Just to clarify, is this for an in-game team?
Well in temporary, I want a strong team to take on a friend with sick pokemon and moves which is why I decided to ev train
Anyone got good movesets/team for a ghost/dark team? I'm going to have Rotom, Froslass, Dusknoir, Houndoom, Honchkrow, and Tyranitar. What are some good movesets to protect them from their weaknesses and so forth?
I kinda need help on deciding which pokemon would fill a specific niche for my team.
I'm looking for a Dragon-resistor which can take CBGarchomp Outrages, and can take down Celebi and Subseeder Abomasnow. Previously I had a RestTalk Heracross on that slot, but I needed a Steel for Outrage incase my primary counter is taken down.
In that case mixpert is your friend. You'll need to rebreed for relaxed though:
Swampet@Leftovers
Relaxed
252HP/136Def/120SpAtt
Surf/Hydro Pump
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Rest/Roar
Monotype team rarely work, it's not advisable because you get swept by single attacks. For example, Garchomp destroys your entire team either with EQ (TTar, Houndoom, Frosglass) and the others die to STABed outrages. The lack of resistances and the reliance on those who do resist quicly mounts up in this kind of team.
Okay, thanks for the advice. Just one more thing - what levels would you recommend?I wasnt criticising, I was offering the only advice you effectively need. There are no established stregies since 99% of people found them extremely easy to bead. But if you need more help, I'd recommend the following:
Bug Dude: Infernape, flamethrower or equivilant on bugs, close combat or equivilant for drapion
Ground Lady: Gastrodon, Surf or equivilant on rocks/grounds, toxic and surf for water/grounds
Fire dude: Gastrodon, Surf or equivilant on fire types/Rock Types, earthquake on Normal types and luxray chrunches his ghost
Psychic Dude: Infernape's flamethrower on Zong, Straptor's ariel ace or equivilent on medicham, luxray crunches the rest.
Champ: Switch around as to hit for SE damage.
You shouldnt need muh more advice than that. If you had trouble first time round it was probably due to their levels being too low. Since you have diamond dilaga's roar of time can usually get rid of 50% of any poke's health so make use of that should the counter I've put above be dead. Then switch to another pokemon revive the needed one again.
But how am I ensured that I will get a relaxed Swampert? Like I could get a sassy one and then I would have to keep breeding to get a relaxed one right? If that's the case I may stick with the Mild Swampert and focus on his special attacks. I was thinking his moveset should be like: Ice Beam, Surf, Earthquake, Protect. Raise up his SpA stat by 120 and his HP stat by 252. I am really in the shuffle here lol

I guess Skarmory comes into CBChomp all right (bar, maybe, Fire Blast). But Brave Bird's going to have a tough time taking a defensive Celebi down if it gets Leech Seed in. Cool thing is Celebi doesn't actually do much after that if it doesn't pack HP Fire, so you have set-up time.
Abomasnow Blizzard also 2HKOs Skarmory - but, y'know, Abomasnow's not too common anyways.
I'd be a slight bit wary of using Skarmory to deal with them, but it can work out, I guess.
well, i looked on smogon and noticed that bastiodon has great defenses and was thinking if there was a defensive wall set for it.
so, my question is, can anyone give me a defensive bastiodon set, if there is one.
