Red Pill or Blue Pill?

You are officialy presented with two pills from a strange man in a suit. The man has orders from his supervisors to force you to take a pill. Refusing in taking a pill will result in being shot by both the man in the suit, and an unknown sniper some distance away. Making a violent or unexpected move will also result in youir untimely death. The man in the suit holds his hand out and tells you to take a pill. Before you do however he begins explaining the effects of either pill.

The red pill allows you to shapeshift, but only into things as small as a rat or as big as an elephant. You can change your race, body shape, even your gender. Any permanent marks you've had on your body, like tattoos will vanish. Serious injuries stay, however. The changes will simply be physical, this means when you transform into a younger version of yourself or someone else, Your body looks and is younger, but you will still die of age as if you have never transformed in the first place. Your brain is not affected, this means you cannot be smarter by transforming into a genius, but it also means that if you transform into a bird you will not have the intelligence of a bird, you will always have your normal human intelligence, in short, your intelligence cannot increase or decrease due to transformation. You can heal minor to significant injuries to some extent with transformation; the more serious ones cannot be healed with transformation. Any Transformation which requires a change in any bone structure in your body will also result in excrutiating pain as you feel the bones fracturing as they shift. However the bones heal almost instantly upon complete transformation.The red pill allows you to transform into fictional beings or extinct beings, but only within the rules of logic. Transforming into inatimate objects or non-biological organisms will lead to death due to the alteration of vital organs to a living organism.

The blue pill allows you to be completely self-sustainable. You no longer need to eat, sleep or even breathe. As well, your aging process has ground to a standstill. Your rate of healing is also heavily increased. As long as nobody drops a piano on you or a large bomb, you are effectively immortal. As a side effect, you no longer take pleasure from eating, sleeping, or breathing. The blue pill also negates the effects of traditional surgery, because as soon as they make an incision it heals up, it also removes things such as shrapnel or implants from your body. Effects from radiation are also negated within reason. A person taking the blue pill can survive a radiation level up to 1000 rads before subcomming to radiation poisoning. This exposure will also never lead to cancer. You are also able to survive in areas of little to no air for humans to survive due to the fact that air is no longer a necessity. However, traveling to areas of extreme temperatures or pressure changes will still kill you without proper equipment. Potentialy leathal substances will not kill you. Although you will still fall ill from the poison, your recovery will be swift. Electricity and acids with a high ph level will still kill you since they cause damage at a faster rate of damage than the pill can heal. The blue pill will not be able to repair any brain damage if the brain is not intact.

Taking either pill would be a life-changing miracle, however, you can only pick one. Mixing both pills in your system would result in a poison that would kill you instantly. The Blue pill's healing is not strong enough for you to survive the poison of both pills. Choose wisely.

I'd take the Red Pill- I wouldn't want to be 'immortal' and watch everyone I love die around me. No matter how long I lived and how many people I ended up caring for, it would still be extremely painful every time I lost someone.

The other one. The pain you feel due to shapeshifting can be avoided just by never using said power, and I really find that power more interesting than the plain boring "being immortal".

Plus I love sleeping and eating too much. It would be horrible if I were denied the pleasure from a good meal.

The "Red Pill", being immortal is the worst thing ever and shape-shifting is much more interesting, however I won't be doing extreme shape shifts like turning into a crow as that would be much too painful.

I'd choose the red pill, because...well, shape shifting is cool. I could also become a huge phenomena by turning into a mythical Griffin, or maybe a fire breathing Dragon. Besides, a cockroach could survive nuclear bombs, so that makes me immortal to what you couldn't be as a normal human that eats the blue pill.
Can you shape shift certain parts of your body only, like having bear arms and Hercules beetle wings while still maintaining your human form?

I would choose neither of the pills as life in either circumstances would be excrusiating in the different ways stated.

Idk to be honest. If I took the red pill, considering my personality, I would probably turn into an inanimate object out of curiosity.

On the other hand, immortality would be horrible. I honestly don't know.

Lotsa people take immortality as bad thing due to watching people die, but in my opinion being immortal would open a gateway into transcending time, watching history pass and basically becoming a higher-being, having collected knowledge from all sorts of eras and times o:

Unlike most people (though contrary to the results of the poll thus far), I would definitely take the blue pill (immortality-ish). I spend a lot of time just thinking about stuff in general, and one of the things I often think about is my purpose in life and why I choose to continue living (don't get me wrong; I'm not suicidal, I just like to know why it is that I choose to keep living). The reasons I come up with usually aren't related to friends or family, they're related to one of two things: entertainment and the pursuit of knowledge (and anything that may potentially come from that). While I would be saddened by the deaths of my friends and family, they are things that I would get over. I would be much happier to have more time on this world, because it would mean I could learn much more and accomplish so many things. That is something that would make me much happier than a finite life... or a finite life with shape-shifting. :P

I'm taking the red pill and turning into a elephant sized killer crow for the rest of my life, thank you very much. Since I would not change back on my own will (because being an elephant sized killer crow is just awesome) I would only feel the pain once.

Is there a green pill that makes you generically awesome? Because I'd take that every day as a vitamin supplement.
