Aggressive? As in a young man smoking a cigarette? And does it have to do with pokemon? Is there a rule? :(
Those aren't photoshop filters, :(. They're screentones with layer affects.
I thought the text made perfect sense.

It's just a hack-thing banner. I can't even read some of the text easily. But it's fine, I guess. 5/10
 
I use Adobe Photoshop CS2.
Nice signature, but I can't read a bit of the text because it's purple and my background's black, :( Decent banner, I guess. Cool character.

@Mikami, I try keep a Pokemon signature on a Pokemon board. It isn't anything against you personally. Thanks for the 5/10, my signature is simply to spread word - not look really pretty. It was better than a two-liner it was before.

If you were on an any other forum I'd give you 6/10 simply for signature quality. The text underneath brought it down towards that! A piece of text inside it shouldn't hurt IMHO.
There may not be a rule but since it is my rating...You could say it is my own personal rule. You're right, cigerettes aren't exactly aggressive in themselves, it's just the image that doesn't sit right with me.

I think if you position the text to the left (or right) it would make it more seamless. Here's an example of what I mean by seamless:

Your previous signature was better IMHO Vavavoom, although it wasn't Pokemony.

5/10, again. I'm just a little hot tempered about stuff I work on myself. It's fine. XD And I don't really like placing text in my banners, but maybe next time. Also, I have a severe lack of decent images (and a knack for being picky about them as well) that I can use for themes, so I take what I can get that I like. Thank you. :)

The banner isn't great, and neither is the text, but still- it's a signature, and it's fine if you were aiming for color. Just not the best.

^^ I love the effects on the banner, and the artwork.
But the pink stripey thing in the pic just drives me nuts for some reason. But I really think you did a great job on it. So very nice!~

Awe, and the text, well it fits quite well, all in line. >-< and the first portion is humorous~ =D

I just hate the colors of the border... just the light blue... it doesn't compliment it very well >__<;;
