Not bad for an alpha but at a bit over 2000 years of age he would be far from being one of the oldest reapers, even Nakazumi's character who is around 6000 wouldn't be since the reapers have existed as long as the first sentient life, which may not even have been in Geos (Earth's realm). Other that he sounds intriguing and I look forward to seeing your finished SU.

I will be submitting the SU as soon as heretostay123 has completed his SU and Orange has posted his SU (unless of course he hasn't posted it by tomorrow when his reservation runs out).

Okay guys since I have removed oranges reservation that gives us everyone ready so I am going to submit the IC.

I will probably repost this in the IC but here is the description for Chapter/Mission 1. If you have any problems with this let me know :)

Mission 1


Group A (Adrian, Destiny, Luka, Nox) - A huge coven of vampires has appeared and is using a large, abandoned warehouse in Moscow, Russia as a home. It is believed that they were spawned through harbinger magic and that several harbingers are also present in the nest. The warehouse is in a heavily industrialised area and as such is very lively during the day but is fairly dead during the night. You and your fellow reapers will scope out the warehouse and the general area around it during the day and attack the nest as soon as the area is clear. Vampires are difficult to kill needing to be stabbed through the heart, have their head removed or be burned by sunlight or fire, but are not a huge threat to you; any harbingers present however will be a big threat as they possess all the powers of a reaper.

Group B (Alicia, Seth, Byrne, Spencer) – A tribe in the Saharan Desert has come across an ancient burial ground imbued with demonic energy that was previously unknown, even to the Grim Reapers. They are going to conduct a ritual in order to utilize this energy to grant a wish, which could go one of two ways
• They will wish for control of the climate and succeed; thus hugely unbalancing the Earth or:
• They will wish for control of the climate and not succeed giving themselves as unwilling sacrifices to the demonic energy which will likely manifest itself into a gigantic physical form.
You will need to either stop the tribe from starting the ritual or kill whatever monstrosity the energy manifests itself in. The mission itself is simple enough but there is the trouble of finding the location of the nomads in the huge desert.

I'm glad you approve. I chose the groups based on what I thought were good matches for the introduction and interaction of characters. You won't always be working with the same group though, hell missions could have as little as one person.

Which by the way is what will happen to any latecomers who wish to join. They'll get a solo mission whilst this part is concluded.

It would, but, if you are searching a large desert for an ancient burial ground that not even the grim reapers knew about until recently it is generally good to have the seer who can locate objects with flame in your group. Besides Byrne will have great interaction with Alicia.

If you are truly bothered by his placement I can swap him with someone but where I have him makes sense.

And, lol, I have had some fun thinking of paranormal beings to use as Reaper NPCs. The main one being Slenderman, as well as the Rake. Technically speaking, Slenderman is a version of the Grim Reaper, I guess, so that should work nicely. The thought of using them here amuses me. xD

One of the main things you probably have noticed with this RP is that it makes a lot of use of the "all myths have some truth in them" belief so quite a few things are quite possible.

Edit: I just read that Heretostay will not be able to participate for some time. Due to this he is still to be treated as an accepted player but I will no longer be including him in the first mission. If he comes back before we have finished that part then he can have a solo mission.

Just a reminder for you all to keep looking for the IC thread as it will be popping up any day now most likely and to keep checking here for updates. I don't want this RP to die because people forget about it waiting.

I'm assuming we can either joint-post or just post and have our companions respond.

With that being said, I'd say some light GMing is in order so that things can go along more smoothly (You know, like having one person narrate that the group is moving as compared to having each individual post that their character is moving)

You have a point... If a group is not split up and the first person states they are moving than the rest of the group will need to follow suit so as not to really have to mention it multiple times. I'm okay with joint posting for this RP if you feel it is one hundred percent needed but I would prefer to focus on the individial aspect.

Basically...
Person A: We are moving
Person B and Person C: We are in your group therefore we are also moving.
Person C: I am going to split from your group and check over here
Person A and Person B: Something is happening here
Person C: Something else is happening here

Does that make sense?

Edit: Also can you all be sure to write in the third person.

Aaaaand . . . is it necessary for people to write in third person? I mean, that's limiting a person's writing style, as many people prefer first person. I think it's a little unfair, don't you? I, personally, tend to stick with third person, although I used to be a fan of first person.
One thing I don't like is when people write in the present tense, though. *stares at RedWing* >.>;

No worries Redwing. I'm not nit picking but in the future please put a little more detail into your posts although I have to admit, you write your character's speech perfectly exactly as I imagined her xD

@Nakazumi - You aren't the first I have already posted. But don't worry I don't mind waiting till tomorrow to see what you come up with.

@everyone - Don't forget that different parts of the world are in different time-zones so if two missions in different places are both occurring during the day you should assume that they are probably not happening simultaneously.

I write in the present tense because, to me, it gives the reader much more insight as compared to past tense.

Also, the reason the post is so short is because I'm the first one to post x_X Once the others have posted and we are actually moving, the posts will be longer and more detailed.

I had considered a sort-of thought-based monologue, but it didn't feel organic to the scene.
