Yeah, cut out the garbage spam, any more and you will both be infracted for it, Lutia and Lyulf. Take it to pm.

I know I am sorry about mine and Lutia's little "chat":nervous:.
She called me last night and told me what she thought of pokecommunity so I dont think We will hear from her again....Well.....until the next time I insult luvdisk anyway!

anyway enough blabber, how is this for an ariados?

Focus Sash
EVs: 252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
-Poison Jab
-Agility
-Spider Web
-Baton Pass

I hope to trap something and batton pass agility to something better, posion jab is for the sake of an attack but I am not sure of the EV's so could I get a rateing please thanks!

There is no point in loosing defence, go Adamant and this moveset:

Ariados @ Focus Sash/Leftovers (In OU, Leftovers is far better due to the sheer amount of Weather starters, I'm looking at you Tyranitar)
Insomnia Ability (Swarm is useless by the way)
Adamant Nature
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
~ Spider Web / Agility
~ Baton Pass
~ Poison Jab / Sucker Punch
~ Bug Bite / Sucker Punch

You could go with Agility > Sucker Punch, but I wouldn't recommend it as Ariados has a base Speed of 40 (which by the way is only 7 base points faster than Bronzong).

Really? is it that low? wow I knew it was slow but scince I have never used ariados I did not know it was that bad!
Sucker punch does seem like a viable option I admit so I think I will go with that moveset thanks (unless a better one is put forward of course!).

Post it in a new thread, this is a plae for requesting movesets not having entire teams rated. It will spam up the thread and people's requests may go unoticed. I'll give a full rate once you have :)

But I have tried to post it as a new thread twice now and it STILL hasnt shown up... what is going on? :paranoid:

That happens a lot, it seems. Try including EVs (even if you're unsure)- a mod should approve it if you do.

Aww, sounds like I missed out on something fun. :(

Also, I don't think anyone was ever insinuating that Luvdisc is actually useful.

Yep your right you did miss out but mabey that is a good thing cuz she is mental (no joke!)

Oh yeah, how is this for a darkrai? (Before anyone says anything yes it is a hack and no it is not mine, my mate asked for an idea what to use But I am clueless ....)

Darkrai @Leftovers
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
what nature to use....?
-Dark Void
-Dark Pulse
-Taunt
-Calm Mind

I kinda dont like mono-attack darkrai sets, Dialga owns you. But use timid for that set.

I really prefer this set.

Darkrai@life Orb
156 Atk / 176 Sp.A / 176 Speed
Hasty / Naive Nature
- Dark Void
- Thunder
- Focus Punch
- Dark Pulse

No more Icy Wind Blissey and Dialga problems =D.

That is true thanks a lot! Oh yeah could somone rate my Aself please?

Life Orb
EVs: 36 Atk / 220 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature
-Psychic
-Flamethrower
-Nasty Plot
-Hidden Power

Many thanks

What is that Azelfs HP and what purpose are those Att. EVs supposed to be serving? You have no Physical moves. The reason some Azelfs have Att. EVs is that they have Explosion.

36 hp <<Allows to survive a weaviles Pursuit should you stay in and a Specs Starmie surf =D

Unless you are going for Explosion and/or U-Turn which dont have any value on the Nasty Plot set.

But yeah, thats fine.

As for my query, Bronzong has got pretty decent attack. So what do we do with anything with half decent attack ? Slap a choice band on it lol

Bronzong@Choice Band
252 HP / 252 ATT / 6 DEF
Brave Nature
Trait : Levitate
- Gyro Ball
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Explosion / Payback

Obligatory EarthSlide for coverage. Rock Slide aso hits Zapdos, who resists steel and ground. Im thinking that since zong will almost always go last, Paybacks power will double, and along with Choice Band, will wreck bulky ghosts and psychics wanting to switch in. Explosion is just explosion and is awesome no matter what its on. Gyro Ball is this sets main selling point, between Brave nature and Choice band, i think it should rack up some serious damage.

What do you think ?

Looks okay to me Dark Azelf. Magnet Rise Magnezone or Probopass will rape it but other than that I'd say it could work.

Good moves for Suicune?

Hi, I'm trying to get some good moves for my Suicune.

Any ideas?

Yeah those probopasses are all over the place ;)

Suicune@Leftovers
Bold
252HP/252Def/6SpDef
Calm Mind
Surf
Roar
Rest/Ice Beam/HP Electric

Standard CM Cune.

I've just started my Pokemon Diamond game again because i simply couldn't defeat the Elite 4 with the pokemon i had. I can't remember the team that i had (i deleted the file ages ago now), but i was wondering if somebody could suggest a team that could defeat them easily without putting too much effort in (i want to save that for after i beat them, lol).

I don't have trading capability with Pearl, nor with any of the 3rd Generation games, and i'm prepared to start again, if necessary.

My team is:

"Kazza" (traded pokemon from woman in Oreburgh City), level 15; moves(s): Teleport

Chimchar; level 13; move(s): scratch, leer, ember, taunt

Geodude; level 13; move(s): tackle, defense curl, rock throw, rock polish

Starly; level 12; move(s): tackle, growl, quick attack, wing attack

Shinx; level 12; move(s): tackle, leer, charge

Shellos; level 9; move(s): mud-slap; mud sport, harden, water pulse

I'm currently at Floaroma Town, trying to get Team Galactic out of the Valley Windworks, where i am also training my pokemon.

I'm only asking my question now, so that i have plenty of time to train them as i complete the main storyline, rather then as one big dollop at the end.

The elite four really doesnt need any effort to beat. The game is aimed at ages 3+ and the difficulty matches that. Just play through the game, level up as much as possible, catch the box-legendry of your version and try and hit for super-effective damage. It really shouldnt be that much of a challenge.

I've already tried that strategy, which is why i'm asking for help in how to defeat them. Surely the purpose of this thread is to help everybody out, not effectivly critisise them.

I wasnt criticising, I was offering the only advice you effectively need. There are no established stregies since 99% of people found them extremely easy to bead. But if you need more help, I'd recommend the following:
Bug Dude: Infernape, flamethrower or equivilant on bugs, close combat or equivilant for drapion
Ground Lady: Gastrodon, Surf or equivilant on rocks/grounds, toxic and surf for water/grounds
Fire dude: Gastrodon, Surf or equivilant on fire types/Rock Types, earthquake on Normal types and luxray chrunches his ghost
Psychic Dude: Infernape's flamethrower on Zong, Straptor's ariel ace or equivilent on medicham, luxray crunches the rest.
Champ: Switch around as to hit for SE damage.

You shouldnt need muh more advice than that. If you had trouble first time round it was probably due to their levels being too low. Since you have diamond dilaga's roar of time can usually get rid of 50% of any poke's health so make use of that should the counter I've put above be dead. Then switch to another pokemon revive the needed one again.

He is absolutley right. Blindly level up, you should do fine. No real strategy for a CPU player.

I finally understand the EV and nature stuff completely now I need to understand IVs oh mind boggling. Anyway, what would be the ideal moveset for a Mild Mudkip? I restarted my game because I wanted to start fresh and setup SOME ev trained pokemon. By the end of my Sapphire game I want my team to look like this:

~Swampert(Mild)
~Manectric
~Breloom
~Metagross
~Salamence
~Skarmory

So if anyone is willing to help figure out movesets for them it will greatly be appreciated
