When catching duplicate pokemon such as ditto. Do you use a Repeat ball or another ball?

Repeat Balls have an increased catch rate when used on Pokemon you have already obtained, so definitely use them if you want.

When I remember to keep a stock, yes. The repeat ball is one of the best for catching duplicates, more so when you are "farming" for a rare held item or optimal nature. Otherwise, I usually stick to the classic Ultra or Dusk when it's night time, as I seldom use any of the other situation-specific Pokeballs (Net, Dive etc.)

Quick Balls and Repeat Balls are handy for catching Trade Fodders!

Well the repeat ball does have a 3x catch rate which is good. The best thing is to use quick balls who have 5x catch rate at the first turn and repeat balls should be used if you weren't able to catch it. Note that dusk ball and dive ball have 3.5x catch rate so they are better if you want to catch pokemon while surfing/fishing or in caves/nighttime, but the repeat balls are the option for pokemon in the grass during day time. Also using capture o-power with quick ball helps a lot.
