dewford Town Gym, effortlessly breezing through it with Sableye, and ultimately dominating Brawly (his Makuhita was the only pokemon in the entire gym to hit me, and it was only Knock Off that hit me), obtaining the Knuckle Badge.
- Sailed to Slateport.
- Defeated the trainers on the beach / in the soda shop.
- Delivered the Devon Goods to Captain Stern and removed Team Aqua from Slateport City.

Currently: Making my way to Mauville City.

Picking up where I left off, the adventure continues...

- Went back and stocked up on Soda Pop.
- Battled through the side-route near the Trick Master's house.
- Completed the first challenge by the Trick Master.
- Beat May after finding her on my way to Mauville.
- Continued battling / training until I reached Mauville City.
- Dismissed Wally's (rather sad) attempt to beat me, and made him go back to Verdanturf.
- Decided to wait on taking on Mauville's gym and headed to Verdanturf.
- breezed on into Verdanturf.
- Headed back to Mauville City, prepared to challenge the gym.
- Challenged the Mauville City Gym, and after recovering from a few bumps in the otherwise easy battles that insued (I hate you, Magneton... -_-), I beat Wattson and obtained the Dynamo Badge.
- Taught Treecko Rock Smash and cleared the rocks clogging up Rusturf Tunnel, getting the Strength HM in the process (Treecko learned that, too, soon after).
- Defeated all four members of the Winstrate Family, obtaining the Macho Brace.
- Cleared the smashable rocks previously blocking my path and continued onward toward Fallabor Town.
- Battled my way through the massive amounts of trainers, going through the ash-ridden Route 113, finally making it to Fallabor Town.
- Fiddled around in Fallabor, then headed onward toward Meteor Falls, where I, along with Team Magma, ran out Team Aqua.
- Curved around Meteor Falls, back into Mauville, eventually making my way to Mt. Chimney.
- Saved Mt. Chimney from Team Aqua, (easily) defeating Archie and thwarting his plans.
- Curved down and into Lavaridge Town (finally!).
- I trained a little to make sure I wasn't going to lose to the Lavaridge gym.
- I challenged the Lavaridge Town Gym, sailing smoothly, with the exception of Flannery's Torkoal, who hates me (I hate him, too). After a short-but-fierce battle, I defeated Flannery and received the Heat Badge.
- After meeting up with May and gaining the Go-Goggles, I headed into the desert of Route 111 and caught my third team pokemon: Cacnea.
- Trained Cacnea a bit near Verdanturf, then in the desert of Route 111.

Currently: Training Cacnea (my soon-to-be Cacturne), then heading back toward Mauville (I might stop by and give Professor Cozmo his Meteorite back, too).
