Request an Individual Move Set Thread

Hey I finally got pokemon pearl and can someone tell me a good moveset for a Chimchar which is a Docile.

You really don't need to worry about movesets early on in the game. Just try to limit yourself to one attack of each type per poke to allow for maximum coverage. Concentrate on having fun with it :)

Oh and sorry but I haven't accepted your FR. I only really accept them off people I talk to around the forum.

Does substitute exist in 3rd gen games or is it a 4th gen move?

Nope, it was introduced in 2nd gen. However it wasnt a tm until DP, click here to see who learnt it and when.

It was introduced in R/B/Y, just checked Smogon. However, it wasn't a TM then.

Ah right, I've always thought of it as a rather recent move. You learn something everyday eh? :)

It was an emerald tutor move in 3rd gen though, so it was pretty much an HM if you could get battle points quickly.

Also, repeating my request of bulky DDmence.

Salamence@Leftovers / Life Orb
224 HP / 12 Atk / 196 Def / 76 Speed
Jolly Nature
- Roost
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake

280 speed, thus outspeeding Lucario and CB Hera, you are faster so can Roost to cancel out your flying type so Stone Edge wont be a problem from either CB Cross or Lucario, it wont OHKO anyways if you do switch in on it, even with Stealth Rock in play =)

Scarf Cross Stone Edge does (38.76% - 45.99%) after intimidate, as its assumed your switching in. You will outspeed scarf hera after after a dragon dance and can therefore Roost.

Now the question lies which item ? leftovers lets you be more defensive whilst Life Orb lets you ohko heracross after a DD and Lucario straight up.

So ill leave this up to you.

You get walled by Zong and Skarm, but its a small price to pay for being able to beat such threats. Magnezone and Heatran work well in conjunction with this, so you could save a spot on your team for one =)

k im gonna ask again. can anyone Please make me a double battle team that has a manactrec and a skarmory in it please?

Yeah, if you want them to make you a team, you need to be more specific.

well i need a team of six for starters that i can use in doubble battles against my friends

and all i know is i want a 2 Special Sweeper(Manectrec,?), A Physical Sweeper(?),Physical Wall(Skarmory), Special Wall And a Tank

You'll want to add a spinner to that list. Double battles are rife with stealth rock because everyone wants to avoid moves like EQ with flying types. Donphan makes a good spinner since it can use STABed EQ itself.

Oh and sorry but I rejected your FR. I only add people that I'm familiar with and talk to.

lol thats ok about the friend thing but do you have aim or an msn??

so i can have a chat with you

I'm afraid I have neither, I live in the uk so no aim, and this particular laptop has administrator locks set by my dad's work so I am unable to install programs.

ok do you have any ideas of what 6 i should have in my teem?

Hey can anyone give me a good moveset for a special sweeper manectrec and a spiker skarmory

Bringing up a topic from a ittle earlier, substitute was a RBY TM. It was originally TM50, and you could buy it in the game corner. It wasn't nearly as good back in the day, and you could still be paralyzed or put to sleep through it.

I am pretty sure tm50 in pkmon blue was subsitute so it is a 1st gen move (my freind has an articuno with substitute so I know it can be obtained)

Can anyone suggest a good moveset for a timid Heatran? Maybe not the best nature but I think it's workable.
