rate my pokemon team. They suck i know, how can i make it better?

The reason we're so cynical with you is because you don't seem to be listening. Everyone here is telling you your advice wad bad, yet you feel it's golden. We have no prob with you, just with what you're saying. Like Smarties said, we all make mistakes team rating, but you have to be willing to take advice from more experienced trainers, like Smarties, Nightofshadow, Cakekun, etc. We all played from Blue/Red, so no one is impressed by that.

I was trying to explain something to Smarties. But then another person came and insulted my advice again. People like you have more respect(and I guess that's cause you have more posts), but why can't I have the same respect? It's not just the experts. Random posters say to me that I'm no good and that i'm not a good Trainer. Did some gossip come about me losing to someone in the PBR Tournament in Davenport? If that's true, than let's establish something to everyone else.

I didn't lose because I was careless. I lost because of luck. I wanted to get that Wii prize, and I worked very hard for it! But because of wretched fate, the d**n irony that has to exist, I lost on my first battle. And I don't even know why it had to happen, but it did.

I know my advice isn't good. But...I don't have anything else to offer. Pokemon has always been about enjoyment to me...but...(sigh) I just don't know anymore.

I'm not trying to be seen as a victim. I just want somebody to try for some compassion for my trying...for what I believe in.
 
Ok, just listen. We have no problem with you at all whatsoever. I don't even think Nightofshadow even cares about you. If you know your advice isn't good, don't give it. It only hurts BlueLucario. Then, rather than accept that you gave bad advice, you argue on, and challenge me to a match. We all love Pokemon, and I feel you will be a great user, but seriously. I get respect cause I accept critizism. I give great advice. But when I am wrong, I learn from it. When I give bad advice & get called out, I accept that & learn from it, rather than boasting on about how working with your pokemon & finding its strenghts is the right way. This isn't the anime. I asked Nightofshadow/Smarties-kun to help this trainer out. They read your post, and responded to that as well.
 
Actually, I have only been playing pokemon since D/P came out. Not since rby.

And no. I dont really care about you because i dont even know you. Sims is so awesome <3

Every person except you, (Excluding the Thread starter). Has posted something useful in this thread. Study the Pokemon Games up to DP/ Pokemon Battle Revloution, up some more. Then you Can come back and post some useful advice. If you don't however, then we're just gonna keep Flaming you. Btw, Quit Complaning about how we're Posting negative comments about you. You know why, Because every post in this Thread has told you why. Please go away, and if you're always going to complain and post Bad comments, Then never come back. Thank you, ~Itachi Uchiha. Gee, thanks(with utmost saracasm). Anyways, I've learned in the past few hours that criticism is what builds character. You bash at me, I come back stronger. I have an exstensive knowledge on Pokemon and I'm open to hearing suggestions from professionals. Nobody's gonna stop me from being me. I'm a new jb, baby! Yeee-haaa!

We are not bashing you, so please stop it. We aren't against you. But comments like that are what I mean. Rather than take comments showing you that your advice was bad, you would rather argue back and accuse us of ganging up on you. As Nighty said, we don't know you, and have no reason to bash you. Sure, we are blunt, but smart. We are all experienced, but that doesn't matter to you. Itachi said it perfectly. Get over that crack.

Exactly, how many times have we told you. 4-6 right? We're not Bashing you. We're just posting negative comments. Simply, becuase of two post's that were made by you. As i said before, go Study up on Serebii. Wait, There just plain mean there. Don't ever go to Smogon either. Besides, Some Experinced people on this site, Such as:Iceman3k, Don't like smogon becuase they play their own way. Some people like samson, (don't know if still does). play UU Team's such as Meganium. I myself play UU, I gave up on OU because of samson. So you see, People have their own way's of playing, But Not your way. It's just plain horrid. Like many people above me have said before, Post useful comments. Otherwise, you're making his/her Team worse, not better. And yes, nightofshadow Is an awesome player. Btw, i myself have an Awesome IV'ed Chikorita. And sims won't hesitate to report you if you flame or argue with people. I myself, have Viewed Thread's that he/she has posted in. And like said before, he reported them almost in an instant.

You can express your opinion, but not state is as a fact. The standard sets (which have been suggested several times in this thread already) are standard for a reason. Don't get me wrong, I love to see creative sets on commonly used Pokémon, but if you're going to rate something you should at least have some general knowledge on standard sets before giving other people suggestions. At least provide good reasoning as to why Gyro Ball and Psychic are good on Lucario if you want people to trust your advice. Unless something is completely self-explanatory, the set and its functions should be explained in detail because as every good player knows, a good set doesn't make any difference whatsoever if you don't know how to use it.

Iam listening to your advice, it's just that at this point in the game I'm not sure if it's possible obtaining these moves i should teach my pokemon. your only giving me moves i can only get after elite four is defeated. But if i ever come across something mentioned here, i'll let you all know.

You can Breed, but some pokemon that you need to breed are not avalible at this point without "Wi-fi". Where you can Trade or Battle people. All you need to do is add them to your Palpad. Enter their Name and Friend code, or put short, FC. Btw, Can i add you to my Friends List sims? Edit: You said i could add you, So i did.

Jb00000612, no one here is bashing you, they just gave constructive criticism about your rate and you should really learn to actually accept that criticism and improve. As for your Gyro Ball argument, Lucario's Speed is still too high to really make good use of Gyro Ball and Steel isn't a very good offensive type to begin with. Fighting covers almosty everything Steel does, but can also land a super effective hit on more types. As for Psychic, the only thing Lucario is going to take care of with Psychic are some random Poison types, few of which will actually stay in on Lucario to begin with. You should also study your type chart a bit better because anyone who thinks Grass is weak to Psychic obviously lacks even basic knowledge of effective battling. And as Sims has already stated several times, stop playing the victim here. Everyone here just wants to help BlueLucario here. If it means proving your statements wrong, then I don't see why they couldn't say so. If you don't want to improve your battling skills, then fine, but don't start complaining about how everyone's mean to you just because they're trying to help you. I don't want to see any more of this stupid argument; take it to PMs if you must.

I wasn't pointing that post at you. You've been taking the constructive criticism very well rather than just shrugging it off. ^^ You're the kind of person whose teams people actually like to rate because you really want to improve. ^^

I had a conversation with a good freind on msn. He said i needed a ground pokemon so I went to my PC and came across my Gastrodon I caught. It's lvl 40. and it knows the same attacks as a wild one.
 
Gastrodon fails. Get a gible. Check youtube for info :D Type in 'gible help'

Here is the future moveset.

Garchomp(evolved form)@Life Orb
Jolly/Hasty nature
252 Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Fire Fang/Fire Blast
Swords Dance

Once again, thats the moveset you wanna end up with :x
 
Gastrodon is underrated, and I mean that in a good way. He has great stats (horrid speed), but is outshadowed by Swampert, who does what Gastrodon does but better. Still, it is a solid choice, & I see no reason why you can't use it. If you need a Mudkip-for when you beat the game-I can send you one.
 
True, I'm just saying that if you like Gassy, its stats are good enough for you to use it. He's a bulky water-whatever that is.

I wasnt aware i was going to lose... Thats news to me

I just find that particular statement rather arrogant for someone who doesnt really know much about the game to begin with
