Heh, I hate them too, so this isn't just good news for JK XDKairi said:I guess it can't hurt. Really they don't have much use. "Oh wow, they didn't read my message yet, cause I don't have a receipt. Or maybe they just clicked no…"

And I would -love- to have them off period for all the groups. I loved when Andy turned them off for mods...
You hated it JK, when I turned it off you even started a thread about it off and wanted it turned back on. XDJKaizer said:I loved when Andy turned them off for mods...
Well it was a lot better in the older Version of vB. But it's for keeping track of your PMs. Lets say you send Tall Andy a PM, and you click yes on that pop up. Ok when he gets that PM before he can close the window or reply to whatever a pop up will come up. If he clicks yes you will get a Receipt (it's under "Folder Controls" box thing in your PM box). And that will say he read your PM and then the date shows up.eliana said:o.o;;
....They drive me crazy....
I dont even know what they do XD
Anyone care to explain?
The only thing I didn't like was how it had been so sudden, and that I had 6 confirmed ones that I couldn't delete. ;_;You hated it JK, when I turned it off you even started a thread about it off and wanted it turned back on. XD
That wouldn't work - the primary usergroup would them allowed, and would override the deny of the secondary usergroup.You know, all you guys have to do is make an additional (not primary), joinable usergroup to deny Read Reciept.
Because he got tired of us complaining? I doubt many of the members, if any, know that you can turn them off.um why did he turn them off for mods and not everyone? I mean no one really uses them except for ppl who don't know what cancel does, and a few others. it doesn't really affect the mod's job just gives them a privilege sorta.
