im not a big fan of alakazam though.. dont know why. And blissy.. Im gonna switch her for maybe zapdos? Alakazam.. gardevoir would be a good replacement?

Imo

what does IMO stand for??

Can anyone make me a team that meet these criteria:
Should have: Spikes, Rest, Sleep Talk, Rapid Spin, Haze/Whirl Wind/Roar, a Sleep move
and something to counter Dragon Dancers/Sword Dancers (I absolutely hate em)

Thx in advance.

Basic quintessential team =/. I'll make a spiced up one for you though.

Thx for helping. U're pretty fast....

I do what I can:

Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Focus Punch
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Rock Slide

Showing up in a lot of teams today.

Gengar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 44 HP / 216 Def / 108 Spd / 140 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hypnosis
- Ice Punch
- Thunderbolt
- Will-O-Wisp

I stole these EVs. Apparently you can survive Dragon Danced hits from Gyarados and Salamence and OHKO them the next turn.

Forretress (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 64 Atk / 192 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Rest / Explosion / Hidden Power [Bug/Steel]
- Spikes

Rest was my first option, earlier in the team building, but as you look further down, your other options might serve you just as well.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP / 40 Def / 56 Spd / 36 SAtk / 136 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Heal Bell / Hidden Power [Grass]
- Psychic
- Recover
- Reflect

If you think the team can stand on its own, go with Hidden Power [Grass] over Heal Bell. the SAtk might not be necessary, you can flood that into more Def or SDef. It's also a good idea, in some cases, to thin out the EVs a bit more to give it a 270-271 Speed stat, if you'd like.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 228 Def / 40 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

The cool versions of Swampert use even more defense, now that Tyranitar is just screwing up the metagame again. You can also use Earthquake, Ice Beam, Roar, Protect/Hydro Pump. Stops Salamence and Tyranitar cold, as far as countering Dragon Dancers. We can let Gengar handle Gyarados with its surprise Defense stat.

Articuno @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 64 Spd / 56 SAtk / 136 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Ice Beam
- Roar / Heal Bell

If you have Swampert Roaring, you can use this as a Heal Beller instead (Heal Bell wakes it up when it uses it during Sleep Talk :D). Remember Heal Bell is an XD Mod for Articuno

Still a bit boring and standard, but at least it's flexible and solid. You shouldn't have any real problems with Swords Dancers, as Gengar can disable most of the common ones, while stuff like Ninjask and Scizor can easily be Roared away.

Hope this helps.

Thx for the team. Tried wit out except tht Articuno had rest toxic instead it it works pretty well, being able to counter everything as such. But only a few problems so far: Blaziken and SDing Heracrosses. Also is there any way to replace celebii and articuno since i'm planning to get it ingame for tourneys?

Venusaur or Ludicolo could possibly work.

How about Vileplume? I've tried using it before, but it seemed there was more to be desired. Could you give me a build for a VIleplume with aromatherapy, no sleep powder.
Thx

Thx

Seeing that Sleep Powder is one of Vileplume's premiere moves, my options are limited in making a moveset, but:

@ Leftovers
- Aromatherapy
- Leech Seed
- Giga Drain / Toxic / Stun Spore / Moonlight / Synthesis
- Sludge Bomb / Toxic / Stun Spore / Moonlight / Synthesis

(Though make sure you're using at least one offensive attack).

@ Leftovers
- Aromatherapy
- Sunny Day
- Solar Beam
- Sludge Bomb / Moonlight / Synthesis

I'm not at home, so I can't provide EVs, really. But I don't understand why you'd negelct Sleep Powder. Further more, Venusaur pretty much outclasses Vileplume, with Vileplume's only true advantages being Aromatherapy and Chlorophyll.

can you make me an in-game team for Emerald with an offensive Sweeper,Special Wall,Special Sweeper,Annoyer,Offensive Sweeper/Special Sweeper, and Defensive Wall based around Blaziken Please?
O_o

No, but I can make you an in-game Emerald team when I get time.

Vileplume is to act as a cleric and sleep it ain't fast enuf to sleep as effectively as the Gengar u gave me.

i want to request a team with swampert and tyranitar in it

I would like someone to suggest a team for my Emerald Version with the following restrictions

- No legendaries, and only rodent, canine, vulpine, weasel-like pokemon (or any that evolve from such type of pokemon) or any of these four pokemon as well (Absol, Rhydon Starmie and Charizard) but only max. of 2 of those.
- No two pokemon the same species
- Starters from any version that fit other criteria are ok
- No pokemon that evolve via trade.
- No Growlithe/Arcanine (haven't got one on Emerald)
- All pokemon should have different types of moveset (eg. only one Special Sweeper)
- No moves on pokemon that require getting a pokemon from any other version.
- Max pokemon with same element type: 2
- Would prefer the team to be flexible, but not vital

It sounds really difficult, but I prefer something to be my sort of team and theres such some I don't like.

Lies. Using Sleep Powder is as simple as switching Vileplume in on a Thunderbolt, and using Sleep Powder on the switch-in.

Soulflame, your request isn't difficult. Just redundantly worded.

How about Granbull as a cleric. Its got a great movepool with heal bell, roar, reflect, twave etc... But its defensive stats aren't great.
