Can I have a good moveset for a Special Sweeper Gengar please? I'm thinking of Thunderbolt, Shadow ball, Focus Blast and Will O Wisp.
There are two main sets for a Gengar.

Gengar @ Life Orb
Timid
252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Hypnosis

Considering how Platinum destroyed Hypnosis and its accuracy, are you using D/P? ?_?

Gengar @ Choice Scarf / Choice Specs
Timid
252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Trick / Hidden Power Ice

Use Trick if you want to mess up Gengar's counters or Hidden Power Ice for revenging Dragons.

Yep that works, you can also choose a Hidden power for the last slot (Ice For dragons or Fire For Scizor, although W-O-W will screw that up badly) or Hypnosis. But sure, that set works fine..

Either life orb for all out or wide lense.

Then just a 6 hp /252 speed / 252 sp.att spread @ timid.

You can also scarf it or specs it, then trick becomes an option too.

Nidoking@Choice Band
Adamant
252Att/252Spd/6HP
Outrage
Earthquake
Fire Punch
Sucker Punch

This nidoking hads sold so many records, he's gone platinum :P Terrible joke, but hows the moveset? Dragon-Ground-Fire hits the entire metagame for neutral, Outrage and STAB EQ hit amazingly hard between them. Sucker Punch for priority. Is it at all viable or is it better to stick with the current standard?

^
Except that Nido doesnt have the attack enough to use it effectively and Non-STAB Outrage is USELESS. Mixed Nidos work much better in UU as they can effectively take down Steelix( Earth Power) and other walls.

Can someone give me a set for a Registeel/rock.ice For a trick room team?

imunster:
If you'll use it in UU, use this set:

Lapras (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 16 HP/252 Atk/224 Spd/16 SAtk
Naughty nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Dragon Dance
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Return

Its a wall-breaking Lapras. DONT chnage the EV's unless you want to miss out on some crucial 2HKO's and OHKO's. Basically,Dragon Dance, then hit their incoming physical wall with Hydro Pump / Ice Beam. Hit special walls hard with a boosted Return.
May seem odd at first glance but is VERY effective.

Is this useable?:

Shiny Meditite @ Serious
31/31/31/x/31/31

It was my first chain.. I got super lucky :x

Awww, dammit, so close, Franklin!

Serious, unfortunately is an unusable nature. Adamant/Jolly is the way to go with Medicham.

Absol with razor claw or scope lens with super luck

Night slash
sucker punch
psycho cut
stone edge

stone edge

Razor Claw and Scope Lens are illegal. For absol, use:
Absol@Life Orb
Nature:Adamant/Jolly
EVs: 252 Att, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Ability: Super Luck
Moves:
Sucker Punch/Night Slash
SwordsDance
Psycho Cut
X-Scissor
SD power up and proceed to sweep. Sucker Punch is priority while Nght Slash has high crit rate. Psycho Cut for crits, X-Scissor for Dark types that wall you.

Also, could someone give me a good set for my Relaxed Uxie, if there is one?

Uxie@Leftovers *Not a Cresselia*
Relaxed
252HP/252def/6sp.def

Stealth Rock
U-Turn
Yawn
Thunderbolt/Psychic/Protect

Don't treat this like a Cresselia, which is impossible thanks to its different support. Stealth Rock early, then proceed to U-Turn things and build up SR damage. Yawn assists in causing switches or putting something to sleep. The last slot is for whatever you need support for: Thunderbolt for Gyara/Starmie, Psychic for STAB and Infernape/Heracross, and Protect to scout Choiced attacks, letting Yawn safely activate, and providing Leftovers recovery.

oh wow for real? I only thought that was for when the clause was in effect I guess it's always in effect then? I'm not an expert when it comes to battling....sorry for the wrong info

Anybody asking for a set here is assumed to be playing under standard competetive conditions unless they specify otherwise. Therefore hax clause is always taken into account.

Can I get a moveset for Dragonite and Vileplume/Bellosom (whichever is better)

What would be a good pokemon to cover scarfed jolly medicham's weaknesses and counters?

What about Spiritomb? It is inmmune to brick break/hi jump kick and to psycho cut/zen headbutt, and it kills medicham with dark pulse/sucker punch iirc.

I think he means which poke can be used alongside medicham to take hits coming from medicham's opposing counter.

But yeah, 3 of the 5 counters named by smogon (Celebi, Cresselia and Dusknoir) are all weak to ghost/dark attacks. All three of these pokes are also EV'd with physical defence in mind, so a special sweeper with access to a ghost/dark move should work. Smogon also list gyara/salamence as counters due to intimidate, so HP Ice gengar could work:

Gengar@Life Orb
Timid
252SpAtt/252Spd/6HP
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
HP Ice
Thunderbolt

Standard set really, just with HP Ice over hypnosis (If you're playing platinum you'd do this anyway). Shadow ball hits the first 3 counters for STAB'd super effective damage. while thunderbolt/HP ice nail the final 2 for quad-damage. Obviously gengar cannot switch into the latter two, but if you can remove them prior to showing medicham then they're one less thing to worry about.

Also note, however, that Medicham is weak to Ghost, as is Gengar. Have fun switching in against Dusknoir. Cressy and Celebi can run their STAB Psychic to kill Gar, so I think this is more sane, although harder to get.

Heatran@Choice Specs
Modest
252sp.atk/212speed/40HP

Fire Blast/Flamethrower
Earth Power
Dragon Pulse
Explosion/Hidden Power Grass/Overheat

Heatran is usually Scarfed these days, so SpecsTran runs a nice surprise that can't be dealt with until it's too late. Anyway, this can switch into most sets of the above 3 Pokemon (barring Earth Power Celebi, Earthquake Dusknoir, or HP Ground Cressy, which honestly, you shouldn't see at all) I shouldn't have to explain the moveset. In the last spot, Overheat is your "Crush things now wonder what comes in later" move. HP Grass smashes apart waters that come in (bar Gyara), and Dragon Pulse for neutral coverage and Mence.
