ummm...i just got that set off smogon.i assume that is the reason for snow cloak, as it has naff abilities.

Focus sash could keep it in for another move, then if you used ice shard (if you're slower than the opponent), you then get a hit back at them.
And as for your third pokemon....well, i can't remember what you're using, so post the sets of all the pokes in your team and i'll tell you (although order doesn't matter after no.1)

Ok I would like some help on building my team, at moment I dont really have a team just some pokemons that im training. I have been training Gyarados/Monferno/Staravia/Pikachu/Prinplup.

In my team I need Water / Fire /Electric is a must and Ground, Ground can be a secondary type same goes with either Flying or Psychic, here are some thoughts on a team I could build, I just want advice or ideas please :) Also I want pokemon in my team that I like not ones I dont find intresting lol.

Water/Ground - Swampert (Allthough Im not sure of this)
Fire - Typhlosion or Houndoom (Or should I stick with my Monferno)
Electric - Pikachu (yes, yes I know but out of all of my team I think is a must, mine knows Volt tackle aswell)
Flying - Not to sure Starapor/Swellow/Pidgeotto?
And then no clue..I wouldnt mind psychic and a Legendary.

Please help to me to finish a decent enough team. Thanks

Well right now I have a team in the making. So far my team has....

Porygon Z
Gallade
Typhlosion

I've put these 3 in a few battles in Battle revolution and kicked alot of ass. Porygon Z just destroys ubers after nasty plot, Typhlosion's Eruption and speed EV's Make it a great lead pokemon, And Gallade is just damn cool. However, ONE MOVE just destroys these pokemon. Trick room. I hate trick room. I lost to a friggin Trapinch since alot of these pokemon are preety fast and have weak defense.

I'm thinking of getting Swampert, Tyranitar, And Skarmory to fill in the last 3 slots. Since Tyranitar and swampert are slow, They should be able to handle trick room preety well. And Skarmory seems like a preety good physical wall. You think they would work out fine with my other 3 pokemon?

Darkrai IVs

What IVs should I try to max with the member card Darkrai?

I was thinking of going for a timid nature (to help out with speed and I don't need Attack)

But mainly, what IVs should I try and go for?

Thanks!

That's sort of a silly question. You usually hope that the majority of the IV's are high enough and that it includes to one's youa re going to use the most.

Im a n00b so I just kinda wanna know what to do to make sure the darkrai i catch has great ivs

its in my sig...
plus that gengar plus mamo..

There's nothing you can do to make sure.
You just have to catch it, check it, and if they're no good, reset.

You really can't "check" the IVs because if you go into a battle, the game saves. :/ So there's no way except luck. (Unless you rare-candy it up to a good level of 50)

Generally speaking...

Am I better off Agility-Passing to Regigigas or Exploud? I'd like both faster but only plan on using one. As far as direction with them goes, it's undetermined...hence why we're speaking generally here.

That's what level Darkrai is caught at.
So I don't see why it won't work.
I've done it.

OH. >.< I'm terribly sorry. I guess you can check it then. Just didn't seem like you should be able to.

I have a question does Ampharos make a better Sp.Attacker or Wall? What is usally the best set for it? Also in general what is the best HP to use on it water, ice,or grass.

Depends on what you want to use it for.
Physical ones should have higher Attack and Speed IV's.
Special ones should have higher Special Attack and Speed IV's.
There is no such thing as "Good IV's" because all IV's are the same.

Having a bit of trouble...

Deoxys-D, Leftovers
Calm Nature
252 HP/176 Def/80 S.Def
Pressure
Recover
Cosmic Power
Ice Beam/Toxic
Thunderbolt/Superpower

Was trying to make a Deoxys-D that could boost it's defenses higher, but still be able to attack. I was thinking of Toxic, but Steel-types became and issue...

Was thinking of making a clefable for a staller/blissey counter

Clefable@ leftovers
252 hp/252 def/ 6 speed
Relaxed
-drain punch
-protect
-toxic
-softboiled

It does both fairly well in the UU/NU environment. There's no "best set" really, but this set is bulky and still a good special attacker:

Ampharos @ Leftovers
Modest
208 HP / 252 Special Attack / 48 Speed
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- HP Ice / HP Grass
- Focus Blast / Focus Punch

Your Hidden Power choice is dependent and what your team need coverage against. HP Grass hit bulky waters, while HP Ice hits the Nido's, Altaria and other grass types.

A Specs set is also possible by replacing another attacking move with Substitute for some extra coverage.

Ok thanks for the set. As for the Specs set you think signal beam would work there?
