Hmm... the earliest i can catch one of my pokemon is route 110. I'm gonna trade an oddish egg over.

Here's my plan...
trade over Oddish egg at the beginning, catch a baltoy in the desert, voltorb in New Mauville, Rhyhorn in the safari zone and Spheal in the shoal cave. My only problem is that in the 4+ years i have been playing the 3rd gen games, i have never once been in shoal cave

Edit: Plan change, going to trade over eggs for both Oddish and Rhyhorn, just so i can have 2 pokemon before i have 4 bagdes, and to have a chance against Flannery

I have to Spoiler this one, as since the last update, I've gotten the last few badges from Johto, I'm currently training to beat Clair at the moment.

Spoiler:

*Battled Morty. Won (Quick note: I didn't add the Burnt Tower part. Who is Euisine, anyway?)
*Went to Mahogany Town, was going to battle Pryce, but entrance was blocked
*Realized that I had to go to the Lake of Rage
*Defeated Red Gyarados (Programmed into game) just for the heck of it cause I caught it on HG already
*Went into TR's 'secret' hideout, did everything to finish it (Too lazy to type it all. XD)
*Battled Pryce. He was too strong. Re-Challenging
*Went to... Jasmine's town
*Got through Light Tower, learned of Amphy being sick (The 3D part is amazing, by the way!)
*Got to Cinawood, battled Chuck Norris, won (Easily, may I add.)
*Got Fly from his wife (Though I don't need it, as Golbat has had it for a while from an Egg Move)
*Flew to Jasmines' Town, challenged her, won
*Went back to Pryce, challenged, won
*Got to BlackThorn
*Clair was too strong...

The next update will be when... I defeat Clair and the Elite Four (Not the Champion. The first four. Notice how he uses Dragon Types, just like Clair? Annoying as hell.)

My Final Team Is Here!!!

Update since I beat Winona (over the span of 2 days, memory's kinda fuzzy):
-I immediately went to Lilycove before getting the Magmas at Mt. Pyre
-I do a full scale cover of Mt. Pyre for the Lax Incense and Shadow Ball, along with beating the Magmas
-Go back to Slateport and end up grinding a ton before activating the submarine event
-Rearrange the Magma Hideout (I mean beat them)
-Go to Shoal Cave to catch my Snorunt
-Grind Snorunt to catch up with the rest of the team before taking on (and completely sweeping) the Mossdeep Gym
-Dive down into the depths and leave the newly evolved Flygon behind in place of my HM slave
-Defeat Maxie again (I don't remember how easy or hard he was)
-Go to Sootopolis and defeat Groudon
-Challenge the Sootopolis gym, and defeat Wallace with the work of my whole team (minus Nosepass)
-Surfed, dove and Waterfalled to Ever Grande City, and then came to my senses and taught Flygon to fly
-Went back and rematched trainers for tons of levels (also got Dragon Claw)

*Trained a little bit, after 2 more attemps, I finally beat Clair
*Clair was acting all immature and wouldn't give me the Badge, even though I beat her
*Went through Dragon's Den, sprayed Max Repel, got to Temple, answered questions, got badge from Clair
*Went back into Temple and got Extreme Speed Dratini (Pure win)
*Got Dragon Pulse from Clair for beating her at the Gym
*Went to New Bark to get Master Ball from Elm
*Went to Ecruteak and beat all 5 Kimono Girls
*Went to the Whirl Islands and caught Lugia for my Poké Dex after the Kimono Girls summoned it
*Went on the path to Victory Road (I hate how there isn't even a Pokémon Center before you go to Victory Road. :/)

[Eternal Nightmare]

Eternal Nightmares Random Quest 8: The Semi Finale

After exploring and battling various trainers on the water routes and a bit in the Cave of Origin, me and my team enter the gym. The puzzle was easy but i decided to make sure i fall because skipping trainers is no fun. It was all Zangoose there dominating all the opponents with Crush Claw before facing Wallace.

During our battle, Zangoose Swords Danced twice and Luvdisc planted a Sweet Kiss causing confusion but Zangoose still bypassed confusion and wiped Luvdisc out with Crush Claw. Next, he sent out Whiscash and luckly Zangoose snapped out of confusion and knocked Whiscash out with a Crush Claw. Next was Sealeo and he went back to his pokeball with one Brick Breal. Next up was Seaking but again one Crush Claw sent it packing. Last was Milotic and it to fell to Zangoose's Crush Claw. Yay i won my last badge, the Rain Badge, as well as access to Waterfall and TM Water Pulse. Now off to Evergrande City I go for the last step of this challenge, the Elite 4.

Simple arrival thanks to a max repel, minus the trainer in route. I head to the pokemon center first to swap Taillow with Nincada for Flash then I heal and save before heading out to the perilous Victory Road. Inside, I do more training before pressing forward and fighting plenty of trainers. It was too long and really perilous indeed...so much that it would be to much to type up really. Anyway, at the end of the road i fight and defeat Wally(he managed to KO Solrock only because he it was already low on HP) and now its time for the final challenge.

Inside the building, the first thing i do is heal definetly before swapping Nincada with Taillow and buying a few goods and save. Next, i fly back to Lavaridhe Town to go inside the Fiery Path where I obtain Toxic for Solrock, making him the main supporter of my team. Now i fly back to Evergrande City and swap Taillow for Nincada teach it TM Dig and head back out to Victory Road for more training. See you all for my final update

Update since Ever Grande:
-Since I felt like it as a precaution, I grinded my team to Lv50
-I went through Victory Road, battling as little as possible
-Fought Wally, and won, a lot!
-Grinded to Lv51 before facing the Elite Four

The Elite Four:

Sidney:
Sidney wasn't terribly hard, and by that I mean he's the easiest of them all to beat because he lacks defense. Machop only really fought Mightyena, and despite its Intimidate, one-shotted it with Cross-Chop. Then came Shiftry, which fell easily to Koffing's Sludge Bomb. When Cacturne came along, Koffing wasn't fast or healthy enough to stand up to it, so I brought in Snorunt, who struggled to take Cacturne's hits, but did the job. Sharpedo, honestly, I forgot how I beat it, but I think it was either Shroomish or Machop. Absol, perhaps the most frail of them all, went down to a barrage of Rock Slides and Strengths from Nosepass.

Phoebe:
Phoebe took a couple tries, not because of difficulty, but because I was just being stingy. Dusclops had a high defense, so I needed something super-effective to take it out, so it was either Snorunt or Flygon. Also, since there were two, I would have to use one for each. Since the second Dusclops had Ice Beam, I decided to open with Flygon and then run into the second Dusclops with Snorunt. Eventually, I had to take the second one down with Leech Seed, and the other pokemon fell quickly to Flygon and Nosepass.

Glacia:
Glacia wasn't as hard as Phoebe. Her Glalies both fell easily to Machop's Cross Chop and Low Kick, and Sealeo to Shroomish's Leech Seed-Stun Spore combo. Her only real problem was her Walrein, which only required a few Low Kicks from Machop to go down anyway.

Drake:
Drake wasn't too difficult either, except for maybe his Salamence. Flygon did most of the work here, taking out Shelgon and both of his own Flygons, and eventually Salamence, when no one else could take him out. Altaria, however, was Snorunt's domain, until it's Take Down took them both out.

Steven, the Hoenn Region Champion:
Steven was fairly difficult, probably the hardest of the five. Skarmory was able to get in Spikes on us, but it couldn't overpower Koffing's Thunderbolt for too long. Claydol fell prey instantly to Shroomish's Leech-paralyze combo, and then couldn't pull off enough moves to keep up with the health I was sucking from him. Cradily got some critical hits in, taking out both Snorunt and Machop in one hit a piece. Ultimately, I had to use Flygon's Earthquakes to take it out. Aggron fell to a one-shot Earthquake. Metagross, Steven's star pokemon, gave me an enormous amount of trouble. I was able to take it out with two of Flygon's Earthquakes, but they were difficult to pull off when Metagross has enough power to one-shot all of my pokemon. Last off, Armaldo. Armaldo was powerful, but Flygon could easily take 3 or 4 hits before needing to heal. I wanted to try a Leech-paralyze combo on Armaldo, but Effect Spore poisoned it before I could paralyze. Eventually, it was once again Flygon, the main power of my team, that took down Armaldo, and allowed me to defeat Steven, the final trainer of Hoenn.

I think this challenge got more fun as it went further. The pokemon were hard to use in their basest form, but when I could fully optimmize them, they got power I never would have thought they could have.
