I think I'll trade them all in as eggs as I like having them all from the very beggining, also to evolve onix-steelix, magmar-magmortar do I have to find the item in the game or can I trade to another game and then trade back with the item?

Well with Ruby, not only does Seviper never appear, but you can't get Beldum until after the E4, when the challenge is already over, so I don't know how do-able this roster is on Ruby.

Alright, so I continued on just using Onix and Hoothoot until i got to Bugsy's gym. The trainers were all easy due to my type advantages and Noctowl who just evolved took down Bugsy's Kakuna and Metapod, while Onix took down his Scyther. After that I caught an Oddish and a Hoppip which I bred with a trained exeggcute to allow it to learn confusion. After that, it was on to take on Whitney. Once again Onix easily took down both her Clefairy and her Miltank and I was able to obtain my third badge.

Just got my fourth badge. I went in thinking that I would get destroyed so I wanted to keep my Noctowl out of battle as I thought it would have the best chance pf taking down Gengar. I lead with Skiploom and used the same strategy of Sleep Powder, then Confusion for each pokemon and surprisingly Skiploom only took 5 damage the entire fight while defeating all four of his pokemon.

Everything basically stayed the same except Onix is Lv. 28, Noctowl is Lv. 28, Skiploom is Lv. 26 and Gloom is Lv. 24 as well as replacing Sweet Scent with Acid

Eternal Nightmares Random Quest 4

I have cleared the beach, explore the city and obtained some items, and beat Team Magma. Now it is time for me to train Tentacool and Aron while setting off for Mauville City.

I run into May and she sweeps my Team with Marshtomp, as everyone is weak to mud shot ><, but i manage to win the second after some more training and her stupidty of using bide with Marshstomp. After more battles with wild pokemon and trainers, we arrive in Mauville City and head straight to the Pokemon Center before exploring the city.

Exploring the city, I obtain HM Rock Smash, a brand new bike, and a Torchic Doll. Now I talk to and defeat Wally before setting off to explore the different routes to defeat more trainers and also train Tentacool and Aron more. During this time i deposit Zigzagoon into the daycare so hopefully she can become a Linoone soon for Strength later on. Also I go down the Cycling Road to battle the trainers there and get back to Slateport City to buy Harbor Mail to obtain a Coin Case. Afterwards, nothing but more training for Aron and Tentacool

Everything is all set and done so now its time to take on the third gym and obtain my third badge. Aron pretty much dominated the gym trainers and took out Wattsons first pokemon while Combusken took out the last two winning me the Dynamo Badge and I also recieve TM Shock Wave. Now off to the next destination we are but first I head to the Pokemon Center to heal and get Zigzagoon out of the PC(took her out of daycare during training) so she can use her new HM Rock Smash :D so i can get pass Route 111 and beyond. Thus ending this update. The next update will kick off from the next town or so, so see ya there.

Alright, I got started.
I'm not very far yet though, so all my progress can be summed up with this screenshot:

Names are from the ChumHandle generator and my starter was totally Mawile. Catching most of these was easy, only Corsola was a pain, took me like 5 Pokeballs.

Well lets see, I started the game with Mudkip. I had to beat 3 gyms with using up as little trainers as possible till I caught my Numel. I hate the rival's Grovyle and its Absorb. I then caught a Zangoose and a Solrock. Soon later Numel evolved into Camerupt. I then beat the 4th gym easily. I am now at the desert and can't decide which fossil to take. Some one tell me either to get the Root or Claw Fossil.

At first I did some grinding, getting my team to level 7.

Here I buy an Everstone in Petalburg (it replaced some kind of mail), for Numel.

I beat Roxanne. This was totally not close at all and I totally didn't only win because of one missed attack in the right moment. Well, at least, it's still zero deaths.

Suddenly TastyBarbr the Numel died. It just died.

Brawly was easy though

Now I'm at Mauville, and having the old problem: Wattson. I'll have to grind to level 35 or something...

Well, this was easy. The low HP is just from not having healed for ages, since I was still having enough Bubblebeam PP.

And that's what happens when you spam Focus Punch, Norman.

I went and beat Norman and saved the weather institute. I then beat my rival and beat Winnona (she was easy).

Update #1 of a journey with absolutely pitiful pokemon!!!

Pre-Team:
-Since no starters were on my team, I just decided to pick Mudkip, to use later as a water HM slave
-Used HM slave as little as possible before going straight to Petalburg Woods and catching Shroomish, my first member

Real Start:
-Zipped through most of the beginning trainers (from the woods to Rustboro) with Shroomish
-Beat Roxanne's trainers, along with Roxanne (who was actually pretty difficult for using a grass type)
-Beat the Magma in Rusturf tunnel, fighting very few trainers in between
-Went for Dewford and shot straight for the letter delivery
-Skipped the Dewford gym for some Slateport grindage (aka the beach and the Magmas in the museum)
-Backtracked to Dewford gym to fight through it with my new Headbutt move (blacked out once after not saving for a while)
-Beat Brawly, went to Slateport, and failed to Beat Brendan
-Eventually beat the jerky Brendan and got to Mauville
-Beat up Wally and grinded to Lv28 before fighting Wattson and his Steel types that can do 20 damage a turn, paralyze you, AND confuse you!!! (And his selfdestructing Voltorb)
-Beat Wattson after some amount of tries that I stopped counting after the double digits
-Backtracked to Dewford to FINALLY get my 2nd member, Nosepass
-Fought a lot of previously skipped trainers to level-up Nosepass
-Progressed to That Mt. Chimney area and caught Koffing in that whatever-cave I forget the name of, and also caught Machop right outside the cave
-Progressed to Fallarbor town after everyone but Shroomish (Lv29) failed to keep up
-Grinded Nosepass until it learned Thunder Wave, and did the Same for Koffing and Sludge
-Fought through to Meteor Falls
-Met the Aquas and walked back to Slateport to buy Harbor Mail
-Went to Mauville to get the Coin Case and the Mach Bike (late)
-Spent all my money on coins and gambled for a while before realizing that Ice beam would be learned naturally by Snorunt (in the future), Thunderbolt would be obtained from the New Mauville sidequest, and I wouldn't need Flamethrower until I got Flygon, so I didn't need to gamble at all yet
-Prevented the men in red from dropping down Mt. Chimney (but it took a ton of tries)
-Got to Lavaridge and grinded Nosepass until it learned Rock Slide (and I taught it Strength)
-Beat Flannery, which was somehow the easiest fight yet, with Nosepass and Shroomish's Leech Seed
-Saved and quit the game, because I couldn't take anymore!!!
