Okay, well then what EVs do you recommend for Milotic as a special wall, and what moves too?

Milotic has always played a Supportive role. So, when you look at standard sets, they normally pack Def and Sp.Attk Ev's.

If you truly want it to be a Sp.Wall, I guess you could go

Milotic-Leftovers
Calm, Ev's: 252 HP and Sp.DEF/ 6 Sp.Attk
1. Hypnosis
2. Recover
3. ________
4. ________

With the next slots being something else.

or Rest and Sleep Talk instead of Recover and something else.

There are so many better Sp.Walls.

But wait, isn't it better to give it a Bold nature?
Thank you for the moveset.

I've changed my other post a little, so look at it.

Okay, but still, I'm wondering about the nature.

Why would you go Bold? If Milotic is to wall Special attacks, she needs all the SDef she can get. How would Bold help her? Besides, if Blissey of all Pokemon needs to go Calm to protect against all of the harder hitting Special sweepers, someone like Milotic definitely needs to.

Also, Bobbery, 100 base SAtk isn't pathetic. It's definitely above average, especially for a defense-oriented Pokemon.

Oh.. jesus christ I need to get my facts straight. I don't know why I was thinking of raising her defense when I want her to be a special wall, my bad.
But wait, could she possibly be a mixed? Or does Milotic lack defense too much? Cause in one guide it said to give her a Bold nature with the moves Surf, Ice Beam, Recover, and Hypnosis/Toxic/HP Electric.

EDIT: Oh wait, I'm being stupid again. The Milotic wall on the guide is obviously a physical wall. So never mind.

None of the Milotics on the guides are Sp.Walls.

@aircondtioning: Base 100 would be bad for a Sweeper, and I was trying to tell fiery Arcanine that Milotic was not a sweeper.

Well I guess mine is a bold nature, with surf, ice beam, toxic, and recover -- 252 HP/252 Def/6 Sp. Atk.
Decent, right?

Think of it like this. Blissey needs a Calm nature with 216 Sp.DEF EV's.

DO you think that Milotic can wall with Bold and no Sp.DEF EV's?

... It's supposed to be a physical wall.

That set brings its DEF to 282. That's not good. It's not going to be walling anything Physical, unless you get Marvel Scale activated somehow.

Well I'm hoping his Recover will help him some, plus the 252 HP EVs, and his base Sp. Def is 125, so he can take some special hits too.

Garchomp@Life Orb/Yache Berry/Leftovers
Jolly
252Att/252Spd/6HP
Swords Dance
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Fire Fang/Fire Blast

Arguably the best garchomp set. Fire blast is there for if skarmpory scares you, otherwise go fire fang.

Recover isn't worth a thing when all you can do is use it every turn just to survive. Likewise, you can't use it if you're dead. Pokemon have things that they just can't do- you're never going to see a physical walling Blissey.

I don't know much about the dynamics of the game (as in EV's, IV's and DV's), because I really don't understand it at all. However what I do want is a strong team with strong movesets, and increased stats for each particular pokemon. Here's my team, then.

1. Weavile @ Scope Lens

As you can probably already see, I need a lot of help. My pokemon have horrible stats, and I really want them to be better, but they also need some better movesets. Help me please?
