Anyone got good movesets/team for a ghost/dark team? I'm going to have Rotom, Froslass, Dusknoir, Houndoom, Honchkrow, and Tyranitar. What are some good movesets to protect them from their weaknesses and so forth?

Well in temporary, I want a strong team to take on a friend with sick pokemon and moves which is why I decided to ev train

In that case mixpert is your friend. You'll need to rebreed for relaxed though:
Swampet@Leftovers
Relaxed
252HP/136Def/120SpAtt
Surf/Hydro Pump
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Rest/Roar

Monotype team rarely work, it's not advisable because you get swept by single attacks. For example, Garchomp destroys your entire team either with EQ (TTar, Houndoom, Frosglass) and the others die to STABed outrages. The lack of resistances and the reliance on those who do resist quicly mounts up in this kind of team.

Shmeh... oh well.. Although I didn't understand a few of the things you said, I get the idea.

I kinda need help on deciding which pokemon would fill a specific niche for my team.

I'm looking for a Dragon-resistor which can take CBGarchomp Outrages, and can take down Celebi and Subseeder Abomasnow. Previously I had a RestTalk Heracross on that slot, but I needed a Steel for Outrage incase my primary counter is taken down.

You could always try Heatran, which is A) Steel, and B) the bane of most Grass types.

Bad news is a predicted Earthquake from Chomp will be mean to Heatran, but we can't get everything in life. =P

As magmortified said, heatran takes Outrages but not EQs. Skarm could be an option, STABed SE brave birds should hurt.

But how am I ensured that I will get a relaxed Swampert? Like I could get a sassy one and then I would have to keep breeding to get a relaxed one right? If that's the case I may stick with the Mild Swampert and focus on his special attacks. I was thinking his moveset should be like: Ice Beam, Surf, Earthquake, Protect. Raise up his SpA stat by 120 and his HP stat by 252. I am really in the shuffle here lol

I wasnt criticising, I was offering the only advice you effectively need. There are no established stregies since 99% of people found them extremely easy to bead. But if you need more help, I'd recommend the following:
Bug Dude: Infernape, flamethrower or equivilant on bugs, close combat or equivilant for drapion
Ground Lady: Gastrodon, Surf or equivilant on rocks/grounds, toxic and surf for water/grounds
Fire dude: Gastrodon, Surf or equivilant on fire types/Rock Types, earthquake on Normal types and luxray chrunches his ghost
Psychic Dude: Infernape's flamethrower on Zong, Straptor's ariel ace or equivilent on medicham, luxray crunches the rest.
Champ: Switch around as to hit for SE damage.

You shouldnt need muh more advice than that. If you had trouble first time round it was probably due to their levels being too low. Since you have diamond dilaga's roar of time can usually get rid of 50% of any poke's health so make use of that should the counter I've put above be dead. Then switch to another pokemon revive the needed one again.
Okay, thanks for the advice. Just one more thing - what levels would you recommend?

I guess Skarmory comes into CBChomp all right (bar, maybe, Fire Blast). But Brave Bird's going to have a tough time taking a defensive Celebi down if it gets Leech Seed in. Cool thing is Celebi doesn't actually do much after that if it doesn't pack HP Fire, so you have set-up time.

Abomasnow Blizzard also 2HKOs Skarmory - but, y'know, Abomasnow's not too common anyways.

I'd be a slight bit wary of using Skarmory to deal with them, but it can work out, I guess.

Attach an Everstone to a Relaxed Natured ditto, or start again and save infront of the suitcase with the Pokeballs in and soft reset for the right nature.

I'm not sure, I cant even remember what levels the E4 are at :P Try and be about 5 levels lower and you should do ok with correct prediction. I swept the E4 with a level 49 dialga and 56 Infernape so you don't need to be overly high.

Yeah you're right, I'm just offering examples. Its a very speific job to perform, countering two very different groups of pokemon. I suppose any bulky steel can do the former, but it's going to be triky finding one that can perform the latter.

I would like to make an uber team to beat my friend in an uber battle...this team doesn't have to be all ubers, just mostly and preferably with a Kyogre and/or Mewtwo.

Hi, I am here to request a team/movesets. I am in a competition with 7 of my friends and we are playing ruby/sapphire. It is a 6v6, dual person battle. So 2 pokemon out at a time. The rules for the competition is no legendaries(includes Regi's, etc.), no pokemon from other games(so just the ones in ruby/sapphire), and no items in battle. So if anyone could help, I have many teams in mind, but I am still new to this game and need help. We are battling in a few weeks so I do not have time to try out them all. Thanks for the help.

well, i looked on smogon and noticed that bastiodon has great defenses and was thinking if there was a defensive wall set for it.

so, my question is, can anyone give me a defensive bastiodon set, if there is one.

No, thats a common misconception, its awful as a wall its weak to 3 of the most common types in Competitive play : - Fighting, Ground, Water.

But w/e Roar/ Stealth Rock / Rock Slide or Stone Edge / Taunt or Earthquake.

252 HP / 96 DEF / 160 SP.DEF @Impish and use it on a SS team.

Wow, does this thing suck, it cant even blow up =/

Could someone give me the standard Deoxys E lead set please?

Deoxys-E @ Leftovers
252 HP/220 Def/36 Spe Modest

Spikes/SR
Psychic
Recover
Taunt/Knock Off

Spiker straight from Smogon.

Deoxys-E @ Leftovers
252 HP/184 SpA/72 Spe Timid

Recover
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Spikes/SR/Taunt

Psuedo Counterstar.

Generally Deoxys shouldn't be leading unless it sets up Spikes or Taunts, better if it does both, it generally won't be doing much earlygame as it is easily walled.

For Bastiodon it is generally better to go with Toxic/Swagger and run it as a special wall. Taunt and Roar are usable options, as is Rest, Bastiodon's horrible offenses do not warrant any attacks on it.
I would strongly suggest you use Probopass over Bastiodon as at least it can do something besides being setup fodder.
